Three Nigerian Men, One Brazilian Lady Arrested In Mumbai For Cocaine Offenses

Four foreign nationals, who were allegedly carrying 6.492kg of cocaine, worth ₹38.95 crore, concealed in the rings stitched on curtains for it to pass through the rod, were arrested from Andheri (West) on Saturday. They have been remanded in police custody for seven days.

Police had got a tip-off that three Nigerian men and a Brazilian woman were carrying narcotics in their bags, but on intercepting them, they only found curtains in the bags.

“Our team grew suspicious on finding so many curtains,” said Manoj Kumar Sharma, additional commissioner of police, west region.


The team, headed by police inspector Daya Nayak, then started to check the curtains. On opening the rings, they found thin tubes containing white powder fitted around it. Each of the 78 curtains had eight rings carrying cocaine.

The police seized the substance and arrested the four accused – Niras Okhovo, 35, Simon Agobata, 32, Michael Hope, 29, and Brazilian national Karle Iris, 41 – who were on their way to meet a fifth accused, after which they were to send it via courier.

Police have also retrieved the machine which the accused used to roll the tubes.
A raid at the Koparkhairane residence of the accused led the police to multiple passports, but none of them is in their names.

“The fifth accused is absconding. We will arrest him soon. We are also tracking the courier companies that sent the consignments in the international market. We are enquiring whether they have any role in it or not,” said Nayak.

Shocking! 20-Year Old Undergraduate Masterminds Killing Of Her Estranged Boyfriend

Indeed its end time. A 20-year old girl??? Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Imo State Police Command have arrested a female undergraduate of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Chitere Okoronkwo, for allegedly killing her estranged boyfriend, Johnmark Osigwe.

The state Commissioner of Police, Dasuki Galadanchi, said the 20-year-old Okoronkwo was nabbed on Monday at Ama-Wire Urratta in the Owerri North Local Government Area of the state.

According to him, the undergraduate allegedly masterminded the killing of her estranged lover at Nkwo-Orji on August 8, 2018.

The CP said, “Chitere Okoronkwo, 20, of Umualumaku village in the Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, was arrested at Ama-Wire Uratta in Owerri, Imo State by SARS operatives on Monday.

“She was arrested in connection with the murder of one Johnmark Osigwe, 24, at Nkwo-Orji in Owerri on August 16, 2018. It is important to note that the deceased was a boyfriend to the suspect.

“When their relationship got sour and ended, the girl demanded compensation. The deceased, due to persistent threats to life before being assassinated, had paid N1.8m for shop rent and N2m for interior decoration of the shop to the estranged girlfriend.

“Not done with the threats, she demanded N3m, which the deceased gave through a lawyer. Before the money was finally paid to the lady, he was murdered inside his Mercedes SUV.

“After his death, the lady fled to South Africa. Okoronkwo has confessed that she told a guy that she wanted the victim dead due to their misunderstanding.”

Galadanchi said the suspect would be charged to court at the end of investigation.

I Will Probe $16bn Obasanjo Spent On Power Project, Says Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has vowed to probe the $16bn spent on failed power project by the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

He said his government would recover the money and expose those behind the scam.

President Buhari, who spoke on Tuesday in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, during the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign rally, said he was unrelenting in his pursuit of those who looted the nation’s resources.

The President, who landed at the government helipad, was received by the Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, before he proceeded to pay a courtesy call on the traditional rulers in the state.


Addressing the crowd, Buhari said his administration despite the daunting challenges had been able to curtail the security issues in the North-East while the economy was on the way to becoming self-reliant.

Although he did not mention Obasanjo, Buhari said, “The previous government mentioned on their own that they spent $16bn on power but you are better witnesses than myself. Where is the power? Where is the money? We will follow them, eventually God willing, we will catch them and get our money back.”

The Federal Government was reported to have spent N16bn on power projects between 1999 and 2007 when Obasanjo was in government.

Attacks On APC Rally Disrespect President’s Office - Bola Tinubu

An All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Senator Bola Tinubu, says the recent attack on the APC rally in Ogun was disrespectful to the office of the Nigerian President.

Tinubu lamented in a statement by his Special Adviser, Media, Mr Tunde Rahman on Tuesday in Lagos, that the attack could have potentially harmed the person of the President.

