ISIS Plot To Murder The Duchess Of Cambridge By Poisoning Food She Buys At The Supermarket

ISIS extremists have threatened to murder Kate Middleton by poisoning the food she buys at the supermarket.

The threats against the Duchess of Cambridge have been made on messaging service Telegram and encourage fanatics to tamper with her food.

In one image, the 37-year-old is shown with a red X on a shopping trolley with the caption: 'We know what she eats – poison it!'

Additional threats have been made towards her son Prince George and information about where she goes shopping.

The messages are being taken 'very seriously', as reported by the Daily Star Sunday.

A source told the newspaper: 'Intelligence agents believe the threats made against Kate are not idle and are linked to messages sent by Husnain Rashid.

'It's a disgusting plot as it involves Kate's young children, and hits out at her attempt to live a normal life like any mother wants to.'

Husnain Rashid was jailed for life with a minimum of 25 years for calling on ISIS supporters to attack Prince George.

The 32-year-old used a Telegram chat group to urge supporters to target the heir to the throne.

Rashid, from Lancashire, posted a photograph of the prince at his school super-imposed with silhouettes of two masked jihad fighters.

During his May 2018 trial, prosecutor Annabel Darlow told the court Rashid messaged the Telegram group with a picture of the young prince, saying: 'Even the royal family will not be left alone.'

He added: 'School starts early.'

Rashid also posted suggestions of which British football stadiums terrorists could strike following the deadly attack outside Besiktas’s ground in Turkey.

And in addition to that he plotted to inject ice cream with poison.

Kensington Palace has been been approached for comment.

Church Usher R*pes 5-Year-Old Girl During Service

The police at MAN Centre Division led by CSP Tanaruno Folashade have arrested a church worker of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (Redemption Pavilion), one Saviour Udoh, for engaging a 5-year old daughter of one of their members in a s-x romp during service in Lagos.

P.m Express reports that the incident happened at a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church located at 19, Oshifila Street, Anifowoshe in Ikeja, Lagos where the mother of the victim took her for prayer and protection.

It was gathered that the mother of the victim took her to the church and went to work with the intention that she will be safe there before she will take her back home. However, when the mother came to pick the victim, she met Udoh with the victim where they were sleeping and covered themselves with clothes which they used during the romp.

When the mother took the 5-year old victim home, she was busy putting her hand inside her private part because of the sperm drifting from it. The mother then suspected her action and checked her private part only to discover that she had been defiled. She asked her who did it and the victim mentioned Udoh.

The matter was reported to the MAN Centre Police Station and Udoh was arrested. The matter was later transferred to the Gender Section of the State Command for further investigations.

Police source said that Udoh admitted but claimed that it was the devil that pushed him to do so inside the church. The police found him culpable and charged him before Ogba Magistrates Court for defilement.

The court did not take his plea and did not grant him bail. The prosecutor, Supol E Ayorinde, informed the court that it was a case of defilement which was a capital offence and needed DPP advice.

Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O .Osunsanmi, ordered him to be remanded in prison without an option of bail.

The court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to DPP for advice.

The matter was adjourned till 6th February, 2019, when the court expected the DPP report to be available.

However, the matter may be transferred to the High Court if the DPP finds him culpable for the alleged offence. He may spend many years in prison if he is tried and found guilty by the court because of the nature of the offence.

Cara Delevingne Loses 50k Instagram Followers After Speaking Out About R Kelly

Cara Delevingne has revealed she lost more than 50,000 followers on Instagram after taking a stand against American singer R Kelly.

The 26-year-old model shared a post after watching the explosive Surviving R Kelly documentary seriesrevealing she had been left "shocked and outraged" over the accusations of abuse from his alleged victims.

She then went on to brand R Kelly , 52, a predator and said he should be under investigation like shamed film mogul Harvey Weinstein.

Cara then praised his abuse survivors and other industry names like John Legend for speaking out against him.

But following her passionate statement just a day later Cara shared an amusing picture of herself pointing out the significant drop in followers adding along with a lengthy caption.

"This is me realizing I lost more than 50,000 followers yesterday after posting about @rkelly Every time I say something real, something I truly believe, something others may think of as controversial, something that makes people think and ask questions, I lose followers.

"The followers I lose clearly don’t agree with what I have to say, people that support the ideas and actions of others who are moving backwards and not forwards. In 2019, I want to be more confrontational. Confrontation IS NOT VIOLENCE btw, it’s communication. Something I still struggle with.

