Woman excitedly confirms engagement - but people are horrified to see her ring
And while every ring is different, all that matters is that the person popping the question manages to pick one their partner likes - right?
Well... People were disgusted when they saw the ring one boyfriend used to ask his girlfriend to be his bride - because it was made from his own hair.
The excited woman shared a snap of her hand wearing the 'ring', showing hundreds of strands of hair looped around her finger.
She wrote: "My boyfie is now my fiancé!
"He proposed with a ring made from a lock of his OWN HAIR.
"This is a placeholder, until my more intricately woven band is done."
A screenshot of her message was posted on the Facebook group That's It, I'm Ring Shaming, and has unsurprisingly attracted a lot of comments, reports the Sun .
One wrote: "No matter how much I love the dude I don't think I'd ever in a million years wear his hair on my finger."
Another commented: "Did she pull his hair from the drain and just wrap it around her finger? Does he even know they are engaged?"
Others questioned which part of his body the hair had come from.

Referee dies after suffering heart attack on pitch
The referee bent over with his hands on his knees before he crashed to the ground. Players from both teams rushed to his side and some even took off their tops and tried to fan him with them.
Medical staff then put him onto a stretcher and carried him off the pitch as the fans applauded him.
Reports claim he was rushed to the emergency unit in Vila Prado in an ambulance.
Official sources said: "All the CPR procedures were carried out but Idildo could not be revived and died."
The futsal match, which was locked at 0-0 at the time of the incident, was abandoned.
A date has not been set for the rematch between Sao Carlos and Taubate.
Sao Paulo Futsal League have released a statement to show solidarity with Silva's family and friends at the hard time.
The Liga Paulista de Futsal wrote: "The LPF deeply regrets the death of referee Isildo Fabiano Bianchi da Silva, 44, who unfortunately died on Friday night."

We want the world to see June 12 as Nigeria’s most important day – Garba Shehu
During an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, Mr Shehu explained that while May 29th remains significant as the inauguration day, all ceremonies associated with the inauguration have been deferred to June 12.
“We want the world to see June 12 as this country’s most important (day) as far as democracy is concerned,” he said.
He further explained that the May 29 inauguration will still be marked because according to the Constitution, the four-year term officially ends on the 29th.
“Let me say emphatically, it is important that the President and the governors are being inaugurated on the 29th.
“Constitutionally, that must take place because their four-year term (2015-2019), expires on the 29th.
“However, the President will be swearing an oath, taking the oath of office as would the governors be doing, but the big ceremonies associated with the inauguration have been deferred to June 12, in order that we empower, we activate this day in a big way”.
On the venue of the event, he noted that it would take place at the Eagles Square, Abuja and the missions in the country, embassies, and other key figures will be duly represented.
“Delegations will come but we are welcoming them on June 12,” Shehu added.

Tribunal adjourns hearing suits challenging Buhari’s victory
Hope Democratic Party (HDP) had earlier filed a motion seeking an order of the presidential election tribunal restraining President Muhammadu Buhari from presenting himself to be sworn-in on May 29th, 2019.
The party is also seeking an order restraining the Chief Justice of Nigeria from swearing-in, administering the oath of office and oath of allegiance to the president on May 29th, 2019.
The Hope Democratic Party claimed that inspite of the pendency of the legal action against President Buhari, he has been making frantic efforts and preparation for his inauguration on May 29, 2019, by the CJN.
The Hope Democratic Party also said the petition has been served on President Buhari and pleadings have been exchanged.
Although, the petitioner said it has announced the application, the respondent including counsels to President Buhari, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said they have not been served with the motion.
In response, counsel to INEC asked the tribunal to award a cost of N1million against the petitioner – Hope Democratic Party.
On his part counsel to President Buhari, Mr Wole Olanipekun did not ask for cost but however said he needs time to go through the application.
He also told the tribunal that he has an application on behalf of the president seeking to dismiss the petition of the Hope Democratic Party.
Counsel to President Buhari, Mr Wole Olanipekun notified the tribunal of an application he filed seeking the dismissal of the petition of the Hope Democratic Party.
Counsel to the Hope Democratic Party, Mr Oliver Enya in his reply told the tribunal that he will be objecting to the application because it touches on facts that are in the substantive suit.
The tribunal, therefore, said it will longer hear the application to stop the President’s inauguration because parties have not been served.
The tribunal then adjourned hearing to May 22.
Other petitions challenging Buhari’s victory are filed by other political parties. They include the major opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Gunmen shoot trader to death during Lagos robbery
There was tension in PPL community, in the Ojo Local Government Area, Lagos State, on Saturday, after some gunmen shot dead a trader, Binaebilayefa Dawudu.
The deceased’s family called on the Lagos State Police Command to conduct thorough investigation into the events that led to Dawudu’s death and apprehend his killers.
Punch Metro gathered that Dawudu, who had prayed in a mosque, was on his way home when he was shot.
A witness, who identified himself simply as Kunle, said he was going to the Aiyepe Market to buy foodstuffs when the gunmen attacked.
The 25-year-old said, “I was on my way to buy foodstuffs in the market when I heard three gunshots. But because there was no electricity, we ran into a bet shop for safety. One of the assailants followed us into the shop. He ordered us to lie down and robbed us and other customers of our valuables. Afterwards, he left. It was when I got to my hostel that I heard that Dawudu had been killed.”
A friend of the deceased, who did not want his name in print, said Dawudu was killed because he took the route the gunmen used to flee from the crime scene.
“We were together when Dawudu left to pray in the mosque. After praying, he was on his way home when the people that came to rob the area shot him to death. The PPL area is very dangerous; in fact, the management of the Lagos State University has marked the area unsafe for students’ habitation. But students still live there because it is close to the school,” he added.
The deceased’s brother, Abiodun, said only justice would assuage the hurt of the family.
He said, “I got a call from his friend that he was shot dead; I called other people who confirmed the incident. This is not the first time they will be killing people.
“Aside from my brother, they killed another man in the area this year. We want the police to investigate the incident and bring the killers to justice.”
It was learnt that before the incident, Dawudu had posted a message on Facebook page, which some people said showed he had a premonition of his death.
“Confession time; lord have done a lot good or bad in life, please forgive me all my sins Allah,” Dawudu had written.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, said two suspects had been arrested over the death, adding that investigation was ongoing.

Mercy Aigbe threatens to sue blogger as she deactivates her comment section
According to the actress, who didn’t mention the blogger anyway, she said shortly after her mother’s day post, the blogger wrote that her daughter’s father has been responsible for her daughter’s school fees, something she denied and said he has never done. She has now vowed to sue him, saying she won’t relent! She also deactivated her comment on that particular post, meaning she wants no one’s opinion on it. Her words…
This afternoon, I instructed my lawyer to write a blogger, who has made it in his/her life mission, to spread falsehood about me.
The latest, being that the father of my daughter has been sending money for her upkeep.
This lie is in response to the post I made on mother's day.
I could have allowed this lie to slide but henceforth, I have made a decision to challenge every form of falsehood. I know like many media people, this particular blogger might not take me serious. They believe there will be no consequence for spreading false news or if they beg, all will be well.
I'm putting it out here to let you know that this particular blogger lied. In the past 18 years I have been solely responsible for the upkeep of my daughter.... if the blogger believes otherwise, he/she should come out with Proof or face the consequences! ......I will not toil day and night to give my children the best in life and have one unprofessional , lazy, clout chasing blogger try to paint me Bad .......For the records, I will be pursuing this to a legal logical conclusion and challenge every form of falsehood hence forth.