He was reacting to the APC rally in Ogun on Monday where some APC leaders were attacked.

”An incident did actually occur at the Ogun State APC rally, but it is not the one PDP has concocted.


”The true incident that should be reported and condemned is that people who oppose the party and the president tried to infiltrate and disrupt the rally.

”The attack by these operatives is disrespectful of the office of the president and could have potentially harmed the person of the president.

“Such antics have no place in our political discourse. The author of these misdeeds should desist before real harm is done.”

Tinubu said he had no plans of leaving the party as being insinuated by some reports based on a video clip from the Ogun rally. In the video, Tinubu was alleged to be seen throwing the party’s flag at the presidential rally.

He, however, accused the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of framing the video clip to mean that he was throwing away the party’s flag.

According to him, he remains ‘Gidigba’ (solid) in the governing party.

”If the issue of the flag has become the hotspot of the PDP campaign, then they are in serious trouble.

“During that portion of the Ogun rally, the National Chairman and others were looking for a party flag.

”I spotted one within my reach. I picked it up and attempted to toss it to the National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole so that the Chairman can present it to the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

“If you want to fault me for anything in this matter, your critique can only be limited to the accuracy of my toss.

“Any attempt to enlarge the episode beyond this is fiction and mischief writ large, ” he said

Court Remands Three Men For Inserting Pepper Into Lady’s Private Parts In Benin

An Edo State High Court has remanded three men in prison for inserting pepper into the private parts of one Favour Ada Friday.

The three suspects: Lucky Igbinovia, a.k.a. One Man Squad, head of vigilance group in Ugbiyoko community; Iyamu Kingsley and Joel Otoghile, who is the prime suspect, were arraigned on Monday following their arrest by the Police.

The accused were arraigned on a 14-count charge bordering on kidnapping, attempted murder, unlawful administration of a noxious substance into the private parts of Ada and unlawful trial by ordeal.


A video of the men carrying out jungle justice on their victim had gone viral on social media last week.

Ada was accused of stealing an iPhone worth, N44,000 and was tortured into confessing to the alleged offence.

Trouble started for Ada after Otoghile, who had just returned from Ghana with his wife, lodged at Lafun Hotel located at Ugbiyoko community in Egor Local Government Area of the state and later “organised ladies for his cousins”.

Ada was one of the ladies.

Ada and other ladies were leaving when Otoghile discovered that his iPhone was missing.

A native doctor, who is still at large, through some magic, fingered Ada as the culprit and within minutes, she had been stripped naked.

While she was being tortured, one of the accusers recorded the incident. The video was later uploaded on social media.

Peter Ugwumba, prosecuting counsel, prayed the court to remand the three pending advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

He said: “A native doctor, yet to be arrested, magically inserted two live bullets into the body of Ada, saying she would die if she refused to confess.”

Justice J. Acha ordered the remand of the three while adjourning the case till March 6, 2019.

He asked the prosecuting counsel to produce other culprits in the act, especially the native doctor.

Married Woman In Big Mess As Lover Dies After S*x In Lagos Hotel

The mess of adultery. A 57-year-old man, said to be married to two wives himself, has died after an alleged s*x romp with a married woman in a Lagos hotel.

It was gathered that man had gone to the Ace Bar in the Akoka area of Yaba, Lagos, with his married lover on Sunday. Around 7pm, the woman called for help after him reportedly slumped.

A source, who preferred not to be named, said by the time the man was taken to the hospital, he was confirmed dead.

The source said, “The incident happened around 7pm on Sunday. The man came in with the woman. After some time, she called for help saying that the man had slumped. As soon as the hotel management was alerted to the incident, the man was taken to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.

“Immediately the man was confirmed dead, his corpse was taken to the police station in a taxi together with the woman, and the case was reported. It was from there that the police took over the case and the body was deposited in the morgue for autopsy.”

A resident of the area, who spoke to The Punch on condition of anonymity, however, said the mistress was also married and a nursing mother.

“The woman is a seamstress at the Sabo Market. She left her six-month-old baby to meet the man after church service on Sunday. Her husband had been warning the man to leave his wife alone, all to no avail, and her husband had to bring the child to her at the police station after she was arrested.

