A stylist credited with overhauling Kate Middleton's wardrobe became a member of the Royal Victorian Order during a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Natasha Archer was given the honour after being named in the New Year's Honours list 2019 for her services to the royal family.
Pictures uploaded to social media show a beaming Ms Archer at the Palace for court proudly displaying the medal bestowed to her by the Queen.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has withdrawn its aviation security and aerodrome rescue and firefighting personnel from Gombe and Kebbi airports over N732.4m indebtedness.
The General Manager, Corporate Affairs, FAAN, Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, confirmed the development to the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday, in Lagos.
Yakubu said the withdrawal of FAAN services from both airports, which had technically grounded flight operations, took effect from midnight of May 1.
According to FAAN, Gombe Airport, which is owned by the Gombe State Government, owes the authority N607. 9m while Kebbi Airport, operated by the Kebbi State Government, owes FAAN N124.5m.
FAAN, in a notice to airmen, earlier in April, threatened to withdraw its services from the airports and others indebted to the agency and had given them a deadline of April 30 to clear their outstanding debts.
The agency said, “The authority shall be constrained to commence the implementation of sanctions at the expiration of this notice if the organisations fail or refuse to pay up as advised.
“In view of the above, the authority hereby notifies private airport operators that the services of our aviation security and aerodrome rescue and firefighting personnel will no longer be available for the operations of their airports with effect from May 1.”
The agency had noted that it could no longer keep the personnel at the airports working without payment by the operators and owners.

Iker Casillas will not be able to resume his football career following his heart attack, according to a well-known Spanish cardiologist.
The Spanish World Cup winning goalkeeper suffered a myocardial infarction in training with Porto on Wednesday, and was immediately rushed to the hospital for surgery.
That surgery was a success, and Casillas shared a picture of himself smiling from his hospital bed on Wednesday evening.
And now cardiologist and former Real Madrid basketball player Juan Antonio Corbalan says that while Casillas will make a full recovery, he will no longer be able to play football.
"You cannot play football with a coronary stent, especially a goalkeeper," he said, via AS .
"Iker will return to living a normal life, but he can no longer be a professional athlete."
The South East Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 37 suspected Internet fraudsters, otherwise known as Yahoo Boys in Owerri, Imo State.
EFCC’s Acting Spokesman, Tony Orilade, in a statement yesterday in Abuja disclosed that the arrest followed a raid on some targeted residences in Okwu Urata, Aladinma and Egbu areas of the city.
Orilade maintained that the commission’s action followed intelligence report, which hinted that the suspects were living lavish lifestyles without any known means of livelihood, alleging that they specialise in defrauding unsuspecting victims through the Internet.
“In the course of executing the search warrants, items such as laptop computers, 25 five exotic cars, including several brands of Mercedes Benz, Lexus, Toyota cars and expensive mobile phones were recovered,” he said.
Responding to the development, Zonal Head, Usman Imam, who said the exercise was in line with EFCC’s mandate, decried the high rate of cybercrime in the zone, which he blamed on complete breakdown of values in the country.

Under-boob
This is when it looks like your boob is coming out under the cup. It's caused when the underband is too big and the cup is too small.
Side-boob
This is when the boobs spill out of the side. It's caused by the cup being too small. It can be very painful.
To check the cup fits correctly, make sure it is fully encasing ALL the breast tissue.
Tight straps
You should adjust your straps so you can just fit two fingers on top of each other underneath.
A good way to check if your bra is giving you enough support is to slide the straps off and see if the cups are still supportive.
The straps are designed to hold the cups up, not to give support.
The four-boob effect
This is when the incorrect cup size pushes the tissue up. It can look very unflattering when you're wearing clothes.

Peter Mayhew, the original Chewbacca, has died, according to his agent. Mayhew, 74, died on April 30 with his family by his side in his North Texas home. He is survived by his wife, Angie, and three children.
The Hollywood icon played Chewbacca in the original "Star Wars" trilogy, episode 3 of the prequels and the New Trilogy, according to a statement from his family.
Mayhew, who once used a wheelchair because of a bum knee, stood tall to portray Chewbacca once more in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." He also consulted on "The Last Jedi" to help teach his successor.
"He put his heart and soul into the role of Chewbacca and it showed in every frame of the films from his knock-kneed running, firing his bowcaster from the hip, his bright blue eyes, down to each subtle movement of his head and mouth," his family said. "But, to him, the Star Wars family meant so much more to him than a role in a film."

The Northern Territory Parks and Wildlife Service shared the picture of the baby carpet python - nicknamed Monty Python - which had a third eye on top of its head, on Facebook , in a post which has now been shared more than 9,000 times.

