Shina Peller on Sunday held remembrance prayers for his dad, Professor Peller, a magician in the city of Ibadan who was assassinated 22 years ago. She shared photos from the remembrance ceremony saying;
''Yesterday at the Remembrance Prayers for my Dad. It’s been 22 years since he was cruelly taken away from us. May his soul continue to rest in peace.''
A bride has cancelled her wedding in savage email. The reason Susan has had to cancel her wedding is because her guests refused to pay $1,500 towards it EACH.
In a Facebook post shared to Mumsnet, details of Susan's demands emerge, and, to put it mildly, it's all a bit too much.
"Dear friends," it begins, "it comes with great sadness that I am announcing the cancellation of the wedding. I apologise for cancelling only four days beforehand.
"Unfortunately, [fiance] and I have broken up due to some recent and irreparable problems. We have decided to end our relationship and not go forth with any future proceedings."
The issue was a cashflow problem, with guests refusing to stump up hundreds of pounds to bankroll her "exclusive" day.
She continues: "I specifically, I mean specifically asked for cash gifts. How could we have our wedding that we dreamed of without proper funding?
"We'd sacrificed so much and only asked each guest for around $1,500
"My maid of honour pledged $5,000 along with her planning services. We tearfully thanked and accepted. My ex's family offered to contribute $3,000."
Frankly, we're amazed anybody person coughed up, nevermind eight.

12 Nigerians have been arrested at Weija in the Greater Accra Region for holding a 20-year-old woman hostage.
The suspects were arrested after the father of the victim lodged a complaint with the police after his daughter went missing for days.
The suspects, according to reports, all live in the same apartment close to Weija STC.
Tentative investigation reveals all the 12 suspects do not possess the requisite documents to be in the country and were also suspected to be engaged in cyber fraud.
They are set to be arraigned before the court on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, while the Ghana Immigration Service has since been notified in order to repatriate them.
According to a report the names of the suspects are Ose Winner, Oladide Ola Promise, Algbe Joseph, Edogiawerie Aisosa, Osazee Benjamin, Elis Imasuen, Emmanuel Daniel, John Miracle, Emulankpa Godwin, Osaro Kelvin, Oso Kenny and Oghneyerhowa Nelson.
According to the victim, she was also sexually molested by one of them who through social media lured her to the location under the guise of dating her where her movement was restricted thereafter.
Sakina Grimwood, a lecturer at Varsity College in Cape Town, South Africa has been found dead two days after she went missing.
Grimwood's body was discovered at the bottom of a Gorge on Table Mountain on Friday afternoon. She was last seen leaving Newlands home on Wednesday at 13:30.
Her father, Muhdni Grimwood, told Netwerk24 foul play could not be ruled out yet, and the family found it hard to deal with their death.
Speaking about her death, her sister, Zahira, said they were "devastated" because of Grimwood's "the darling of the family".

Fascinating footage has emerged of a monkey properly using a outdoor tap to drink water in northern India.
The thirsty primate was spotted chugging fresh water before turning off the tap after quenching its thirst.
The incident was filmed on camera near a railway station in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh on July 30. It is believed that the tap was still running when the small animal approached it.
The video shows the monkey having climbed onto a small ledge to get up to the water source.
After checking the coast was clear, the monkey took several large swigs from the tap.
As the person filming the monkey approached however, it looked straight at the camera and decided it was time to head off. Pretty cool!

Femi Falana, lawyer to leader of Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky said the man has not been released yet.

