Battle In Crisis Over Tinubu's Plan To Contest For President With Buhari's SGF?

Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), may not have bargained for the kind of bitter fight he is enmeshed in, following his support for Jibrilla Bindow, Governor of Adamawa State, in the recently concluded elections.

The SGF, SR gathered, is currently battling a intrigues weaved together to end his political career for daring to cross paths with pro-Buhari interest groups within the Adamawa political sphere in order to boost his prospects of becoming Bola Tinubu's running mate for the 2023 presidential election.

If nothing, it is explicit for now that his alleged succession pact with Bindow, with a due date in 2023, is now a mirage, owing to a synergy that forced Bindow out in a landmark governorship election loss after just a single term.

Historically, in Adamawa State, every governor has secured a second term in office, Bindow being the only exception.

In this fight, SGF Mustapha is the man in the eye of the storm, for aiding Bindow to pocket the All Progressives Congress (APC) structure and subsequently snatch the governorship ticket to the dismay of many chieftains.

Former Governor Murtala Nyako, former SGF Babachir Lawal, Former EFCC Chairman Nuhu Ribadu, Forma Lagos and Borno Military Governor Mohammed Buba Marwa, Dr. Mahmood Halilu Modi, senators Aziz Nyako and Mohammed Mo-Allahyidi are some of the notable names behind a strong synergy that sent Bindow packing in the last governorship election.

To these political Juggernauts, Bindow's first term was characterised by gross incapacity, as such they couldn't fathom why a man of Mustapha's pedigree would want to be associated with him.

They also blamed APC's poor outing in Adamawa in the last general elections to Bindow's abysmal performance and nonchalant attitude to state issues and party matters.

But the pro-Buhari groups' other grouse against Bindow dates back to President Muhammadu Buhari's 104 days of medical vacation in the United Kingdom (UK).

It was gathered that Bindow was one of those who lobbied to deputise for Professor Yemi Osinbajo, allegedly hoping that Buhari would be ferried back home in a body-bag.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, as a prominent Yoruba leader who wielded considerable influence on Buhari's government then, was conscripted to prevail on Osinbajo if the need arose.

Obasanjo, as gathered, agreed to the plan, seeing a sitting Vice President of Adamawa extraction would technically whittle down Atiku Abubakar's hold on Adamawa politics and probably discourage him from running in 2019. But all that was not to be, Buhari came back hale and hearty.

Babachir, like President Buhari, had taunted those who wished his principal dead at different fora. "In fact, some of them wished him dead, but I can assure you that by the grace of God, Buhari will outlive them,” he once said.

Now that Bindow is out of the way and the succession contract nullified naturally, Boss Mustapha, cashing in on his value as the most prominent northern Christian politician of APC stock, is aspiring to clinch a running mate ticket in a Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidential project. This explains how and why Buhari's henchmen have initiated the move to truncate the APC zoning formula.

In a move widely seen as testing the waters, Babachir recently came out to say "nothing in the law mandates the ceding of power” to Tinubu's southwest. Other steps to follow involve drafting the next cabinet with Buba Marwa or any other person, but not Mustapha as the SGF, all to be sure Mustapha is cut to size ahead of time.

There is also the plan to reorganize the Adamawa APC structure. Accordingly, all those alleged to have been hand-picked by Bindow and Mustapha in the last congresses would be weeded out.

The proponents of this reorganisation have predicted bleak future for the APC under its current handlers in Adamawa State. To them, the party's chances cannot be guaranteed in future outings, if its structures are left in the firm grip of Bindow and Mustapha.

According to SR, with Aisha Buhari, wife of the President, recently adding her voice against the Bindow-Mustapha tango, it is only a matter time before the SGF would be off the stage.

I Fear For The Future Of Nigeria In 2023 - Sultan Of Sokoto

The Sultan of Sokoto and President General Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) Sa’ad Abubakar, has disclosed that he fears for the future of Nigeria in 2023 as the signs are already there. The monarch who spoke during the weekend at the 2019 General Assembly of the Da’awah Coordination Council of Nigeria (DCCN) held at the Sultan Palace, Sokoto, expressed worry that Nigerians has become more divided politically ahead of the next general elections in 2023.