"I have always been taught to avoid confrontation at all costs, which caused me to be silent most of my life, silence causes suppression and suppression causes sickness. Not anymore! Goodbye silence and backwards followers, hello confrontation and forward thinkers. It’s going to be a loud year xxx #MuteRKelly."

Cara took to Instagram to share her support for the women speaking out saying that her "heart goes out to all the victims of his emotional and physical abuse and their families".

She confessed she "knew of the allegations" but felt that she had "failed to try and understand the severity of the situation".

"I still continued to listen to his music. Stop separating art from the artist, just because he sings like an angel, doesn’t mean he is one," she added.

The Paper Towns actress then went on to applaud John Legend, Lady Gaga, Chance the Rapper and Jada Pinkett Smith for being so vocal about the controversial story.

"I really hope that more musicians stand up against this monster #MuteRKelly #MeToo #BlackGirlslivesmatter"

Sad Story Of How A Paedo Dad R*ped Daughter Up Four Times A Day & Getting Pregnant Twice At 13

Brave Shannon Clifton tells for the first time of her eight years of vile s-xual abuse and beatings at the hands of her paedophile father.

Now 18, she waives her anonymity to reveal the monster first r-ped her on their living room floor at the age of six.

It was the start of an ordeal that tore her young life to shreds as Shane Ray Clifton attacked her over and over, up to four times a day.

When he discovered Shannon was expecting at 11, the pervert battered her unconscious and she lost the baby.

And after she became pregnant again at 13, twisted Clifton Googled ways to make her miscarry, forcing her into dangerous exercise routines.

When she was nine months’ pregnant, a suspicious school nurse asked her to take a pregnancy test.

Terrified Shannon refused, but her father feared his sickening crimes were about to be exposed and forced her to join him on the run, sparking a six-day police manhunt.

Two days after they were found Shannon gave birth to a baby that was both her son – and her brother.

Clifton, 36, got a minimum 15 years life sentence for r-pe at Derby Crown Court in 2015.

Neither he nor his daughter could be named – but the case hit the headlines as tragic, brainwashed Shannon screamed in court: “I love you Dad, I miss you.”

Three years on, having escaped her hell at Clifton’s hands, her feelings are much more complicated. Now she is speaking out to persuade other abused children to seek help.

“He stole my life,” she says. “He turned it into a nightmare I couldn’t wake up from – r-ping and beating me for years. I was frightened and in pain every day.

“I hate my dad now, but I will always miss him because he was the only person I had throughout my whole childhood.”

The court heard how cunning binman Clifton had “poisoned her” against her mother.

“I was always my dad’s favourite, his little princess,” says Shannon.

“If my mum ever shouted at me, he’d tell her, ‘Don’t speak to my Shannon like that’. He was so protective. We were inseparable.”

So she went to live with him alone, aged five. “He changed quickly,” she says.

“He’d scream if I did something he didn’t like, then it was a slap around the head. Then he started punching me. Over the years, he burnt me with an iron, attacked me with a hammer, stabbed me and split my head open.”

Clifton turned her against the rest of the family until she stopped seeing them.

And, then, when she was six years old and isolated from anyone who might help her, the worst torture began.

“He got me up in the night and made me lie on the floor in my nightie,” she says. “Then he lay on top of me and just did it. I felt the worst pain imaginable. I was screaming for him to stop, but he wouldn’t.

“Afterwards I lay there bleeding. I was sobbing so much I could barely breathe.”
The r-pes became regular – and the little girl bravely fought back in vain.

“He would always say sorry afterwards,” says Shannon. “When he’d finished, I’d play with my toys to distract myself.

“He said it was something all dads did to daughters, but I had to keep it secret. He’d hug me and promise it would never happen again. But it always did. Yet I still loved him. He was all I had.”

The attacks gathered pace, up to four times a day. “He would even make me have s-x with him in the woods,” says Shannon.

“He’d film it and once made me watch it. I was crying – it was so horrible.”

At 11, Shannon fell pregnant. Confused and frightened, she hid it the best she could until blurting it out to him at 28 weeks.

“I got beat up really bad and knocked out. I don’t recall it that clearly,” says Shannon. “But I remember one minute I had a baby inside me and the next there was blood everywhere and the baby was gone.”

When she fell pregnant again at 13, Clifton again tried to make Shannon miscarry – even looking up ways online. When it didn’t work, Shannon claims he came up with a plan to kill her baby after birth.

Wiping away tears, she says: “That was the most evil thing he ever did or said. He went into detail – I can’t talk about it.”