The President of the Senate, Dr. Ahmad Lawan, on Monday departed Abuja for Saudi Arabia to join millions of Muslim faithful from around the world who are gathered in the Holy Land for this year’s Hajj.
A statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Senate President, Ola Awoniyi, said Dr. Lawan, while in the Holy Land, will seize the opportunity to pray for the peace, unity and progress of Nigeria.
He will also pray for the success of the ninth National Assembly, now on annual recess, as the lawmakers engage themselves in Legislative activities for the betterment and advancement of the country.
Dr. Lawan is expected back home as soon as the Hajj rites are over.
Omoyele Sowore, a Nigerian activist arrested on Saturday, has spoken from detention.
According to Sahara Reporters, his media platform, Mr Sowore maintained a spirit of defiance when associates visited him in the custody of the State Security Service on Monday evening, two days after his arrest.
“I am pleased that the peaceful #RevolutionNow protests went ahead,” Mr Sowore told members of the ‘Take It Back’, one of the numerous social platforms he has been using to champion the course for a better Nigeria.
The US Treasury Department on Monday labelled China a currency manipulator, escalating the U.S.-China trade war.
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin designated China a currency-manipulating country a day after the nation’s central bank allowed the Chinese yuan to fall to a new low against the U.S. dollar and trigger the biggest slump this year of US stocks.
“Secretary Mnuchin, under the auspices of President Trump, has today determined that China is a Currency Manipulator,” the department said in a statement.
“As a result of this determination, Secretary Mnuchin will engage with the International Monetary Fund to eliminate the unfair competitive advantage created by China’s latest actions.”
The devaluation of the yuan reduces the relative price for Chinese goods purchased abroad, making U.S. products comparatively more expensive for foreign buyers.
The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) typically holds the yuan within a certain stabilizing range, though the nation has long been accused of devaluing its currency to gain an edge in trade.
Trump had long promised to label China a currency manipulator, which opens the country to potential international penalties.
And on Monday, he accused Beijing again of devaluing its currency to gain an unfair edge in trade after the yuan-to-dollar exchange rate fell to a low of 7 to 1. The move was widely seen as a response to new U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods slated to go into effect on September 1.
The Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams has appealed to the Federal Government to release the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore who was picked up at his home over the weekend.
Reacting in a statement, Adams said the arrest was an abuse of human right to freedom, stating that the planned revolutionary protest could not be said to be treasonable since it was yet to be implemented before he was arrested by the DSS and to the best of his knowledge it is an harmless protest.
“Not everybody can have access to the presidency in Abuja. This is democracy, not militarism, where people are cowed and jailed over issues relating to their welfare.
“Sowore is an activist, and he was part of the struggle for this democracy. Therefore, he is entitled to express his feelings and that of Nigerians in a democratic setting.
“I think the Federal Government should consider his freedom as a panacea for peace. For instance, I wonder how a peaceful protest by harmless citizens will now turn to a treasonable felony.
“It is unfortunate that many of the people in the corridors of power today were part of the protests against former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015, but today the situation has changed.
Omoyele Sowore, chairman of the African Action Congress, AAC and convener of “Take it Back Movement; was on hunger strike for more than 48 hours, since his arrest by the operatives of the Department of State Services in Lagos on Saturday.
Rachel Onamusi-Kpiasi, Director, PR, Media and Communications, said the activist ended his hunger strike yesterday, after the DSS allowed him to receive some visitors. She did not indicate whether he is being detained in Lagos or Abuja.
She said Sowore had refused all meals since Saturday.
According to Rachel, the DSS officers allowed the guests to present him with food.
“We are also happy to confirm that Take it Back members will be allowed to bring him food daily as per his wishes”, she said.

Controversial singer R Kelly has been charged with sexual assault. The 52-year-old - real name Robert Kelly - was charged following a complaint by an underage girl. It was to have taken place in Minneapolis in 2001.
He faces two counts of prostitution and solicitation involving a girl under 18
The I Believe I Can Fly singer had 18 counts of serious sexual misconduct made against him last month in Chicago and New York.
On Monday he was charged with two counts of engaging in prostitution with an individual under 18 years old.
The star was offering 'to hire for sexual purposes a person under 18' according to Hennepin County State's Attorney Mike Freeman.
Kelly is accused of offering a girl he met who just wanted him to sign an autograph $200 to take her clothes off.
"We’re going to make sure that justice is done in Minnesota," Freeman said.
An Ekiti State High Court sitting in Ado Ekiti, on Monday, sentenced a 35-year-old clergyman, Gabriel Asateru, to five years imprisonment for molesting a minor.
Pronouncing the judgment, Justice Oluwatoyin Abodunde said, “The accused person stands guilty and is accordingly convicted to serve a prison term of five years and to also pay a sum of N50,000 fine as stipulated by the Child’s Rights Law, 2005.”
Asateru, who was accused of defiling a five-year-old girl on December 23, 2016, at Ifisin Ekiti in the Ido/Osi Local Government Area of the state, was charged with one count of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
Gunmen have killed the resident pastor of the Living Faith Church, Romi New Extension, in Kaduna State, Jeremiah Omolara.
The pastor’s wife, according to a source, was abducted. The incident was said to have taken place along Kaduna-Abuja Road while the pastor and the wife were traveling to Abuja.
The source said the gunmen opened fire on their vehicle, killing the pastor on the spot. They later took the wife into the bush.
The son, it was learnt, escaped from the bandits. The source added that the abductors were demanding N50m as ransom.
The Chairman of the state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Joseph Hayab, confirmed the incident.