The Sultan of Sokoto added that the 2019 elections witnessed a very disturbing trend with religious leaders who ought to be neutral, openly pitching tent with candidates.

"If Nigeria has these troubles in 2019 then, I have my fears over 2023. The signs are already on ground. Brothers no longer talk to each other. Friends are now divided in a very terrible way because they have been insulting one another before the election. Neighbours now hate each other because they belong to different political parties.

“We that are religious leaders, have to be careful of what we tell our followers because most of them are not educated and will take whatever you say as true. I have been an observer of the election over the years and have never declared support for any candidate. As a religious leader, I have never asked Imams or Muslims preachers to preach against anybody or in support of any as well,” he asserted.

Falana Blows Hot: How Did We Lose $60bn Oil Money?

Femi Falana, human rights lawyer, has written a letter to Ibe Kachikwu, minister of state for petroleum resources, demanding information on the “loss of $60 billion oil revenue under the freedom of information (FOI) act.”

In the letter dated April 10, the human rights lawyer requested Kachikwu to provide details on how Nigeria lost $60 billion oil revenue from non-implementation of production sharing contract (PSC) terms between the federal government and international oil companies (IOCs).

Falana also disclosed that he had previously alerted the minister, who was then the group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, of the non-implementation of the PSC terms.

The PSC terms between government and IOCs clearly spell out the amount of money that the country receives in signature bonuses, taxes and royalties and how much oil or gas the companies must share with the government during production and contributes largely to government revenue.

Giving more reasons for his request, Falana said even Kachikwu himself had confirmed the huge oil revenue loss, blaming it on “public officials,” with a more recent confirmation made by the acting chairman of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission.

The human rights lawyer gave the minister a seven-day ultimatum to provide the requested information, saying that he will be forced to seek a court order if Kachikwu fails to do so.

The letter sent to TheCable, read in part: “In my letter addressed to you in your capacity as the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), I called your attention to the refusal of the regulatory agencies in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources to enforce the Production Sharing Contracts signed with the International Oil Companies by the Federal government.

“In a public statement credited to you sometime in August 2017, you did disclose to the media that Nigeria had lost not less than $60 Billion due to the refusal of some public officials to implement the terms of the Production Sharing Contracts between the Federal Government and the International Oil Companies.

“In another public statement made on January 19, 2019 by the Acting Chairman of the Revenue, Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Mr. Shetima Bana confirmed the loss of oil revenue of $60 billion arising from the non-implementation of the said production sharing contracts.

“In view of the foregoing, I am compelled to request you to furnish me with information on the revenue of $60 billion which the Federal government has refused to collect from the International Oil Companies as at August 2017. As this request is made pursuant to section the provision of the Freedom of Information Act you are required to supply the requested information not later than 7 days from the date of the receipt of this letter.

“TAKE NOTICE that if you fail or refuse to accede to my request, I shall be compelled to apply to the Federal High Court to direct you to avail me with the information on the loss of the oil revenue of $60 billion.”

KACHIKWU RESPONDS
Responding to Falana, a letter signed by Oge Modie, chief of staff of the petroleum ministry, acknowledged receipt of the FOI request on April 11.

“On behalf of the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, this is to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated 10th April, 2019 and received 11th April, 2019 on the above subject matter,” the letter read.

My Mum Has A HUGE Influence Over My Life, Adaeze Yobo Admits In New Interview

Oh well! Mum like Adaeze’s mom, lol. In this interview with The Sun, Adaeze speaks about her mom and how she practically made her dreams come true, and has been a huge influence on her. Read...

Please tell us about your mum.

My mum’s name is Abigail Igwe. She lives and works in Abuja. She’s a lawyer, a businesswoman and also has interest in politics. But ultimately, she’s a philanthropist. She has a foundation, De Zionist Elders Foundation, which she established five years ago before my sister and I joined her.
The foundation is so close to her heart. She is presently constructing a home for the elderly in Anambra State. She has loved to help old people. When she started she used to go to the suburb, to share relief materials to them.

You were a beauty queen. What role did your mum play in all that?

