Yahoo Boys & Girls Nabbed In Abuja, Expensive Cars Recovered

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abuja zonal office has arrested 10 suspected internet fraudsters, following intelligence report of their suspicious activities.

The names of the guys and ladies are;

Triumph Chikwendu Madumere, Success Chukwumazu Obasi, Jamila Shuaibu, Bright Idumwonyi Osaigboko and Obasi Wisdom.

Others are Idemudia Emmanuel, Sandra Alang, Stanley Ohiaeri, Samuel Tochukwu and Ikechukwu David Ohiaeri.

They were arrested at Karu and Mpape settlements of Abuja, on February 7, 2019.

Items recovered from them include, three Mercedes Benz cars, five laptop computers, 10 handsets, ATM cards and other incriminating documents.

Mum R*ped Her Children To Please Sick Husband

A mum r-ped her two children in order to please her sick husband, an Australian court has heard.

The 51-year-old woman - who cannot be named to protect the identities of her victims r-ped her son when he was 15, and her daughter when she was in her teens.

Maryborough District Court heard the husband is now dead, but the woman was terrified about getting divorced.

The horrific s-x attacks happened in Queensland, Australia, the Fraser Coast Chronicle reports.

The woman pleaded guilty to seven counts of r-pe.


Although she was given a nine year sentence, she could be eligible for release in four.

Her daughter, who was just 10 when the abuse started, wept in court as her mum was sentence.

The mum would watch as she was r-ped by her father, the court heard, and the young girl was forced to watch pornography and perform s-x acts.

She said she was scarred for life.

The couple had other children who also said they were abused, but charges were only brought in relation to two of them.

The final r-pe happened in 2016, shortly before the children's dad died.

Judge David Reid described the case as "chilling" and said it was the worst he had ever seen - stating that the mother showed no remorse for what she had done.

He stated: "Quite frankly it's disgusting."

The court was told that the woman had Stockholm Syndrome - a condition which sees a victim fall in love with their abuser.

Woman Welcomes Her First Child On Monday, Celebrated Her Birthday On Tuesday & Died On Wednesday [Photos]

A University of Ilorin graduate, Damilola Quadri has died after giving birth to her first child.

According to her friends who mourned on Facebook sad she gave birth on Monday, February 4th, celebrated her birthday on Tuesday, 5, and died on Wednesday, February 6.

What they wrote below;

Governor Okowa Sacks Security Aide For Alleged Assault On Woman

Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has ordered the sack of his security aide, Mr Friday Eluro.

The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Charles Aniagwu, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

According to him, Governor Okowa ordered that Eluro be sacked after he was caught allegedly assaulting a woman in a purported video.

“Governor Okowa, having watched the video of the assault on the woman, has directed that the appointment of Mr Friday Eluro as security aide be terminated forthwith to serve as a deterrent to others,” he said.

Unity Schools Begin Mid-Term Break Feb. 15

The Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, on Friday officially announced Feb. 15 to Feb. 19 as a mid-term break for students of all the Unity Schools across the country. Adamu made the announcement at the ”7th edition of the Ministerial News Briefing” in Abuja.

“Our students in unity schools are not of voting age but we adjusted the mid-term break to make it fall within the elections period. “The date for the mid-term break will be from Friday, Feb. 15 to Tuesday, Feb. 19. Rivers APC Loses Again In Supreme Court

The Supreme Court on Friday morning dashed any hope of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presenting candidates for the coming general elections scheduled to begin on Saturday 16 February with the presidential and national assembly elections.

A five-man panel of Judges of the court in a judgment upheld the nullification of the primaries of the APC in Rivers State.

On January 7, 2019, a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, nullified the primaries conducted by the two factions of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State.

In the judgment, the court also restrained the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from presenting Tonye Cole, Magnus Abe and other candidates of the APC in the 2019 governorship election in the state.

However, on February 4, 2019, the Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt granted stay of execution of the Federal High Court’s judgement.

Sequel to that the Cole APC faction had taken the case to the Supreme Court.

At the hearing presided by Justice Mohammed Dattijo on Friday, the Supreme Court dismissed the suit, and upheld the judgment of the Federal High Court.

Lionel Messi is the best-paid player on the planet as he rakes in an astonishing £7.3million a month before tax – nearly twice the amount that Cristiano Ronaldo does at Juventus.

In L'Equipe's annual salary report, the French news outlet revealed who the 10 best-paid footballers in Europe are going by monthly wage before tax.

Of these 10, five play in Spain, a pair play in France and England respectively while just the one player features in Italy.

It's no secret that modern-day players are paid huge sums of money but the amount Messi receives on a monthly basis is extraordinary – even by footballers standards.