With her growing bump becoming hard to hide, Shannon was called in by the school nurse and asked to take a pregnancy test. She refused and fled. That night, police swooped on their flat.

“As soon as he saw them, Dad told me to climb over the fence at the back and run across the fields. He followed.”

They spent six nights sleeping rough as police appealed for sightings. Shannon recalls: “It was October. I was freezing, exhausted and frightened. We moved around all the time. I had pains, but kept telling myself, ‘You can’t go into labour yet, you need to be found first’.”

When Clifton broke cover to take Shannon into Derby, police cornered him.

“We tried to run, but a police car swung round in the street and dad was arrested,” says Shannon. Alone for the first time in years, she gave birth to her baby boy in hospital two days later.

She says: “I loved him instantly. I thought, ‘He is my life now.’ But he was my brother. It was so confusing.”

She kept the tot until a week before his first birthday when, alone and living in care, Shannon bravely decided to give him up for adoption. I couldn’t give him everything he needed,” she says. “I wanted him to grow up with a nice family, one I never had. I’ll always be his mum.”

After a DNA test proved Clifton was the boy’s father he admitted rape – but said his crimes began when Shannon was 10.

Astonishingly, she hasn’t completely retracted that courtroom vow of love. “I’m getting better, but there’ll always be some kind of love for my dad,” she says.

Despite that, her biggest fear is that one day he will kill her. “I worry about it,” she says. He has a lifetime restraining order, but will that matter? He’ has nothing to lose.”

Meanwhile, her ordeal has left her with PTSD in the form of frightening flashbacks. She attempted suicide at 16 – but with the help of a kind foster family, Shannon finally began to rebuild her life.

Now she is renting her own flat and will start a criminal psychology degree in September, and hopes that will help her understand some of her father’s motives.

She says: “I’ll never know exactly why my dad did what he did, but my aim is to help other abuse victims who read this – so they can find the help they need.”

Kizz Daniel’s Manager Wasn’t Sacked, He Voluntarily Resigned -Source

Following widespread reports that Kizz Daniel sacked his manager, Oluwatumininu Lawrence; barely two weeks after Davido allegedly slapped and physically assaulted him at his ‘City of David’ concert on December 27th, many have questioned the rationale behind the sudden change in management.

While speculations that the altercation between Davido, his aides and Tumi Lawrence at Eko Hotel may have been the reason behind Kizz Daniel’s decision to dump Tumi for a new manager, a reliable source in Kizz’s camp who spoke to Potpourri on anonymous grounds has come out to clear the air on the matter.

According to the source, Kizz Daniel did not sack Tumi, he willingly quit his job as Kizz’s manager.

“The reports gone viral online that Kizz Daniel fired his manager, Tumi Lawrence, is false. How could he have sacked him; Kizz cannot even come out to say that he sacked Tumi because he willingly resigned as Kizz’s manager.

The new lady parading herself as Kizz’s new manager was actually brought in by Tumi to handle publishing; but she began usurping everything. Then Kizz decided that she becomes his new manager while Tumi will still be handling bookings which didn’t go down well with him.

eventually decided to quit because he couldn’t take it. He felt cheated, slighted and disrespected, so he voluntarily resigned”, the source said. In a chat with Potpourri, another close associate of the ‘Woju’ singer who pleaded anonymity accused him of being obsessed with gaining international recognition, which is why he let Tumi off the hook when he decided to quit. “I really don’t understand Kizz anymore, but I think he is obsessed with the need to gain international recognition, if not, why would you just bring someone else on the team when you still have a substantive manager who has done everything to promote your brand beyond imagination? And trust me; Kizz would not say anything about all this because that’s his style.

Have you wondered why he hasn’t personally said anything about all this since? He knows what he is doing.” However, Kizz Daniel has remained radio silent on the matter, but his new management, led by one Rebecca Junaid has released an official statement stating that Flyboi INC and Kizz Daniel are now under a new management, with one Ogaga Sakpaide as the new public relations personnel.

I Can Recommend My Ex To A Friend - Seyi Shay

Fast-rising actress and sultry singer, Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, better known by her stage name ‘Seyi Shay has probably given a hint about the other of hers that is not open to the public.

Being a very private person one would expect the ‘Irawo’ crooner to be clingy and possessive but her recent chat with Potpourri reveals she’s anything but possessive. When she was asked if she could recommend her ex boyfriend to a friend for marriage, the singer, who had a respectable outing in 2018 answered in the affirmative.