My mum literally pushed me. It was something that I had always wanted to do as a child but at some point after secondary school, during the transition from secondary school to the university, I spent one year at home and added weight and lost interest in my dream of becoming a beauty queen. My mum knowing that it was what I wanted to do from childhood saw the advert on TV and asked me to go for it. But I felt discouraged by the fact that I had added weight. My mum went ahead and got me a trainer and I started jogging every morning on the street in Abuja to lose weight. She motivated me back into my dream. She took me in the hand and was there for me all the way to my winning the crown. When I want to give up in the camp, when other girls were discussing who would win and all that, I would call my mum and she kept talking to me. She spoke words of encouragement every time I called her, saying that I would make it, that I was the best, and had what it would take to succeed. At a point, it was only my mum’s voice I was hearing all through the camping and during the contest till I won the pageant.

You look good and like good things. Did you take that from your mum?

Yes. My mum has a huge influence in every area of my life. My spiritual life, fashion sense and everything. She has been like my best friend. Growing up, it was just her that I knew. From the way she took care of herself, the hygiene, her obsession for washing of hands regularly, her hair and makeup. When I was younger, I even made fun of her about some of the things she did, in terms of fashion and hygiene, but now I have realised I’m doing all that without even knowing. I have taken to her fashion and beauty sense. I would say she has a great influence on that aspect of my life.

You married early, before 23, shortly after winning the MBGN pageant and completing your reign as queen. How did she feel?

I got married at 20. My mum’s concern was that I had to finish schooling. When I met my husband I told her immediately. When I got pregnant I found it difficult to tell her, thinking I had let her down but she got over it and supported me all through. I didn’t believe it would be that easy for her to support me knowing that I didn’t finish my school before I went into marriage and that was my mum’s ultimate dream for me. She wanted the best for me. In fact, she was the one that did the decorations and she danced and danced on my wedding day. She was so happy.

When you achieved her dream as per your education, how did she feel?

She also encouraged me to start my university education in Turkey after I had my first son. I was confused at first because of the language barrier but she kept insisting that I should find a school there where English is used to teach the students. She added that I would feel good, would be able to tackle challenges of the world more and also feel more confident as a graduate.

Which of her favourite dishes did you eat while growing up, and which you still love till today?

Growing up, the food that I liked a lot was her oha soup. It became my favourite soup. But oha soup wasn’t her favourite soup. She cooked it for us and I loved it. My mum favourite food is anything that has vegetable and fish.

Advice did she give you that you still hold on to?

She taught me to put God first in my life and that is what has kept me going in life. My spiritual life is my identity. Sometimes, when I pray, I thank God for that particular gift that my mum gave us. If that is the only thing she gives me, I’m set for life. The gift of teaching me to be prayerful is what I intend to give to my children because it’s a gift that money cannot buy. That gift, consciously or unconsciously, has been guiding me through life. I always come back to my spiritual life for answers, for direction and all that.

What aspect of your mum’s lifestyle do you admire most?

As a little child, my mum was always working. My mum is an achiever, even with her four children. She was pregnant when she was in Law School, and still remained focused. She ran for House of Representatives election at the age of 30 in Anambra State, and she won. But the demise of Abacha obstructed that. Back then, seeing her waking up every day, working hard for her campaign, as a wife and a mother, always moved me as a child. At the time, she was still with my father, not yet divorced.

I wanted to be a hardworking person like her. Even with all that she also maintains a humble spirit. My mum was also a Director in Anambra State Water Corporation. I’m a family person. My responsibility as a mother and wife is very important to me. Growing up, we were very close as siblings. That’s what my mum and dad taught us. My dad talked about family being together. I can’t have a conversation without talking about my husband and my children. My mum is very social but more homely.

I Have No House Outside Nigeria, Dangote Hints

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has declared that he has no personal house outside Nigeria.
The business mogul said this at the 2019 Mo Ibrahim Forum.

Dangote hinted that he avoids luxury things “because they distract and take time”.

He said: “I don’t have any holiday home anywhere. I don’t have a house anywhere but I know people who are working for me…they have houses in London.”

“But you see, a lot of people, even the younger ones, we need to be very careful because one of biggest issues with us as Africans is that we spend our projected incomes.

