We already reported how a judge ruled yesterday that R.Kelly will not be released from prison ahead of his federal court trials.
More details from the court hearing reveals that the federal prosecutors told the court they are in possession of three tapes which show the singer r*ping a girl, 14, and then subjecting her to 'sadomasochistic abuse.'
Kelly is seen in close-up and two of the tapes were filmed in rooms that are distinctly similar to ones in the singer's former home.
Prosecutors also said that the victim's age is said fifteen times on one of the r*pe tapes.
The singer's lawyer Steve Greenberg responded by presenting his client as a broke family man with an aversion to flying, and even confirmed that the singer is in fact 'illiterate' in his failed bid to convince the court that Kelly was not a flight risk.
'Unlike his most famous song - I Believe I Can Fly - Mr. Kelly doesn't like to fly,' declared Greenberg at one point in the proceedings,
That dated, and arguably false, statement failed to convince Judge Leinenweber however, who denied the singer's request for bond and then arraigned him on the indictment filed in Illinois last week.
Kelly entered a plea of not guilty. He faces 195 years in prison if convicted on the Illinois charges.

The Consul General, CG, of Nigeria in New York, Mr Benaoyagha Okoyen, on Tuesday, advised jobless and homeless Nigerians in the United States to return home, saying that the consulate was ready to assist those willing to return.
Speaking at a conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) hosted by the consulate in New York, Okoyen disclosed that the provision of accommodation for homeless Nigerians was not part of the consulate’s mandate.
According to him, the best his office can do in such circumstance is to counsel affected persons.
According to NAN, the CG was responding to appeals by some conference participants, who drew his attention to the plight of many Nigerians suffering in the streets of New York and elsewhere in the country.
The consul general, who admitted that many Nigerians were truly suffering, said that only persons living honestly in the US were entitled to consular services in an event of ill treatment.
“When they come to us we always advise them that home is home. It is not part of our mandate to start looking for accommodation for you here.
“What we can do is that if you are unjustly treated, we intervene with the relevant authorities to make sure that your right is respected.
“And that means that your stay here is legal; you must also not have committed any crime that warrants whatever treatment that you are getting.
“We will at all times intervene in circumstances like that. But the best thing is that if you have nothing doing, I advise you go back home,’’ he said.

One of South Africa's most celebrated musicians, Johnny Clegg, has died at the age of 66, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Known as the "white Zulu", he was a vocal critic of the apartheid government which ruled until 1994.
The British-born musician, who uniquely blended western and Zulu music, was diagnosed with cancer in 2015.
His best known hit Asimbonanga, released in 1987, was dedicated to Nelson Mandela.
Meaning "We have not seen him" in Zulu, the song was one of the first to openly call for Mandela's release.
At the time, the future first black president of South Africa was still in jail and considered a threat to the apartheid state.
Clegg - a white man who learnt to speak and sing in Zulu - became a symbol of democratic South Africa and was chosen to sing at Nelson Mandela's memorial service in 2013. RIP

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has disowned the purported visit by some of its members to the Common Wealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) where they indicated their support for embattled Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.
The pastors, led by the North Central Chairman of CAN, Revd. Israel Akanji, visited COZA church in Abuja and promised Fatoyinbo, who was accused of rape by Busola Dakolo that the Christian body would stand by him.
CAN, in a statement by its National Director of Legal and Public Affairs, Evangelist Kwamkur Samuel Vondip, said the pastors who had visited the church were on their own and that the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria had set up a panel to investigate the r-pe allegation against Fatoyinbo.
According to the statement, CAN did not approve the purported visit.

“We can tell you PFN has constituted a panel investigating the matter, and in less than two weeks, the outcome of the investigation will come out.
“We urge all Christian brothers and sisters to know that this is the position of CAN. We would not spare anyone found wanting from facing appropriate disciplinary actions,” the statement said.
