Actress Tayo Sobola has continued to mourn her mom. She lost her mom some days ago. She announced her demise without saying what took her away. Now, Tayo is saying her mom is the only friend she has, and the only person she can borrow from.

Anthony Joshua has been defeated by unfancied Mexican fighter Andy Ruiz Jr in one of the biggest shocks in heavyweight boxing history.
Anthony lost all three of his IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles after being stopped in the seventh round in front of a disbelieving 20,000-strong crowd at Madison Square Garden in New York. And now, Anthony is taking all the blame. Speaking shortly after the match, he said;

Instagram blogger, Blessing Okoro has once again apologized to her fans for presenting to them a house which isn’t hers on her 30th birthday. Blessing had posted a photo of the house on instagram saying she built it in celebration of her 30th birthday. Soon after the photo went viral, the real owner, an Igbo business man based in China, Onye Eze debunked the news saying the 7-bedroom mansion belonged to him.
Blessing went on to post a plan of a house, to prove the mansion belongs to her and even posted a photo of herself in her night wear in front of the house to prove it’s hers. At the end of it all, Blessing was apprehended, taking to the house, humiliated and made to confess in a video which has since gone viral.
Though she has apologized to her fans before, she is once again apologizing to them.
She wrote; Hey lovers.. I know it has been crazy lately and I am sincerely sorry.. I take responsibility for everything.. I hate that I had to put my friends and everyone else who looked up to me in this position.. Like everyone else I had goals set up for the year and one of them was to finish my house before my 30th birthday and it was a resolution I had layed out in public but because of certain reasons I couldn't meet up the dead line and that put me under a mental pressure for success.
I was impatient which led to beating myself too hard and I could have done better.. I AM REALLY SORRY I LET YOU ALL DOWN...I know better now.. I know not to go ahead of my victory and have small wins celebration.. Here's to everyone under any sort of pressure.
I had to experience a major meltdown to learn that patience is virtue.. Its only going to take a little time but the lines will eventually fall in pleasant places.. And for the incessant calls and text messages from my loved ones that were terrified seeing me on cuffs I was never arrested or detained and no police officers was associated with the act .it was thier best form of proving a point.
But i am grateful to everyone who stood by me, I hope you still find a place in your heart to forgive ,love me and accept me as the crazy happy girl you have always loved .

Anthony Joshua has suffered the first defeat of his professional career in a shock loss to Andy Ruiz Jr at Madison Square Garden.
Making his US debut at one of boxing’s hallowed venues, Joshua was stunned by the unfancied Ruiz, who sent the Briton to the mat four times en route to becoming the new IBF, WBA (Super) and WBO champion in front of a stunned New York crowd.
Ruiz had taken the fight on less than six weeks’ notice following Jarrell Miller’s failed drugs test in what was his second crack at world title gold, having fallen short against Joseph Parker in his only professional defeat.
He was dropped by Joshua early in the third round but responded emphatically, dropping the champion twice with the Olympic champion never truly recovering.

Star striker Neymar has been accused of raping a woman at a hotel in Paris, Brazilian media reports said Saturday, charges that the player's father slammed as attempted blackmail.
According to a complaint filed with Sao Paolo police and reported by the UOL and GloboEsporte websites, the Paris Saint-Germain star is accused of "using violence to have sex with the victim without her consent."
Sao Paulo's security secretariat would not provide a copy of the complaint to AFP, confirming only that one had been filed but saying its contents were classified.
The unidentified woman, who lives in Brazil, allegedly met Neymar through Instagram, and after exchanging messages, the footballer invited her to visit him in Paris in mid-May.
According to the complaint, Neymar arrived at the hotel "apparently intoxicated," and the two chatted and exchanged "caresses."
But then "he became aggressive and used violence to have sex with the victim without her consent," the document said.
Neymar's father, who is also his agent, categorically denied the accusations in an interview with Brazilian broadcaster Bandeirantes.
"This is not true, he has never committed any crime," said Neymar Santos, arguing that his son was a victim of blackmail. "We have all the evidence and we already gave everything to the lawyers."
According to Neymar Santos, his son and the woman went on a date, but Neymar did not want to see her again. Since then, the woman has tried to extort money from the player and his family, he said.
"My son can be accused of many things, but I know what kind of man he is... It's clear that this was a trap," he said, adding that the family was prepared to release WhatsApp messages that would exonerate Neymar.

The State Department regulations say people will have to submit social media names and five years' worth of email addresses and phone numbers.