“Once you start doing business [and] it starts doing well, but rather than for you to invest more in the business, you start spending thinking that profit will continue to come.

“There are ups and downs in business so you need to be very focused.”

Asked of his opinion on areas young entrepreneurs should invest in, Dangote replied: “The sectors to focus on now are ICT and agriculture. These are the 2 promising sectors.”

21 Kidnappers Go Blind In Delta Forest After Abducting Popular Bishop

Bishop (Dr) Godday Iboyi Okokporo, JP, is General Overseer, Promise Kingdom Ministry Inc. Worldwide, aka Overflow Chapel, with headquarters in Sapele, Delta State.

Okokporo, who turns 43 today, is also the ‘Prophet of Okpe Kingdom’ and President-General of Okpe Christian Council. In the past two weeks, it has been merriment in Sapele as residents, whose lives he has touched, lined up series of events to celebrate him.

He spoke to Sunday Vanguard in an interview last Monday. Excerpts:

Winning souls
God has really been using me to reach out to many lives; we have won many souls, populated the kingdom of heaven and depopulated the kingdom of hell because my primary assignment and mission is to win souls for the kingdom. This is what we have been doing for the past 18 years. My ministry is into taking care of widows and the less privileged. Over 100 persons are on our scholarship, we also have the prisons ministry and if you go to the Sapele Prisons, they will tell you of our impact. The Controller-General of Prisons even wrote me more than five times through the Deputy Controller -General of Sapele Prison appreciating me for reaching out to people in the prison. Every month, we give substantial part of our tithes to the prison to support them and, even during my last year’s birthday, we took a day off to go the prison. We also go to orphanages and lepers to render assistance and prepare them for the kingdom of God.

I never wanted to be a pastor
It was a difficult task. When I was small, people told me about a pastor who came from Guyana. My mother was in Accra, Ghana then, she was born there. At eight years old when she went for crusade, a man of God from Guyana walked towards my grandmother, the late Madam Agbeyo Idisi, and told her that ‘this little girl you are carrying will give birth to a child, number three among her children and he is going to be great and he will help humanity.

‘When this child is born, take care of him very well and he will try to run away from his calling, but God will handle him and he will come back to Him just as Jonah did in the scripture’. My mum left Ghana and, after many years, she got married to Mr Iboyi Okokporo. After giving birth to the first child, Vero, she is now married to Ezekiel Eyarefe. She gave birth to Keffe Iboyi, my immediate elder brother and then me. So my grandmother said the prophesied child had been born and took me away. People started asking why and she said a prophet gave prophesy to her about the child many years ago, but I went through a lot of challenges from the very first day my mother got pregnant to when she gave birth to me.

On April 14, 1976, when l was born, people thought I would not survive. It took me five years and three weeks to walk. It was obvious the devil was playing pranks on me, which is why, if I see anybody in problem, I use my last resources to help him. My life is a living testimony from day one. My father died some years later and my mum, after doing her best, died too. My father was a priest of the Alleluia Church and I grew up there. Alleluia church was brought to Nigeria by Evangelist John from America on February 2, 1954 and the name was later changed to Full Gospel.

My father renounced his faith because the church was not doing well, we also did. Many years later, another man of God rose to take over the ministry, Pastor Peter Efemini, now Reverend Peter Efemini, he is now under me. God used him to organize a crusade and, before that crusade, the late Evangelist Cousin Mosheshe and Mimiyerijesu came to the community and prophesied that God was going to use me. They said I was going to be a very great man of God. They prayed for me and left, but I was not convinced. My thought was that pastors do not do well. A day later, Jesus appeared to me and said “my son, I am the one that spoke through my prophet from Guyana that you are going to be a great prophet and I am going to use you though it is not your will, let my will prevail”. I woke up, it was a dream.

I left the community and went to Port Harcourt to stay with a friend for about a month. I was there when the dream came again. God told me to go home or you will die. I refused. Then I was involved in an accident and I almost died. I worked in Nigeria Dredging and Marine. I was a former rubber merchant and also palm oil dealer. I also worked at Songhai Delta. God gave me money. At the age of 19, I already had over N4m in my bank account. So when the calling came, the little money I saved, about N15m million, I used it to buy land for the church. I ran into problems. My businesses then were not progressing.