New Zealand’s prime minister Jacinda Ardern has announced her engagement to her long-term partner .

Fatima Yasmin Kure, the first daughter of late Niger state Governor, Engineer Abdulkadir Kure, is dead.
It was gathered that she died suddenly in Abuja. Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello, has commiserated with the family over the incident.
The Governor expressed shock over the demise of Yasmin, a mother of one in Abuja.
He asked Allah to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest, reward her with Jannatul Firdausi and grant Senator Zainab Kure and entire the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

The Kano Government has sacked all Permanent Secretaries in the state, in line with the present government’s reformation resolve.
This is according to a statement from the of the Head of Civil Service on Thursday. According to the statement, the decision is in line with the Kano Government’s decision to “Vigorously pursue/implement the reform initiative embarked upon since its inception”.
The communique also stated that the move will tend to the state’s need to further ensure greater efficiency in service delivery.

At least 2000 medical workers leave Nigeria annually in search of greener pastures overseas, the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), said yesterday.
Unfortunately, such workers relocate to developed countries, according to NMA President, Dr. Francis Adedayo Faduyile, who spoke at the opening of the Annual General Conference/Delegates meeting of the Association in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
He said the worrisome trend informed the theme of the meeting which is “Skill repatriation in the health sector: Turning Nigeria’s brain drain to brain gain”.
Dr. Faduyile said: “We believe that this ugly situation can be turned to an advantage hence the need to bring this to the front burner for discussion and proffer a way out to the country’s advantage.”
The NMA boss also said that politicians in the country do not seem to be worried at the trend because they do not have the necessary statistics and facts on the matter.
He said: “Without intent at generating further controversy on the matters arising from the unfortunate remark by a senior cabinet member of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who incidentally, or coincidentally, doubles as a senior member of the medical profession, it is our firm believe that this gathering would generate further affirmatory statistics and facts that possibly would be enough in convincing those policy makers at critical MDAs of government at all levels.
“Such MDAs, including the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, who perhaps, are yet to come to reality with the scientifically unambiguous deleterious aftermath of the worsening disparity between the health workforce in general and the population they are serving vis-à-vis the alarming rate of the emigration of these health/medical professionals on health outcomes as reflected by the various morbidity and mortality data. Then, they can join us in the clarion call for action and be committed to instituting necessary actions.”
Health Minister Prof Isaac Adewole also expressed worry at the increasing rate of brain drain in the country’s medical sector.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan arrived yesterday in South Africa, where he will lead an observer mission to monitor the country’s general election scheduled for May 8.
In a series of tweets, Jonathan said he would be heading the election observer mission of the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA).
The former president said democracy in the continent of Africa “has indeed turned the corner” as many countries are now holding peaceful elections.
He said this has put power in the people to choose their leaders.
“I arrived Johannesburg early this morning to lead the Election Observation Mission of the @EISAfrica to South Africa’s national and provincial elections,” the former president tweeted.
He went on: “Democracy has indeed turned the corner in Africa with many nations holding periodic and peaceful elections which put in the hands of the people the power to choose their leaders.”
“I arrived in Johannesburg early this morning to lead the Election Observation Mission of the @EISAfrica to South Africa’s national and provincial elections.”
This is not the first time that Jonathan will monitor an election in Africa.
In 2017, he co-led a mission of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) to monitor Liberia’s presidential polls.

The former Friends star, now 50, penned an opinion piece back in 2016 begging for the scrutiny to stop after endless stories, messages and social media posts asking whether she was pregnant.

Everyone, she continued, is complete with or without a mate, and with or without a child.
“We get to decide for ourselves what is beautiful when it comes to our bodies. That decision is ours and ours alone. Let’s make that decision for ourselves and for the young women in this world who look to us as examples.”
Jennifer carried on: “We don’t need to be married or mothers to be complete. We get to determine our own ‘happily ever after’ for ourselves.”
She then revealed why she had never had children, adding she had “grown tired” of being part of the narrative.
“Yes, I may become a mother someday, and since I’m laying it all out there, if I ever do, I will be the first to let you know. But I’m not in pursuit of motherhood because I feel incomplete in some way, as our celebrity news culture would lead us all to believe.
“I resent being made to feel ‘less than’ because my body is changing and/or I had a burger for lunch and was photographed from a weird angle and therefore deemed one of two things: ‘pregnant’ or ‘fat’. Not to mention the painful awkwardness that comes with being congratulated by friends, co-workers and strangers alike on one’s fictional pregnancy (often a dozen times in a single day).”
