Okorocha Cries Out: I Have Lost Faith In Nigeria's Democracy

Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has dismissed the governorship/state Assembly election in the state as a mockery of democracy, saying  he has lost confidence in the nation’s democracy.

Say What? Doctor Arrested For Mastu-rbating While Checking Woman's Private Part

Self discipline is not something to be taken for granted. A doctor identified as Ezequiel Fernández Bugin, has been arrested for allegedly mastur-bating while checking his patient's private part during an ultrasound session. 

The 33-year-old doctor has been charged with s*xual abuse.

He was taken into custody at the Canning Medical Center in the Argentine province of Buenos Aires. Hiss arrest came after the lady who was visiting the medical diagnostic imaging center in the town of Canning, noticed him making some strange movements.

The lady who also underwent a kidney exam, said the doctor was mastur-bating when she turned around and further realized that he had ejaculated on her back. The doctor was arrested after 911 was called in, and it was further gathered that the lady whose name was withheld by authorities turned in her clothes for further investigation.

Okorocha was declared winner of the Imo West senatorial election. The presiding officer, however, said he was forced to make the declaration under duress. It is based on that that INEC removed his name from the elected senators’ list and said it is reviewing the situation.

JAMB Reschedules 2019 UTME To April 11

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation has rescheduled the conduct of 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation examination (UTME) to 11th April.

The board also fixed 1st April for the conduct of its mock examination earlier scheduled for Saturday, 23rd March.

JAMB’s Head of Media, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in a statement. The statement directed candidates to begin the printing of their UTME notification slips from 2nd April. It stated that candidates can print the slips in any part of the country.

Italy Outraged As Court Finds Victim Too Ugly To Be R*ped

Italy’s Justice Ministry has ordered a preliminary inquiry into an appeals court’s ruling that overturned a r-pe verdict by arguing in part that the woman who was attacked was too ugly to be a credible r-pe victim.

The ruling has sparked outrage in Italy, prompting a flash mob Monday outside the Ancona court, where protesters shouted, “Shame!” and held up signs reading, “Indignation.”

The appeals sentence was handed down in 2017 — by an all-female panel — but the reasons behind it only emerged publicly when Italy’s high court annulled it on March 5 and ordered a retrial.

The Court of Cassation said Wednesday that its own reasons for ordering the retrial will be issued next month.

EFCC Arraigns Suspected Internet Fraudster In Kwara

Economic and Financial Crime Commission ( EFCC ) yesterday arraigned one Ajayi Temitope Charles in a Kwara state High Court sitting in Ilorin, the state capital for alleged internet fraud.

EFCC arraigned the suspect on a five count charge.

The accused person, who pleaded not guilty to all the charges preferred against him, was allegedly caught with document in his possession with intent to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.


In the first count against the accused person, who is also known as Teresa Simon, it was said that, on February 28, 2019 in Ilorin, he had in his possession document in his gmail account containing false
pretence in his gmail account, with intent to defraud, and thereby committed an offence contrary to sections 6, and 8 (b) of the Advance Fee Fraud and other related offences.

It was also said that the accused person in the second and third count had in his possession document titled, Hangout with Rodney Dean, and Hangout with Paul Thompson, respectively, adding that he printed out the document from his gmail account.

Temitope Charles said in his statement that the male adult finder site on his system was meant to appear as woman to find friends and nothing more.

The presiding judge, Justice M. Abdulgafar refused to grant the accused person bail, directing that he should be remanded in prison custody.

He then adjourned the matter till March 21, 2019 for further hearing.

Photos: Man Arrested For Throwing Away Eight Puppies In Garbage Bag

A Wisconsin man was arrested for allegedly throwing away eight puppies in a garbage bag.

Robert Wild, 56, was taken into custody after the Marshfield Police Department found the newborn pups in a trashcan on Feb. 28, the department wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

Authorities received a call about “the sound of kittens coming from a garbage can.” But when investigators arrived at the scene, they discovered that “the sound was coming from 8 newborn puppies which had been discarded in a garbage bag and trash can.”

The puppies were rescued and transported to the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter. Police said that Wild admitted to “discarding the puppies.”