I will pray and pray and somebody will appear before me in my dream and say “you cannot run away from me, so come back to your Maker”. There are three types of pastors: Those God called and their arrival was announced by God, those who followed leaders because of their willingness to serve God and God used them, and those who just love the calling, the way pastors dress (these are the people causing confusion in the today because they do not have the spirit of God fully in them). This is why I could not join politics because God said if I play politics, they will paint me black. I asked God whether politicians are not righteous and He said Christians, minor prophets can play politics but major prophets should not; even in the Bible they did not play politics.

Then I came home and another crusade came and the Lord said “go to that crusade because I want to make another relationship with you”. I went to the crusade and I re-gave my life to God, so the pastor started taking care of me. From there, I became children’s teacher. Later, l joined the choir and from there l became youth leader, choir leader, assistant pastor doing before God called me again. The Lord said “I am going to use you to do great work and your ministry is going to be Promised Kingdom Ministry Incorporated Worldwide, aka Overflow Chapel”. I asked, “what is Overflow Chapel?”

The Lord said Overflow Chapel is from John 23 verse 5, which says ‘I will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies, and your cup will overflow’ and He told me that anyone who believes in me, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. He said the ministry was going to be overflow of healing, overflow of deliverance, overflow of everything and that is how the ministry started.

How God finally got me
So this great man of God, Rev Peter Efemini, who God finally used in converting me told me that God said he should come and work under me, that once a man is under a king, no matter the bead the man is wearing, he is still under the king. He said I should not be afraid that I am carrying the crown, which was why he left Full Gospel where he trained me, nurtured me and brought me up to Promise Kingdom. Reverend Efemini is still working with me now. I re-ordained him. He is now a Bishop-elect and, as I am moving to Archbishop now, he will be the next Bishop. Our ministry officially started on September 26, 2002 and we used to go from village to village.

People would say “come to the city” and I would say “no, if everybody goes to the city, who will preach to the people in the villages?” And when people saw the anointing, the healing of the blind, they said this is real. There were so many miracles then, so they started trying to take me out of the community. But the king said, “My son, if you leave now, you know we do not have any major prophet in Okpe Kingdom, please stay with us.” He had to use everything. I became the ‘Prophet of the kingdom’ and then the President-General of Okpe Christian Council. I am in charge of over 3,000 ministers in Sapele and Okpe. We have branches in the kingdom before we started taking the ministry out of Delta. We are now in Edo State and Abuja branch will open in May.

Abduction
We have been praying about the issue of Sapele and that is why in past years, we organized crusades, seminars, to educate our youths. Yes, there was a time in Sapele that you could not go around freely without running into kidnappers. It is true that l was abducted on November 30, 2015, at about 9.25 pm, because they discovered that God is using me to reduce crime in the society. Some evil people decided to kidnap me after they discovered that occultists and native doctors in Sapele were coming to give their lives to Christ. I have used my hands to burn 340 shrines, we broke some building used for idol worship, and they met and decided to stop my activities.

They tried physical and spiritual things, no way, so they finally decided to kidnap me. When the kidnappers came, they told me that their mission was to kill me. One of them said l was a big man, “so let us take him away and demand a ransom of N100 million. They took me away to a forest. Six of them actually came to the house to abduct me but in the forest, I counted 21 of them. God showed that He is God. I prayed to Him that if it was Him, Jehovah, that called me, that all the kidnappers should go blind, while providing a way of escape for me. Even me that prayed the prayer was amazed. I was seeing them but they could no longer see me.

They now started begging me to help them, saying, ‘Man of God, we know you are a powerful man, please pray to God that our eyes should open’. My king and others brought soldiers into the forest and they were shooting into the air to intimidate them to run away and leave me. I think what God did in response to my prayer was to prepare the way for my rescuers. They ran in different directions as they heard the overwhelming gunshots. I perceive that in the race for death and life, God opened their eyes, but they did not run in the direction the shots were coming from. Since they had run away, I started shouting for the search party to know the direction of where I was.