“The man also had two wives and one of his daughters got married last year. He was a retiree and had just received his pension.

“The news going round is that after the s*x romp, he took two bottles of water and while he was taking his bath, he slumped and foamy substances came out of his mouth. It is hard to tell if he died of cardiac arrest or due to unnatural circumstances,” the source added.

When the correspondent visited the bar, efforts to speak with the manager proved abortive. The attendant claimed that the manager was not available and she refused to put a call through to him.

When the state Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti, was contacted, he said investigation into the incident was ongoing.

“I can confirm that there was a case of sudden and unnatural death that was reported. We are investigating the case. The Commissioner of Police has directed the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation Intelligence Department, Panti, to look into the matter and come up with its findings,” Oti stated.

Police Gun Down Two Robbers In Delta State [Pics]

Security operatives have gunned down two armed robbers following an operation in Delta State.

It was gathered that the hoodlums about seven in number, attacked some residents in Oghara, Ethiope West Local Government Area and were about to steal a Toyota Venza car before vigilante men showed up and shot one of them dead as the rest took to their heels.

The police took the corpse of the slain robber to the station.

According to reports, his gang members not knowing their colleague has been killed, continued to call his phone repeatedly. A policeman at the station picked the call and pretended to be the robber who was gunned down in a bid to lure them out.


One of the robbers with a black mask and cap, was said to have been controlled to another location where he thought he was meeting with his gang member. On getting there, he was shot dead after running into policemen who were waiting for him.

The corpses of the robbers were taken to the police station in Oghara as seen above.

Cops In Welfare Check on Chris Brown After Posting Address in Offset Bee

Chris Brown got a knock on the door from cops because someone's worried he's losing his mind after he challenged Offset to show up at his home and revealed his address.

Law enforcement sources say someone called LAPD saying they were scared and concerned for Chris' well-being.

Kim Kardashian West launched her popular Kimojis with the help of an app developer, who says she left him high and dry and screwed him out of serious cash. As in 9 figures!

David Liebensohn claims he and his business partners created an app called CensorOut that caught the attention of Kim, and they eventually agreed to team up on Kimojis ... the animated emojis and GIFs of the Kardashian clan.

According to documents, Kim agreed to cut Liebensohn and his partners in for 60 percent, and they agreed on a deal in 2014.

He claims Kim insisted she would file the trademark paperwork for "Kimoji" to cover the cost and make things simple, but they were in it together.


That's when it gets weird. In his lawsuit, Liebensohn says in August 2014, right around when Kim filed for the trademark, she informed him one of his partners had shared some of her personal information, so she was backing out of their deal.

Liebensohn claims Kim and co. lawyered up and tried to pressure him into dropping the case, but he refused. He also says Kim already knew about the alleged sharing of her personal info before they struck a deal and simply used it as an excuse to cancel it.

He's suing Kim for at least $100 mil for breach of contract, fraud and for the profits he believes he's lost by being left out of the Kimoji biz.

King Cake Baby Creator Suing Movie Producers For Using A Character That Looks Like His!

The guy who created that freaky King Cake Baby character, the New Orleans Pelicans mascot claims the movie "Happy Death Day" jacked his freaky face and now he's suing to get revenge.

The man behind the suit is Jonathan Bertuccelli -- an artist who created the intentionally weird looking mascot back in 2009. It's been seen everywhere from NBA games to Mardi Gras and even "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

In his suit, Bertuccelli claims he was shocked when he saw the killer in the movie "Happy Death Day" and the upcoming sequel "Happy Death Day 2U" wore a mask that looked just like his KCB mask.


Bertuccelli says NO ONE involved in the movie ever called him up to ask for permission or even credited him and he's pissed at Universal City Studios, Blumhouse Productions and everyone else attached to the film.

"A side-by-side comparison of KCB and Happy Death Day mask clearly shows that the visual attributes and aspects which have made KCB a celebrity mascot were copied and so substantially similar that the two are seen to be the same."

Bertuccelli also cites numerous people on social media who pointed out the similarity over the past few months.

So, what does he want?? Money. Lots of money.

In fact, Bertuccelli believes the movie has made more than $200 MILLION in revenue and he feels entitled to at least 50% of the profits.