The animals “are safe and in foster care,” but will not be up for adoption until they “grow up big and strong first,” the shelter said.

Police wrote that the department requested the Wood County District Attorney’s Office file misdemeanor charges for the mistreatment and abandonment of animals against Wild.

Did Nicki Minaj get married? On the newest episode of her Beats1 show Queen Radio on Apple Music, Minaj, 36, referred to her new man, convicted sex offender Kenneth Petty, as her “husband.”

“Every night when I get out of the shower, my husband takes this really good lotion that we just bought, and he massages my feet, and rubs them, and he rubs each toe individually, and the heel, and the ball of my foot, and he does it all,” Minaj said on the show, which was recorded from London ahead of her March 14 concert in Birmingham.

It is not immediately clear if Minaj is actually married or is just using the term loosely.

Family Loses Five Members In Sunday's Ethiopian Airlines Crash

A week before Carol Karanja boarded the ill-fated Ethiopian Airlines flight that crashed Sunday on its way to Kenya, she sent a message to her sister, saying she had an uneasy feeling.

"My heart isn't really excited. I feel like there's something bad ahead, but I don't know what," the WhatsApp message read.

Karanja was traveling from Canada to Kenya with her three children and her mother. She was so worried about the trip, she sent a similar message expressing her fear of the impending journey to her father before she boarded the flight.


Thousands of miles away in Kenya, worried about her older sister's premonition, Kelly Karanja asked her the exact day she'd arrive and told her to pray about it.

"10th. Will let you know the time," Carol Karanja messaged.

Carol Karanja never made it to their Kenyan homeland. She was among the 157 people killed when the plane crashed just minutes after takeoff from Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa.  Also killed was her mother, Ann Wangui Karanja, and her three children: Ryan Njoroge, 7, Kellie Pauls, 4, and 9-month-old daughter, Rubi Pauls.

Rubi was born in Ontario, where the family lived. She was going home for the first time to meet her Kenyan family.

How I Almost Committed Suicide Eight Years Ago - Samuel Olatunji

Samuel Olatunji,  a Public Relations expert, popularly known has Big Sam has explained how he almost took his own life 8 years ago, when everything was down for him. According to Sam, he started a business, business didn't do well, he restrategized, still didn't work, got broke, couldn't pay salaries and it was like Heaven was closed against him. Today he is saying a different story and encouraging all to wait! There's a miracle by the corner.

Writing on Facebook he said;

''I Almost Committed Suicide

About eight years ago, I never used to get broke. The least I would have per time would be 100k (when Im broke). I moved to a bigger office and started to dream of conquering more territories. But life had other plans. Life started happening to me. All of a sudden, I started getting broke to the point of not having N1000. Business started dying, my so beautiful life began to witness the ugly side of it. I was flummoxed, scared, and tired.

I initially thought I got my planning wrong, I replanned, restrategize and read all the books I could.

Let me not forget the many days of fasting, I prayed. Perhaps I had sinned. I stayed away from sins and friends that could lead me into temptation. I worshipped and did all spiritual works, yet things were the same.

I started failing in meeting my basic obligations, started owing salary and was owing two banks. It was as if all elements of life combined to deal with me. Heaven was shut. I became lost. People that ought to understand became rumour mongers. I was down and out.

My life became a hot mess. I could not even pray anymore, my heavy heart couldn't put words together. Everything was static. I wanted peace yet chaos was all I had.

One Sunday morning as I was preparing to go to church, I thought suicide would be a better option. Thought ending it all would be better. I will at least have some measure of peace, the peace I desperately wanted.

Somehow, I didn't follow through with the plan to kill myself. I made some major decisions and let God play his role as God. I left the office and worked day and night. God came through as usual. I have gone on to handle PR for major events and celebrities, manage special talents and two movies I executive produced (The Ghost and The Tout (co-owned) and Seven and a Half Dates were part of top 20 box office hits of 2018). If I had killed myself. Many dreams would have died. There would be no new chapter to write.

Please don't let life or the devil win. Keep working on your life. This is a phase of life, it will pass. Don't commit that suicide, give yourself a second chance. Like phoenix, you will rise from your ashes. Good morning. Bigsam''