When I came back and people heard the story of what happened, many gave their lives to Christ. I do not even know today whether the kidnappers were among those who gave their lives to Christ. If you do not know, God does his things in mysterious ways. Now, we have been doing our best to make sure Sapele is safe. Most of the people-causing problems in Sapele are not from here and we are still trying so that, with one voice, we can achieve our aim.

Devil fights back
Besides the kidnapping, demonic forces almost killed all my children. Four of them took ill and were admitted in hospital at the same time because I am into deliverance ministry. Every Wednesday, people come for deliverance from all parts of the world. Those that are barren, people who have problems in their educational life, those addicted to smoking, doing drugs, and so on come for the service. When God delivers them, the demons start fighting back, sometimes my cars will just go up in flames. Some days ago, three generators packed up. Last year, a generator blew up. That was the devil fighting back, but God will tell me the reasons for such happenings and tell me not to worry about them. If anybody tells you that the ministry is easy, it is a lie. What pastors go through sometimes is hell. We go through pains. When you rescue a man from the devil, be rest assured the devil will not rest.

The problem with Sapele
We have one problem in Sapele, disunity. Inside that disunity, we have discrimination, then that spirit of “it is not my business”. Many in Sapele still have this spirit of pull him down, they will do anything to pull you down, even in politics, we see them too. I was the President of Amukpe Christian Council for six years, about 38 denominations. I just handed over to Reverend Bukeno of Christ Chosen Church and we are trying to conquer these problems. Sapele is backward spiritually and in everything. Look at our only seaport, it is not functioning. AT&P is dead, Eternit is gone, and Life Flour Mill is struggling to stay afloat, but we are praying that things should move on. Thank God for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. He really tried for Sapele. He is the only governor who has made us understand that Sapele is still a place to remember. In his first tenure, he really tried for Sapele. We pray that he does more in his second tenure. Sapele is, however, growing spiritually now, all we need is unity to move Sapele ahead, and prayers to make it recover its lost glory.

Check Out Meghan Markle’s First Ever Photograph

Captured by a family member in an austere Los Angeles hospital room, this starkly evocative portrait is the first-ever photograph of the future Duchess of Sussex.

It was taken so soon after Meghan's birth, at 4.46am, on August 4, 1981, that she still wears identity tags around her wrist and ankle, and barely fills out her sky-blue smock, as she nestles next to her 24-year-old mother, Doria Markle.

The remarkable image features among more than 30 photos in a previously unseen family album shown exclusively to the Daily Mail by Meghan's uncle, Joseph Johnson.

Charting the Duchess's happy, though sometimes turbulent, childhood, from her earliest moments through to her teens, the pictures are of particular significance to her family.

For while we have seen many shots of the young Meghan with her father, Thomas, and his side of her family, this collection opens a fresh window on the times she shared with her maternal relatives, particularly her mother Doria and grandmother Jeanette Johnson; the women who most influenced her.

Kris Jenner Details Fee Schedule For Her Daughters' Social Media Posts

Kris Jenner is set to dish on her business empire in a tell-all interview airing Sunday.

Jenner, 63, sat down for an interview with CBS Sunday Morning to discuss the ways in which her daughters have made a fortune from their makeup and clothing businesses and product endorsements.

She said: 'My daughters are constantly getting offers to post something for a company, or a brand, on social media

'So they're – they have a fee for a post, or a fee for a story, a fee for Facebook, a fee for – you know – they have a fee schedule,' she added.

The Kardashian-Jenner sisters have hundreds of millions of followers on social media and Kris explains that they have a lot of earning power because of that.

‘I mean, it's definitely six figures,' Kris revealed, saying that the fees are on a sliding scale depending on the post's subject, or who, whether it be Kim, Khloe, Kylie, is doing the posting.

The mother-of-six says that they charge more for 'pharmaceutical products or if it's something that you're going to drink, or ingest, or put on your body'.

In recent months Khloe, Kim and Kourtney have come under fire for promoting detox teas and shakes because of the possible side effects of the non FDA approved formulas.

All three have been seen posing in their underwear to show off their flat tummies while holding the shakes and displaying the logo on the tubs.

Kris also discussed her plans to trademark her 'Momager' moniker, explaining that she thinks it's a good opportunity.

