Election Results Are Being Tampered With - US Congressman Warns Nigerian Officials

Chris Smith, a ranking member of the US House Subcommittee on Africa, has alleged that votes are being tampered with in the ongoing Nigerian elections. In a message posted on the US house website, Chris Smith is quoted thus;

“Yesterday, Nigeria voted. Today, votes are being counted...
I am very concerned by credible reports that the vote is being tampered with. To avoid any manipulation of the tally, it is critical that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announce without delay actual results — which are certified by party agents and observers — at each polling unit as the vote is tabulated.

Well-placed sources report that in some states and localities — including Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Imo, Abia — INEC commissioners are receiving enormous pressure to alter poll results. This must not be allowed to happen.
“The eyes of the United States, of Africa, and the world are upon Nigeria and INEC. I also ask Secretary Michael Pompeo to hold accountable anyone who seeks to cheat the Nigerian people — who have waited patiently — of their vote or foments violence.”

The leading opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) earlier accused the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and elements of the Buhari Presidency of planning to rig the elections at all cost.

"I Only Had S*x With Her 3 Times" - Man Who Defiled Wife’s Sister In Lagos

The Police have arrested an Islamic cleric for allegedly defiling a six-year-old girl in his single room apartment at Bariga area of Lagos. The suspect, AbdulLateef Mustapha (38), was said to have lured the girl into his room when his wife had travelled out of the state for a function.

The incident occurred on February 16 at Mojoyinola Street, Bariga. After the cleric had carnal knowledge of the girl, she told an elderly woman in their compound what her sister’s husband did to her. The woman then raised the alarm and brought it to the attention of a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Child Protection Network.

The Coordinator of Child Protection Network, Somolu Branch, Mr. Toyin Okanlawon, said immediately the information got to the organisation’s notice, the officials moved swiftly and the matter was reported to the police who then arrested Mustapha the following day. He said: “Initially, when the suspect was arrested by policemen from Bariga Division, he denied the allegation.

"He said how can he sleep with her wife’s cousin? But when the girl was brought before him, it was then he opened up that he only slept with her thrice.

“When the girl was taken to the hospital, it was confirmed she was defiled and she had also being infected with S*xually Transmitted Disease (STD) and her bladder had been ruptured which made her to be bedwetting whenever she sleeps.”

Some of the friends of the Islamic cleric berated him but were said to have pleaded with the DPO to pardon him.

His wife also reportedly begged for mercy, saying that they would go home and resolve it amicably. But the DPO was said to have told the suspect’s wife and friends that there was nothing he could do. According to the DPO, the matter is a state case which no one should toy with.

The matter has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba, for further investigation.

Security Forces Arrive Bayelsa After Police Commissioner Is Held Hostage

Security operatives have arrived Twon Brass local government area of the Bayelsa after a Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Kola Okunola, was taken hostage by political thugs in the area.

The police boss was accused by the All Progressives Congress (APC) of collaborating with some politicians to snatch electoral materials and falsify results in favor of the People Democratic Party (PDP).

But the PDP have claimed that the youths who humiliated the deputy police commissioner publicly are thugs suspected to be loyal to a former Governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva and the member representing Brass Constituency 1 in the Bayelsa State House òf Assembly, Israel Sunny-Goli.

The Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Kemela Okara, said that the thugs led by Sunny-Goli and backed by the military were mounting pressure on the Deputy Commissioner of Police to accept fake results from Brass. He added that the DCP’s refusal to sign the fake result caused a disagreement between the police officer and a Major in the Nigerian Army and his men.

How Offa Robbery Was Used To Blackmail, Defeat Saraki

The strong man of Kwara politics has suffered a shocking defeat. Former governor of Kwara state and two-time PDP presidential aspirant, Senate President Bukola Saraki’s defeat is the biggest news so far in the 2019 general election.

Here's one major factor that may have affected Saraki;

OFFA ROBBERY SAGA
On April 5, 2018, armed robbers attacked banks in Offa, Kwara state, killing 33 people, including pregnant women and 12 police officers. It later emerged that some of the suspects had links to Saraki and the Kwara state government. This created a major PR disaster for Saraki as he became publicly involved in a spat with the police hierarchy.

Saraki did all he could to distance himself from the Offa saga, but the APC with the machinery of government forces kept pushing the narrative that Saraki has link with the robbers, thereby hurting him badly in the state's political configuration.

Mel B & Piers Morgan Tear Lady Gaga Apart For Going Very Intimate With Bradley On Stage Last Night

Is it their stage? Lol. Mel B claims Lady Gaga broke the "women's code" for her sensual and intimate performance with Bradley Cooper at last night's Oscars - right in front of his 'jealous' girlfriend, Irina Shayk.

Bradley and Gaga set tongues wagging with their live rendition of Shallow from their film A Star Is Born when in front of millions of viewers they put on a steamy and loved-up display up on stage.

Bradley gazed longingly at Gaga as she belted out the lyrics at the piano, before walking across the stage and sitting down next to her, wrapping his arm around her waist and joining in on the final chorus.

All the while this was going on, Bradley's Victoria's Secret model partner Irina was watching on from the front row - no doubt with a stone-cold grimace on her face.

And the Bradley/Gaga rumours were picked up on today's Good Morning Britain, with both Mel B and Piers Morgan slamming the pair for their cringey display.

"When we watched the end, when they come together..." Piers said to Mel, as she put her head in her hands.

"See, I felt so uncomfortable for Bradley's girlfriend, oh my gosh," she shouted.

"It was the look of love, wasn't it?" Piers pointed out.

"It really was and that's the whole gossip. That's the whole thing," Mel agonised.

Vinny Jones, who was guest appearing on GMB alongside Mel and Perez Hilton, quipped: "The model or the singer."

"Stop it!" Mel cried out.

Piers went on: "Lady Gaga taking her engagement ring off - she just broke off from her fiance  and if you put the maths together, you have engagement ring off, and then staring at Bradley Cooper in a way that I would say crosses a few lines."

"But I would like to think it was part of the whole performance, because there's a women's code and hopefully that's not... hopefully it's only professional," Mel added before trailing off.

Mel wasn't the only one to notice sparks between Bradley and Gaga during their performance.

Irina, who has been dating Bradley since 2015, had placed herself in between the co-stars earlier on in the ceremony, sparking speculation she didn't want them sitting together.

The Russian model was seen sitting firmly next to Gaga while Bradley sat on her other side, using her body as a physical barricade between the pair.