He also wants a judge to grant an injunction prohibiting the movie producers from using the mask until both sides can work out a deal.

Robbers Attack Studio Where Rich The Kid, Usher Were Recording...

Rich the Kid and his entourage came under attack Tuesday afternoon at a famous West Hollywood studio, where Usher was also recording.

Multiple shots were fired - possibly as many as 10 - during the incident at Westlake Recording Studio according to eyewitnesses.

The man who opened fire was running away from the studio when he started shooting behind him.

Law enforcement sources say Usher was in the studio, but not hurt.


Rich was outside when it all went down, and it appears he was the target of the robbery. Multiple entourage members were also attacked, and at least one bodyguard was badly pistol whipped.

L.A. County Sheriff's deputies later swarmed the studio and surrounded the vicinity searching for suspects and collecting evidence.

It's unclear if anyone was hit when the shots were fired, but the suspect or suspects made off with a ton of cash and jewelry.

Usher was later seen leaving the studio UNHURT.

Mystikal Out Of Prison After Managing To Meet $3 Million Bond

Mystikal's getting a taste of freedom after spending 18 months behind bars on r-pe charges.

Mystikal's attorneys say the rapper was able to scrape together $3 million for the bond, securing his release from a Louisiana prison.

It’s said the money came from an advance for a new recording deal, and funds raised by Mystikal's family and friend.

Mystikal had been behind bars since August 2017 when he was booked for first-degree r-pe and second-degree kidnapping.


Mystikal's attorney, Tim Yazbeck, says, "It's been a long time coming for Mike, but now he can get back to being the artist he is, doing what he loves, and seeing his kids again."

The rapper's now free until his pending trial in May.

Chyna, who shares Dream, two, with Rob and son King Cairo, six, with Tyga, also targeted her mother Tokyo Toni, who recently claimed Rob should have sole custody of Dream because the star's personal life is on a 'downward spiral.' 

'F**k Toni, f**k Tyga, f**k Rob, f**k everybody else. I never asked Tyga for child support, Rob for child support, whatever, and then we just went to court,' she said in her rant.


'I try to squash s**t, which I did, but none of that comes out. It's only negative s**t with Chyna… I never wanted no money from Rob because it was never about that. Period,' she said.

'I came from the strip club, my momma was a stripper, my daddy, I didn't know him.

I Will Start Restructuring Nigeria Immediately I Become President - Atiku Assures

Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 elections has re-affirmed his commitment to restructuring the country if elected President this Saturday.

Atiku gave the assurance while addressing thousands of party faithful at a presidential rally at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Atiku, who was accompanied by his running mate, Peter Obi, and other leaders of the party, said “If you (masses) elect PDP and Atiku into office; I will restructure Niger Delta and all other parts of the country. We must restructure the country.

“Secondly, after the Obasanjo/Atiku administration started the East West highway project; till today it has not been completed.

“It has not been completed because we did not vote PDP to continue in power in 2015. The project has been haunted till today. We are going to complete it, if voted into power,” he assured.

He said his administration would complete the dredging of old Port Harcourt and Onne sea ports if he wins the February 16 presidential polls.

According to him, Rivers state, Niger Delta and South-South had been abandoned by the administration since 2015, notwithstanding being the economic hub of the country.

“Every development that the people of South-South, Niger Delta and Rivers have gotten was done by PDP-led governments. The roads, schools, hospitals and water, among others were provided by PDP.

“I assure you that I will protect the constitution, protect separation of powers and will not interfere with the National Assembly and Judiciary because I believe in checks and balances.

“My administration will uphold rule of law and will never allow the rule of law to be trampled by anybody,” he promised.

Also speaking, former President Goodluck Jonathan called on the people of the state to come out enmass to vote PDP at all levels.

He said nepotism, divisiveness, discrimination, factionalism, favouritism, sectionalism and killings had now become prevalent in the country.

“All of us know that things that had never been happening in this country have been happening since 2015. Nigerians can attest if the country has gone forward, backward or static.

“We cannot as a nation continue to stay where we currently are. We believe the only person out of the candidates who can lead us out if this quagmire is Atiku.

“If your son or daughter is qualified to become Inspector-General of Police and Chief of Army Staff, he or she will be appointed. No one will be discriminated. Atiku will lead Nigeria forward,” he said.