'I do that from time to time because I feel like something's important,' she said. 'And I want to protect it.'

The interview is part of Sunday Morning's annual Money Issue.

A ten-year-old boy has been mauled to death by a dog at a holiday park. Police were called to Tencreek Holiday Park in Looe, Cornwall, just before 5am yesterday to reports of the youngster being in an "unresponsive" state.

Cops say he had been attacked by a dog, believed to be a bulldog-type breed.

Emergency services rushed to the scene but the child was pronounced dead before he could be taken to hospital.

The boy is likely to have been enjoying his Easter holidays.

Following the attack police launched a search for the dog and its owner.

One woman, 28, was arrested three hours later in Saltash, Cornwall, 15 miles from where the incident occurred at the park in Looe, Cornwall, and remains in police custody.

She was arrested on suspicion of having a dog dangerously out of control and manslaughter, Devon and Cornwall Police said in a tweet.

The tragedy comes days after a baby, just six weeks old, was mauled by a dog in Hawick in the Scottish borders. The boy is in hospital fighting for his life. So sad.

Adulterous Wife Goes Into Hiding As Husband, Lover Fight Over Paternity Of Baby

What a mess! A married woman, Mrs. Feyintola Babalola has gone into hiding after a legal paternity battle broke out between two men she engaged in secret romance in Lagos.

She was said to have engaged her husband, Babalola, and her lover, Abiodun Ibrahim, in love affairs to the extent that they both had steady access to her, but did not know each other until recently.

According to PM Express, Ibrahim was the first to meet and propose to marry Feyintola. They then got very intimate and she became pregnant for him but eventually opted for Babalola and got married to him.

All the while, she still maintained both relationships; secretly met both men, made them to believe that they were responsible for the pregnancy and they took care of her.

Trouble, however, started when she was delivered of the baby and Ibrahim visited to see his son, but ended up being arrested by Mr. Babalola, who accused him of r*ping and abducting his wife and the baby.

At the station, Ibrahim told the police that despite the fact that Feyintola was staying in Babalola’s house at Bola Street in Ebute Metta, Lagos, he was the one that impregnated her and both of them knew before she married.

He explained to the police that before and after she put to bed, he had been taking care of her and the baby and only visited the place to see his newborn baby as the father.

He challenged both the police and Babalola to carry out a DNA test to know who owns the baby. However, the police still charged him before the Ebute Metta for r*pe and abduction.

The court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Inspector Miram Dauda, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice. Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A.O. Ajibade, ordered his remand in prison custody and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP.

Female Police Officer Caught On Camera Beating A Pregnant Woman

A powerdrunk Nigerian police officer, Omolara Sunday has been caught on video physically assaulting a pregnant woman. The officer is said to be attached to Alagolo Police station, Ipaja Ayobo, Lagos.

The sad incident took place inside the car of filmmaker Lanre Adediwura.

Musician Ruggedman who shared the video wrote:
'Nigerian Police Force officer Omolara Sunday caught on video assaulting a pregnant woman. She is from rom Alagolo Police station, Ipaja ayobo, Lagos opposite beside igbogila health centre ayobo.

This was in the car of filmmaker Lanre Adediwura @lanreadediwura. Shortly after, the corrupt officer ripped her own uniform and lied that it was the filmmaker that assaulted her. While the video clearly shows her beating a pregnant Cecelia Adeniji.

To make the matters worse, officer Omolara Sunday and her colleagues framed Lanre and the pregnant Cecelia for assault, took them to Ejigbo Magistrate Court 2, after Isheri.

Where the judge adjourned the case and ordered them to be remanded in police custody until the process their bail and be set free. But officer Omolara Sunday defied court orders and illegally took Lanre and pregnant Cecelia who she assaulted and framed to Kirikiri maximum prison. Where they stayed for 24hours...

We want officer Omolara Sunday of Alagolo police station to face the wrath of the law for;
1. Lying to the court of law
2. Defying court orders
3. Unlawfully imprisoning an innocent Lanre and pregnant Cecelia.

We need the Nigerian police to show us they do not support the police brutality that is becoming rampant. We need to see these officers punished for their crimes.