Hear her, “Yes, I would recommend an ex to a friend. I would be in the best position to know if they are suitable for each other, since I’m friends with both of them. The case of jealousy doesn’t arise because he’s my ex and our relationship was already in the past. If he’s good enough for my friend, why not recommend him? His not being good enough for me doesn’t mean he can be good for my friend. Surely, I will recommend him, I see no reason badmouthing him to a friend who’s truly interested in him”

Violence At Lagos APC Rally: Update On Tales About MC Oluomo

Anyone caught spreading rumour of the death of Lagos State National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Treasurer, Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo, will be prosecuted, a government agency warned yesterday.

Reiterating that MC Oluomo is not dead,
the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences Unit (Task Force) described the rumour peddlers as miscreants who are planning to foment trouble and cause panic in Oshodi and other major motor parks.

In a statement by its spokesman, Taofiq Adebayo, the agency said Chairman Olayinka Egbeyemi had confirmed that Akinsanya “is not dead but recuperating in hospital”.

The task force urged the NURTW leadership to call its members to order, noting that the police would prosecute any hoodlum who disrupted peace.

It said: “Once again, we are using this medium to warn miscreants and hoodlums who may want to foment mayhem to desist or face the full wrath of the law. We are urging parents and guardians to monitor their children and wards.

“The agency will patrol the nooks and crannies of Oshodi to forestall a breakdown of law and order.”

It urged everyone in Lagos not to panic or entertain any fear as they go about their activities in Oshodi and other parts of the state.

Saraki's Family Quarter Attacked By Armed Thugs, 11 Injured

Hoodlums said to be political thugs have invaded the Agbaji area of Ilorin, where the family residence of the President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki, is located.

No fewer than 11 people were reportedly injured when the hoodlums invaded the area and damaged 50 vehicles on Sunday.

Also, Solagberu and Aliagan mosques, as well as about five buildings in the area were damaged during the attack.

The incident, according to residents of the area, started at about 11.30am when armed thugs stormed the area and shot into the air to scare people away.

According to the President of Agbaji Development Association, Alhaji Olanrewaju Yusuf, the thugs were led by some stalwarts of an opposition party.

Yusuf claimed that one of the victims of the attack, a seven-year-old, died.

He said, “We learnt that a boy in Ode Alausa, just opposite this house (Saraki’s homestead), who was hit by a bullet has died. His name is Abubakare.”

When asked of about age of the boy, he said he was about six or seven years old. However, Yusuf’s claim could not be verified.

He said 11 people, who sustained injuries from gunshots, were taken to the General Hospital, Ilorin, and a private medical facility for treatment.

He said, “The thugs came around 11.30am and shot into the air. In fact, they were provided cover by the police. At least 11 people sustained injuries from bullets, while about 50 cars including that of Imam Aliagan were destroyed.

“The thugs also stole four motorcycles, money and jewelry from shops deserted by their owners”.

The violence, it was gathered, later spread to the Ajikobi and Omoda areas of Ilorin metropolis.

The Director General of the Peoples Democratic Party campaign council in the state, Prof. Suleiman Abubakar, said the violence was perpetrated by the All Progressives Congress leaders to instill fears in residents ahead of the elections.

The state Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Tunde Ashaolu, said the incident had validated the alarm raised by the Senate President on threat to his life.

Saraki hurriedly returned to Ilorin from Erin-Ile in the Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State where he had gone to address a political rally.

Saraki, during his visit to Agbaji quarters, urged his people to remain calm, saying they should not be provoked to carry out a reprisal.

The President of the Senate visited the General Hospital, Ilorin, to sympathise with the victims of the attacks.

The police spokesman in Kwara State, Ajayi Okasanmi, said that he would forward his reaction through an SMS to one of The Punch. His reaction was still being awaited as of press time.

New Minimum Wage: Fresh Crisis Looms

The moves by the Federal Government and the organised labour to finalise the new minimum wage issue this month is said to be facing yet another crisis.

Sources at the National Assembly disclosed that the legislature plans to go on another recess ahead of the presentation of an executive bill on a new minimum wage by the presidency, which is one of the agreements reached between the government and the worker unions.

National Assembly is on Christmas and New Year recess and will resume on Tuesday.

While the Presidency plans to transmit National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Bill to the National Assembly on January 23, sources in the leadership of the National Assembly told The Punch that the lawmakers might go on another recess by January 24.

He said, “The lawmakers will close on that day to allow members to participate in electioneering, ahead of general elections which will begin in February.”

The Federal Government and the organised labour had on Tuesday reached an agreement that the Presidency would send the minimum wage bill to the National Assembly after their meetings.