At least 79 people were injured and 15 people hospitalised after a blast at a Russian explosives manufacturing plant, according to a statement from the Russian health ministry.
The blast took place at the Kristall plant on Saturday in Dzerzhinsk, about 400 kilometres east of Moscow. The town has more than 240,000 residents.
The health ministry said 38 plant workers and 41 city residents asked for medical assistance. None of them were children.
One person suffered severe injuries and 14 suffered injuries of "moderate" severity, the health ministry said.
Russian press agency Interfax reported that the plant's general director was suspended the day before the fire for safety violations. The plant produces TNT and a fire started after several explosions, according to Russian news agencies.
The Christian Association of Nigeria has condemned President Muhammadu Buhari’s trip to the meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, a day after his inauguration, noting that it was unconstitutional and confirmed worries about the alleged Islamisation agenda.
CAN added that as Buhari began his second term in office, he should have a blueprint for the security challenges facing the country as well as avoid lopsided appointments in every facet of the government, “especially in the appointment chief security officers.”
In a release on Saturday by Pastor Adebayo Oladeji, the Special Assistant on Media and Communications to CAN President, Rev. Samson Ayokunle, the Christian body noted that Nigeria was “smuggled into OIC during the military”, and wondered if the President would be ready to attend the meeting of the World Council of Churches or ask the Vice President to represent him whenever the members meet.
CAN said, “With all the cries we have made about the unconstitutionality of Nigeria’s membership of OIC, going for such conference was still the first assignment of President Buhari after being sworn in. Are the government officials listening to those who voted them into power at all? Is the government not heating up the polity? We wonder if the President is ready to attend the meeting of the World Council of Churches or be asking the Vice President to represent him whenever the members meet.

Several hours after he was declared missing, a four-year –old, Oluwaposi Sobowale was found dead in a septic tank at Ikopa Tuntun area of Asero, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to sources, the toddler and his siblings were taken to their grandmother’s residence at Ikopa Tuntun penultimate Monday, by one of his father’s apprentices at the behest of their mother.
It was said that the boy’s grandmother had gone to church and the boys were left in the house by the apprentice who left to attend to a customer.
The boy was declared missing afterwards, until men of Obantoko Police Division on the advice of a resident searched a nearby septic tank where the toddler’s body was found.
Sources however claimed the boy’s death was more than meets the eye.
It was said that the boy’s body was found in the septic tank which was covered, fuelling suspicion he might have been dumped there after he was killed by unknown persons.
‘’What baffles us is the fact that we had checked the septic tank several times on the day the boy went missing. We were however shocked that his body was found in the same septic tank the following day.
‘’We suspect that he might have been killed; probably his head was smashed with a hard object as blood was still coming out of his nostrils at the time he was found.’’

“There was no ban; a panel was set up to investigate if the movie promoted some things that were against our culture. If it is found to be true, then the movie would be banned. There is no outright ban of the movie. It is not good to judge a book by its cover, they need to watch the movie and see the message in the movie. If they have an issue with the lead character in the movie, then I wouldn’t know. As a professional filmmaker, I try to cast people who fit into my script perfectly. Film is make-believe; it’s about trying to convince people.
“The movie is about a young man whose father is a core traditionalist. The young man left to study in the western world as a normal man, leaving his family members and fiancée behind. The father was to be given a traditional title, and part of the requirement of the title was to present his son who should take after him.
“He had performed other rites and the last step was for the son to come back. He believed his son was still the way he was when he left for overseas, so he was acquiring properties for him. The father was even in line to become a king. He was very proud of his son and expecting him to come back bigger than he left, only for the supposed son to return as a woman. He was shocked. They (his siblings and fiancée) were all surprised. The character begged his family to accept him the way he is, but his family members insisted that they wouldn’t do that because it was against their culture. It was a battle in the movie.
“The bottom line was that they tried everything to make him behave like a man again, traditionally. That is what the storyline is about. At the end of the movie, the character said he was only playing a game to test the love of his fiancée to see if he would still accept him. At the end of the day, he decided to put away everything that made him look like a woman to be with his fiancée. The movie didn’t try to promote homosexuality,” he said.
Nollywood actress and mom of one, Uche Ogbodo who released n*de photos to celebrate turning a year older recently says, she released the pics to show the world the woman she has become. Uche disclosed this to Saturday Beats saying;

Former Arsenal, Sevilla and Real Madrid star Jose Antonio Reyes has died in a car crash this morning at the age of 35. Reyes was involved in a traffic collision in Utrera, the town of his birth located just outside of Seville.
According to Spanish TV channel Deportes Cex, the crash is believed to have happened on a road between Utrera and Seville and two more people were in the car. It is reported one of those, his 23-year-old cousin, has also died while the third occupant suffered burns.
