A woman who wore a white gown to her brother's wedding has been accused of trying to upstage the bride - who has also accused her of doing it on 'purpose to be mean.'
The unnamed sister-in-law raised eyebrows with the 'over the top frock' with some suggesting she 'breached wedding etiquette' as it was a similar colour to the bride's dress.
A stunned guest at the ceremony shared a photo online of the group and said the outfit drama was "still a touchy subject" despite the wedding taking place almost three years ago in the Alps.
The picture shows the newlyweds stood near the groom's sister in her posh frock, which she paired with long black gloves.
A fuming friend of the bride shared the snap on a "wedding shaming" Facebook page and wrote: "Not my wedding but a friend of mine had a really extravagant winter wedding in the Alps.
"Her SIL [sister-in-law] (far left) showed up in a white dress.
"The dress code was black tie and there were no bridesmaids or groomsmen.
"Still a touchy subject so roast away!"
Many criticised the bride's sister-in-law for choosing to wear a 'suspiciously white' gown.
One said: "Imagine trying to steal the limelight with a white dress and over the top gloves... and failing miserably because the bride is a literal goddess and her gown is heavenly."
Another added: "The SIL looks awful in that outfit but next to that bride she looks ten times worse, I doubt anyone could upstage her, she looks stunning."
While a third commented: "I'm going to agree with a lot of the others here, that the bride looks so amazing that it makes the SIL look that much more ridiculous."
Others, however, defended the woman and suggested the dress was more of a cream colour.

Founder of Omega Fire Ministeries, Apostle Suleman has claimed members of his church yesterday apprehended four herdsmen who were close to his church and were plotting an attack.
Suleman said, they apprehended them and handed them over to the police but when they went back to the police station, they were no where to be found. According to him, the police claim they have been handed over to the headquarters' His claim;
''4 herdsmen were caught close to our church plotting an attack.we apprehended them and handed them to the police..only to get there today and they are no where to be found.the police says they have been handed to the headquarters.''
The governing council of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra, has dismissed Dr Peter Ekemezie, a senior lecturer at the Department of Pure and Industrial Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Sciences of the institution over certificate forgery.
According to a report by Daily Trust, the senior lecturer was sacked for the gross misconduct of plagiarism.
He was accused to have forged a B.Sc certificate from the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers state.
Ekemezie was found guilty of the act by a committee that was set up by the council to probe the allegation of plagiarism and the claims that he got his B.Sc from the University of Port Harcourt.

"A Nigerian lady Grace Amarachi has said part of the cause of rape increase in the church is -- indecent dressing. Amarachi made this known in a lengthy post on social media. Here's what she wrote.... do tell us if you agree with her or not.
All of us are angry against sexual immorality especially when it happens in the church. You're a lady and when you're being sent back by ushers from the church for dressing indecent, you flare up in anger and stops attending the the church. You're one of our problems! Women are partly the cause of the increasing rate of immorality in the society.
Pastors are humans just like you and are, same Christian just like every one of us, ladies should stop dressing indecently to church in the name of fashion! Stop standing as a temptation to men of God.
Rape is a sexual sin, and so is fornication, masturbation, homosexuality, lesbianism and adultery. If you call the name of christ desist from this any form of sexual sin, it is the only sin according to the Bible against your own body.
If you go to church and yet still fornicate or sleep with single men or ladies while married, you're also defiling the church of christ and should repent today. There are also those whose business is to sleep with pastor's, repent today, confess your sins and return to christ.
Many persons woke up from the bed of adultery and fornication and jump out to throw stones at the said pastor. When you talk against fornication, same persons who go to church every Sunday will jump out to attack you but yet they have strength to attack another.
You're not exempted because you're a member and not a Pastor. Pastors are same as you with same blood running in their veins. Flee from rape, fornication and adultery. I will never support any form of sin nor a rapist but the Bible said "let him who is without sin be the first to cast a stone".
Rapists will surely face the law and suffer for their evil against minors, but remember there is a final judge who will judge everyman. If you have ever engaged in raping anyone or defiling a minor, confess now and ask God and who you offended for forgiveness even if it happened years ago. Yes, you know yourselves, most of them are still angry at you, go and seek for forgiveness from God and those you defiled.
To the ladies, when you go for deliverance or for counselling and a pastor makes advances at you, get up and go home. I have never heard any lady say they were surrendered at gun point by a pastor to sleep with him. Don't yield yourself willingly and then come out to confess. Refuse and say No, mean it and report him to church leadership immediately, not after decades you come out to decide to speak.
And to those who are Pastors, stop shaming the body of christ! Stop defiling the altar of God! Be an example of what you preach and don't allow indecency, worldliness and it's fashion to enter your church just because you want members. Discipline yourself and your members. Remember that you must give account of all those placed under you.

Paul Mukendi, a pastor at the Parole de Vie evangelical church in Quebec, Canada has been found guilty of nine counts related to s-xual assault and abuse at Quebec City’s Palais de justice.
The plaintiff, a 31-year-old woman, accused Mukendi of s-xually assaulting her for a period of 14 years, from 2002 to 2016.
According to the plaintiff, when she was 14, her mother “gave her as an offering” to the pastor, who repeatedly engaged in s-xual relations with her.
Conversely, the defence claims the victim is “motivated by financial gain” and fabricated the entire story.
Mukendi’s trial began on June 4. The pastor was found guilty by a jury of four women and seven men. The jurors had been sequestered for five days; during this time, other women came forward with their own claims about being s-xually abused by Mukendi.
While Mukendi’s lawyer requested that he be released pending his sentence, Judge Jean-François Émond opted for immediate detention.
Mukendi’s sentencing is scheduled to take place in September. After the conviction, the defence announced its intention to appeal the jury’s decision.

Maritime activities at all ports in Nigeria have been grounded following the commencement of a nationwide strike by the Maritime Workers Union (MUN).
The union announced that members will commence on an indefinite strike over unpaid wages to dock workers from Wednesday, July 3rd.
The strike followed the expiration of the 14-day ultimatum issued to the federal government to compel the international oil companies to pay over one-year outstanding wages to dock workers, amongst other issues.
The union asked the Federal Ministry of Transportation to ensure that all outstanding wages are paid and all other related issues addressed within two weeks.
Mr Abdul-Waheed Adeyanju, the President-General of MWUN made this known in a statement issued in Lagos.
According to him, the leadership of the union has directed that members of the union shall withdraw services throughout the nation’s seaports effective from 06.00 hours on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.
Adeyanju said that the two-week notice issued on this subject lapsed on Friday, June 28, saying that there was no indication that the issue was being addressed.
He said that the union had given the International Oil Companies (IOCs) two weeks’ notice concerning the matter.