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, who presided over the meeting, had assured the labour leaders that the Federal Government would send the bill to the National Assembly on January 23, after the lawmakers’ resumption from their Yuletide recess.

Barring any change of plan, both chambers of the National Assembly are expected to adjourn plenary after five sittings. The Punch gathered that they would hold plenary on Wednesday, January 16, and Thursday, January 17, before adjourning till Tuesday, January 22.

Upon resumption on January 22, the lawmakers plan to sit on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday before proceeding on a three-week break to enable most of them to participate in their re-election campaigns.

Speaking with The Punch, a National Assembly source said, “That (January) 23 they said they would transmit the bill to the National Assembly, the National Assembly might have embarked on recess again for the elections. And they know that the lawmakers will not resume until after the elections. They know what they are doing.

“We will go (on recess) between this week and next week. We will go by Thursday (January 24). Our (presidential, Senate and House of Representatives) election is on the 16th (of February), so we have less than one month (to campaign). Why can’t they transmit the bill on Tuesday when we will resume?”

When contacted for his comment, Chairman of the House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Mr Abdulrazak Namdas, said work would continue on legislative activities except when the lawmakers were on recess.

Speaking on the readiness of the lawmakers to expedite work on the bill, Namdas said, “It is a priority; once it is brought (to the legislature) by the executive, we will consider it as a matter of priority.”

Asked if the lawmakers would have enough time to work on the bill scheduled for presentation on January 23 and pass it before the elections, Namdas said, “The entire House can never close. Once the House is in session, whether there is election or anything, some people will remain. There will always be people in the House, and once they form a quorum, they can continue to work.

“I can assure you we will always have that quorum to consider legislative matters like the minimum wage, (2019) budget and other issues.”

When reminded that the National Assembly was scheduled to go on recess latest by January 24, the lawmaker said, “A bill cannot be passed in one day, it can never be passed. Let them bring the bill first. I think we have to get to the river before we cross it.”

Also speaking, the Deputy Minority Leader of the House, Mr Chukwuka Onyema, said, “When we resume on Tuesday, it will be thrown to the open. If it is about time, we will thrash it out.”

When reminded that the National Assembly might go on recess on January 24, he said, “They said they are bringing it on the 23rd and we are resuming this week. When we resume work, we will know what to do.”

President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, had said the National Assembly could pass the wage bill within one week, only if it was transmitted by the Presidency to the legislature by Tuesday.

Saraki’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Yusuph Olaniyonu, who spoke to The Punch on his behalf, had said the bill could be passed before the lawmakers go on another recess.

“The Federal Government should not wait until 23rd January before bringing it. They should bring it on the first day of resumption. If they do so, by the 17th or 18th, work will be concluded on it – within the week,” he had said.

Following the agreements reached with the Federal Government, the President of Trade Union Congress, Kaigama Bobboi, had warned that if the Federal Government reneged on the date it promised to transmit the bill to the National Assembly, labour would take action without any warning.

President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba, who observed that workers had been patient with government for more than two years, had said, “The National Assembly will be back on January 16 from their recess; so on or before January 23, the bill must have been transmitted.

“We will shift our lobby to the National Assembly because once the bill is enacted; the money will be in the pocket of workers. We are tired of stories and that is why we insisted on a timeline.”

Reactions Trailing Trial Of Chief Justice Of Nigeria

All was set last night for Monday’s arraignment of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen before the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) over alleged infractions of the CJN’s assets declaration.

Justice Onnoghen is being arraigned by the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) following a January 7 petition alleging non-declaration and false declaration of his assets between 2005 and 2016.

The petition lodged by Anti-Corruption and Research Based Data Initiative (ARDI) drew the CCB attention to what it called serious concerns bordering on flagrant violation s of the law and constitution of Nigeria by the CJN.

He was said to have been confronted with the purported evidence of false assets declaration and huge lodgments of local and foreign currencies by him into accounts which he allegedly failed to declare in the forms he filled and submitted to the CCB.

But Justice Onnoghen said he did no wrong to warrant his arraignment as, according to him, he satisfied the requirements of publicly declaring his assets as a senior government functionary in the judiciary.

He explained what led to the submission of two assets declaration forms on the same day in 2016 after becoming the CJN. Justice Onnoghen said he forgot to update the assets he declared in the 2005 at its expiration in 2009.

According to the CCB regulations, assets declaration is renewable after every four years by public officers. This is to accommodate updates and amendments.

