A suspected male thief who dressed up in hijab attempting to disguise and steal inside the female hostel of the Federal College of Education, Kano state, was apprehended on Sunday.
According to the security officers at the entrance of the hostel, he was intercepted when they suspected the unusual way he was walking and also feigning his voice.
He was discovered to be man after he was stripped of his clothing.
A woman taking part in Europe's biggest s-x festival in Worcestershire had a heart attack after 'overdoing it during activities'.
The 52-year-old had to be rushed to hospital by an air ambulance after she started gasping for breath at the Swingfields Festival.
The three-day event is being held near the hamlet of Upper Welland, two miles from the famous spa town of Malvern in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.
The woman was taking part in activities with other sex enthusiasts, including a tug of war and jelly wrestling.
A festival insider said: 'The swinger had a heart attack when the medics were on site. She was given emergency treatment.
'It gave the 700 swingers present a bit of a shock. But it didn't take too long for the fun and games to resume.
'She's now had a stent fitted in one of her blocked arteries and is making a recovery. There have been a few jokes about her overdoing it in the frenzy of camp activities.'
She is expected to be released from hospital soon.
A woman who licked a tub of ice cream before putting it back in a supermarket freezer could face up to 20 years in prison, according to US police.
Police are working to confirm the identity of a female suspect, seen outside a Walmart branch in Lufkin, Texas, around 11pm on 28 June, before issuing an arrest warrant on a charge of second-degree felony tampering with a consumer product.
That charge carries a sentence of between two and 20 years in prison, along with a potential fine up to $10,000 (£8,000), according to the Texas penal code.
A video of the incident, which involved an unnamed woman who has been dubbed "the Lufkin licker", went viral on Twitter and has been viewed more than 11 million times since it was posted in late June.
Police are also looking for a man who is thought to have filmed the video and can be heard encouraging the woman to lick the tub of Blue Bell ice cream and put it back in the freezer.
A woman who claimed to be the suspect on social media said she had flu when she licked the ice cream and dared other people to post videos of themselves copying her actions.
Blue Bell said they believe they have retrieved the tampered ice cream tub but have removed all half-gallons of the product from the Lufkin Walmart as a precaution.
Gerald Williamson, Lufkin director of public safety, said: “Our biggest concern is consumer safety – in that regard we are glad to see the tainted product off the shelves.”
He added: "We're appalled that someone would do this. We take it incredibly seriously and we're acting on it as the major crime that it is."
In a statement, Lufkin police confirmed that the crime could carry a 20-year imprisonment as punishment and said the department was consulting with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) over possible federal charges.

Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz is expecting his 4th child with his Kenyan girlfriend, Tanasha Donna. A Dublin gig headlined by Naira Marley was shut down by gardai (police) over the weekend after a gang of youths were spotted fleeing the scene.
The incident unfolded at Lost Lane, Dublin just off Grafton Street before the headline artist took to the stage to perform.

The scene remained closed off to the public this morning, and gardai have since confirmed that a number of weapons have been seized and a man in his 20s arrested in connection with the incident.
Eye witness Samuel Naija who writes for Date360.net told Dublin Live that gardai arrived on the scene and "drove everyone out" before shutting the show down.
He said: " Naira Marley was headlining a show at Lost Lane yesterday with some other upcoming acts.
"We came for the event which started around 10:30pm.
"People were waiting for the artist to perform when all of a sudden gardai came to the venue, drove everyone out and shut it down.
"Afterwards Garda came in tens and filled everywhere. Everyone was still surprised and curious as to what was going on because no gang attacked or anything.
"They [the crowd] filled the street around the venue confused as to where to go and some [were] angry at the organisers asking for refund."
One onlooker passing by the area this morning told Dublin Live that it was sealed off by gardai who were carrying out an investigation.
In a statement, gardai confirmed that investigations are ongoing.