Senate President and Director-General of Atiku Presidential Campaign, Bukola Saraki, said Atiku has experience to take the country to greater heights. He said poverty and unemployment had reached an all-time high never seen in the country since its independence in 1960.

“There is poverty in the land and Nigerians are tired of poverty. The people want a man who can bring economic prosperity and that man is Atiku,” he said.

On his part, PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, assured the people of victory at the polls.

He expressed optimism that Atiku would win the North Western states of Jigawa, Kebbi, Kaduna, Kano, Sokoto and Zamfara.

“If you want a president that will work for 24 hours daily, a president with capacity and energy and a president who will be in charge and take responsibility, then vote Atiku."

Notorious Guys Invade House In Lagos, Rob Married Woman Of Her Panties

Two bus conductors, Peter Ayodele, 20; and Chibuzor David, 21, were arraigned in Lagos on Tuesday for allegedly stealing three underwear belonging to a housewife.

“The defendants unlawfully entered the complainant, one Mrs. Kehinde Oladimeji's house in the night while she was sleeping and stole three of her panties. But luck ran out against them as they were caught by a team of policemen on patrol.

“When they were asked of their mission at the time of the night and could not give a satisfactory answer, they were searched and three female underwear were found on them.

“Ayodele told the Police where they stole the underwear from and when the scene of the theft was visited by the Police, the complainant confirmed that the panties were her own," the prosecutor said.

Ayodele, a resident of Oshodi; and David, who lives in Ejigbo, Lagos, were charged with two counts of conspiracy and stealing before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court.

NAN reports that while Ayodele pleaded guilty to the offences, David pleaded not guilty.

The Magistrate, Mrs. M.O. Tanimola, ordered that Ayodele be remanded in Kirikiri Prisons pending review of the facts of the case and sentencing; while David was granted N80,000 bail with two sureties in like sum.

The case was adjourned until March 4, for continuation.

Stoning Of APC Leaders: Party Vows To Punish Gov. Amosun

The All Progressives Congress has vowed to punish the Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, for allegedly hiring thugs that attacked President Muhammadu Buhari and party leaders at Monday’s campaign rally of the party in Abeokuta.

Expressing regrets at the disruption of the campaign,

the APC National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, in a statement on Tuesday said that those responsible for the “premeditated attacks” would be dealt with. The party however said the sanction would be delayed till after the elections.

APC said, “The All Progressives Congress (APC) regrets Monday’s premeditated attacks sponsored by Governor Ibikunle Amosun on President Muhammadu Buhari and other senior party leaders at the venue of the presidential campaign rally in Ogun State.

“This is one act of indiscipline too many. The APC will not condone acts of indiscipline, indiscretion, and anti-party activities from any party member no matter how highly placed.

“The party will review this gross misconduct of deliberately positioning thugs to attack and embarrass the President and the party’s leadership. The party will take a decision on this matter immediately after the elections.

“It must be stated that party supremacy and discipline according to our constitution are not matters of choice but binding principles which must be adhered to by all party members.

“The APC is a party known for discipline, justice, fairness, and equality hence any plan to destroy what this party stands for would be rejected. No single person will be allowed to put his personal and selfish interests ahead of the wishes of the people of Ogun State and elsewhere.”

The APC said the decision of the National Working Committee on post-primaries remained unbendable.

“Post primaries, the decision of the National Working Committee to uphold the wishes of party members is unbendable. Therefore, whatever means being presently deployed by persons intending to undermine the wishes of the people for personal gains will not be tolerated.

“We urge our teeming party supporters and members not to be disturbed by Monday’s condemnable incident. We urge all to continue trooping out en masse for our remaining campaigns and vote massively for all and only APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections,” the statement added.

INEC Card Readers Gutted By Fire As Officials Flee

There is worry in the land. What is responsible for fire incidences at INEC facilities in parts of the country all in less than two weeks? A container carrying card readers of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Anambra state, was on Tuesday gutted by fire.

The INEC officials accompanying the card readers took to their heels as the fire raged.

Fire fighters could be seen from the pictures of the incident, trying to put out the fire. INEC leadership said they believe a thorough investigation will shed more light on the latest incident.