But the planned arraignment has been drawing reactions from individuals and groups, with many urging the Federal Government to apply caution in its handling of the matter.

Those who reacted include: legal luminary and founder of the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) Aare Afe Babalola, Senate President Bukola Saraki and Peoples Trust Presidential (PT) presidential candidate Gbenga Hashim-Olawepo.

The groups are: the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the ruling All Progressives Party (APC).

Reacting, Aare Babalola said he was taken aback by the alleged gaps in the CJN’s assets declaration just as he was shocked by last year’s raid on the homes of some judges by the Department of State Services (SSS).

He, however, cautioned: “Again, I say, two wrongs do not make a right.” The legal icon warned against impunity.

He said: “Thus the point can even be made, that unlike other judicial officers who can be removed by the President acting upon the recommendation of the National Judicial Council, the CJN can only be removed by the President upon receipt of an address supported by two-thirds majority of the Senate!..."

But the Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee on Corruption (PACAC) Prof Itse Sagay, differed.

He said the Nganjiwa v Federal Republic of Nigeria (2017) LPELR-43391(CA) being cited cannot apply to the CJN case. He said it was wrong for judges to seek judicial immunity for alleged misdeeds.

Dr. Saraki cautioned the government so that the plan to put CJN on trial does not cause chaos in the judicial system.

He urged the Federal Government to ensure that due process is not compromised in the planned trial of Justice Onnoghen.

Olawepo Hashim Olawepo-Hashim described the development as a serious threat to constitutional democracy and rule of law.

He warned: “The principle of separation of powers on which democratic order stands should not be destroyed due to power play or because of any other reason.”

NBA President Paul Usoro, SAN, described the development as an assault, intimidation and desecration of the judiciary that must stop.

Usoro said: “Any infraction in that regard by a judicial officer, as the Court of Appeal rightly held, constitutes a misconduct by the judicial officer and becomes the subject matter for discipline by the NJC as a condition precedent to any possible prosecution of the judicial officer by any of the FGN’s prosecuting agencies.

“Why has FGN decided to embark on this anomalous course of charging the CJN before the CCT without first presenting whatever facts it purportedly has against His Lordship to the NJC for its deliberation and determination?

“The Petition that triggered the CCB action was on its face received by the Bureau on 09 January 2019 and the Charge was promptly drafted and is dated the following day, 10 January 2019 – giving the CCB a record 24 hours for completion of its investigation and the drafting of the said Charge and ancillary processes!”

Tinubu's Ex-CSO Appointed New Lagos Police Commissioner

The Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has redeployed the hardworking and effective Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal.

Sources said Edgal had been directed to take charge of the
Explosives and Ordnance Disposal Unit at the Force headquarters, Abuja.

It was gathered on Sunday that CP Kayode Egbetokun had been directed to take over from Edgal as acting police commissioner in the state.

It could not be immediately ascertained if Egbetokun would be made the substantive CP.

The new acting Lagos Police boss was the CP in charge of Explosives and Ordnance Unit.

He also supervised the Osun governorship election in Ikire town. He's reportedly the CSO to APC national leader, Bola Tinubu when he was Lagos state governor.

A source said, “The redeployment of Egbetokun to Lagos was part of the police operational strategies ahead of the 2019 general elections. Recall that a number of senior police officers, including command Commissioners of Police had been redeployed in the past few weeks.”

Findings indicate that the police leadership had in the past weeks redeployed the CPs in Zamfara, Edo, Ekiti, Imo and Bauchi commands.

This is coming against the backdrop of the expected retirement of the IG who would clock 60 years on Tuesday.

CP Edgal is a fine officer, but the politics of Lagos is not his thing.

Justin Bieber & Wife Staying At Hotel After Pipes Burst At Their $100K A Month Mansion

Fans may have been confused to see LA locals Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin staying at a Beverly Hills hotel instead of their nearby marital mansion for over a week now.

But now the reason for the newlyweds' emergency hotel stay has been revealed.

The couple had to leave the $100K a month property after a pipe burst, according to TMZ on Sunday.

The newly-weds moved out of their 6,000 square foot home in Toluca Lake, in the San Fernando Valley - which they had only moved into in October - because of the plumbing issue, and other maintenance problems, reports the website.

After a pool heater broke, there was trouble with the air-conditioning and a pipe burst, say TMZ's source.

The Sorry singer and his model wife have since been spotted staying at the exclusive Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills - Justin even serenaded the beauty outside the property earlier this month.

They had moved into the expensive 4 bedroom, 7 bathroom Mediterranean-style rental property to avoid living in hotels.