How do women get men who are standing in the way of gender equality to listen to them? Grab them by their genitalia.
That's the radical suggestion offered by jailed Ugandan feminist Stella Nyanzi.
"Unless you grab and squeeze hard, they're not listening," she said, wearing traditional African kitenge, red lipstick and a wry smile before a recent court hearing.
The academic, who has been in Luzira Women's Prison for eight months, is on trial after the government accused her of "cyber harassment and offensive communication" for penning and posting a poem on Facebook.
The poem, published last September, uses a graphic description of the birth of the Ugandan President and his mother's vagina to criticize his "oppression, suppression and repression" of the country, which he has ruled for over 30 years.
In early June, Nyanzi's legal team put it to Buganda Road Chief Magistrate Court that she had no case to answer and pushed for her immediate release. But the judgment went against her. She remains in jail and will start presenting her defense this week. Nyanzi has asked the court to summon 20 defense witnesses, including President Yoweri Museveni himself.
Nyanzi has been known in African academic and feminist circles for decades, but it's her provocative poetry about the 74-year-old President that has made her a household name in Uganda in recent years.
"Yoweri, they say it was your birthday yesterday. How horrifically cancerous a day!" reads part of the now infamous vagina poem.
"I wish the infectious dirty-brown discharge flooding Esiteri's [Museveni's mother's] loose pussy had drowned you to death / Drowned you as vilely as you have sank and murdered the dreams and aspirations of millions of youths who languish in the deep sea of massive unemployment, and under-emplyment (sic) in Uganda."
While the language and imagery in Nyanzi's poetry may seem shocking, she said this "rudeness" is "the only option."
"Politeness has been taken, it's been held captive, and they don't listen any more. So sometimes all you have to say is 'f*** it!'" Nyanzi said about the Ugandan government, slamming down her fist.
"And then people will hear and take you seriously."
"Radical rudeness," which began as a form of anti-colonial dissent in Uganda, calls the powerful in society to account through public insult. Over the past year, two other women have been arrested for using similarly rude rhetoric to criticize the government -- one for allegedly threatening to hit the President with her genitals. The women, who were protesting the arrest of the musician-turned-politician who goes by his stage name of Bobi Wine, both retracted their comments. Ugandan women have also used nudity as a form of protest in recent years.
In this challenging climate, it came as a surprise to many when Nyanzi turned down the option of posting bail.
"Bail to go and do what? Bail to go where? To go back and still live in fear every time I write a Facebook post?" she asked. Her case continues this week in court.

In a major onslaught against rapists, operatives of the Lagos State police command have arrested a 68-year old man who allegedly raped his daughter and friends.
According to the Lagos State police spokesman, Bala Elkana, who confirmed the arrest, “on June 27, at about 2:00p.m. the victim (name withheld) reported a case of defilement at Imota Police Station against her father, one Yisah Showunmi, 68.
The survivor alleged that her father has been having s-xual intercourse with her for the past three years. She further alleged that when her two friends (names withheld) ages 15 and 16 came to stay in their house, her father also had s-xual intercourse with them. She further noted that the last incident occurred on June 23. The suspect, however, confessed to the crime.
Some hoodlums have attacked the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Aguleri, in the Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Southern City News gathered that the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday.
A source, who pleaded anonymity, told a Punch correspondent that the bandits got into the church compound around 3am and unleashed terror on some of the residents.
The source said, “Information has it that the hoodlums neither came to steal nor to dispossess the residents of their belongings, but their mission was to capture and kill the resident priest, whom they couldn’t get due to their inability to find their way to his apartment upstairs.
“They had placed a ladder on the wall of the one-storey building to achieve their set target. The church teacher (catechist), Christopher Chukwu, who had come out in the dead of the night to ease himself, saw strange torchlight on the church premises.
“He (Chukwu) proceeded to the direction of the light to ascertain what it was only for the hoodlums to pounce on him, dealing him several machete blows.
“His cry for help alerted the Parish Priest, Akachukwu Ikedilo, and the gardener, Matthew Nwude.
The gardener suffered the same fate as the catechist in the hands of the hoodlums.”
Speaking with journalists, Rev. Ikedilo described the incident as horrifying.
“The miscreants attacked them with machetes and axes. The church teacher and gardener were
inflicted with severe injuries and left in a pool of their own blood,” he stated.
The President-General of the community, Hipo Onwuegbuke, said he got a distress call around 3.45am from someone who lived close to the church that the place was under siege.
“I immediately alerted the police and local vigilantes, who went to the church premises. Unfortunately, the miscreants had escaped through a neighbouring community,” Onwuegbuke stated.
“The man is still in hospital receiving treatment as we speak now. We have gone to the police and made statements, and the bishop of the diocese knows about the development.”
He disagreed with a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Haruna Mohammed, that the incident was a case of armed robbery.
Mohammed had earlier said in a statement issued after the incident that the intruders were on an armed robbery operation.