The Barcelona talisman signed a new contract in November 2017 which propelled him to the top of the list, beating long-term rival Ronaldo in second who earns a staggering £4.1m (€4.7m) a month before tax.

Kendall Jenner Denies Sister, Kylie Is Pregnant

Kendall Jenner cleared the air on her sister Kylie's rumored pregnancy and Super Bowl proposal, during an appearance on Ellen.

Earlier this week, Kendall's 21 year old sister Kylie shared a photo of her and boyfriend Travis Scott on Instagram, which was captioned, 'baby #2?,' but Kendall insisted Kylie isn't pregnant.

'No, she's not, Kendall said. 'I think she was just like, we are looking good and are really into each other and like maybe baby #2 is like gonna happen.'

'They're practicing, right? Is that what you call it?' Jenner added.


When Ellen asked why she would post something like that, Jenner said she didn't know, adding,

'She's really interesting.'

'Love her, love her so much,' Jenner added. 'She's really clever. I don't think she's pregnant, no.'

Ellen also asked, because it's 'legally my responsibility,' if Kylie's boyfriend Travis Scott proposed to her during the Super Bowl.

A schoolboy who suffers from 'Werewolf Syndrome' has told how cruel bullies throw stones at him and call him 'monkey' - but all he wants to do is be their friend.

Lalit Patidar, 13, from India, was born with Hypertrichosis, a condition characterised by abnormal hair growth on the face, arms and other parts of the body.

Despite his condition, the teen lives a happy life and dreams of one day supporting his parents by becoming a police officer.


He also hopes to have surgery in the future so other children stop being so scared to play with him.

“I was born with too much hair on my face and this makes me different,” he said.

“Sometimes I wish I was like other children, but I cannot do much about it.

“I have gotten used to the way I am, and I am usually comfortable with myself.”

Lalit’s 42-year old mum, Parvatibai Patidar, is a busy housewife looking after 14 family members, including Lalit’s five sisters and grandparents.

She was stunned to see her baby boy covered in hair when he was born.

Parvatibai said: “I saw Lalit first half an hour after he was born, I was amazed to see his body covered in extraordinary amount of hair.

“We immediately asked the local paediatrician to examine him who trimmed off his excess hair and said that there is no cure for this.

“I have five daughters and we prayed at lot of temples to have a son. Our prayers were answered when Lalit was born.

“He is different but still very special for me because he was born after many special prayers.”

Despite being used to his condition, Lalit often has bad days when due to his excess hair, he faces difficulty in breathing and sight. His parents have tried a number of treatments without success.

Lalit’s father, a 45-year old celery and garlic farmer, Bankatlal Patidar, said: “When Lalit was two years old, I took Lalit to a big hospital in Baroda where a team of doctors examined him.

“After examining him, they told me that there is no cure for it and if they come across any cure, they will inform me.”

Lalit often gets jeered and stared at while in public, especially when outside of his native village.

“Sometimes when I am out in a busy town, people come and stare at me. Some even call me monkey," he said.

“There have been times when other kids throw stones at me and call me names.

“But my family and friends come to my rescue and defend me during such incidents.”

He added: "I sometimes wish to have some surgery to get rid of excess hair because I want to be friends with everyone. They shouldn't hesitate to play with me.

"If I didn't have hair I'd be fine. No one would bully me."

Lalit is very optimistic about his future and wants to join the police force.

Nantes Retire No 9 Shirt In Honour Of Emiliano Sala

Nantes have retired their No 9 shirt in honour of former striker Emiliano Sala, whose body was found in the plane wreckage in the English Channel this week.

And in tearful scenes outside the club's Stade de la Beaujoire on Friday morning a 'keep hope' banner was removed in front of the floral tribute.

On Wednesday, it emerged an unidentified body - now known to be Sala - was brought off ship, Geo Ocean III, on a stretcher and transferred to a private ambulance before being taken to Dorset Police and the local coroner.

The plane was flying from Nantes, France, the home of Sala's former team, to Cardiff on January 21, when it crashed into the sea with the new £15million signing and pilot David Ibbotson inside.


The French club released a heartfelt statement on Friday, confirming the decision to retire the shirt.

'FC Nantes had the immense sadness on Thursday to learn that the body found was that of Emiliano Sala. This news puts an end to interminable and unbearable waiting. Emiliano will forever be on the legends who has written the great history of FC Nantes.

'There are difficult mornings, nightmarish awakenings, where unhappily relity hits us. Emis is gone...

'Emiliano Sala arrived on the backs of the Edre in July 2015 and knew how to win the hearts of the Nantes supporters.

'With his work, his desire and his kindness without limits, he finished as the club's top scorer in his three seasons.

'Today, we have lost a friend, a talented player and an exemplaray team-mate.
