Former singer, Obiora Obiwon has explained what a good marriage is actually based on. According to Obiwon, it is not based on good sex, nor is it based on having enough money. Educating Nigerians on instagram, he wrote;
''In my little years married and from what I've seen, I realise:
1. Money does not make a good marriage
2. Great sex does not make a good marriage
3. Children do not make a good marriage
Surely these three things enhance marriage but they do not form the foundation. I opine that ultimately a good marriage is made of:
1. Two friends .
2. Fully and mutually yielded to God .
3. Fully and mutually submitted to each other; yielding humbly and unselfishly to one another - daily.
That to me is the foundation that withstands every thing in the world and the imperfections of our human nature. After these then the first 3 can be added as the icing on the cake. If you're reading this. My prayer for you is this foundation! Solid as a rock!
Nothing special. Just to say I love you @nkechisgram''

Actor and former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State, Richard Mofe-Damijo popularly known as RMD has lamented how he was abused by those who had easy access to him.
Sharing his experience with The Sun, RMD recounted how he often got requests from people who wanted to have relationship with him in different capacities.
“I never take it lightly, which is why I’m usually not quick to jump in on mentoring or being a father or brother figure, because I have been a victim of relationship abuse where people take their unlimited access to me for granted, forgetting that relationship is a currency.
“Relationships, irrespective of what type, have the power to serve as a capital. There are relationships that give you leverage, some people have gotten ahead in life because of who they married, who they worked with or for. One respected person’s endorsement could do more than financial capital, so it is important not to enter into relationship with the intent of giving nothing in return, there’s no way that would work, you must be willing to service whatever relationship you have,” he said.
RMD added: “Be skillful in relationship building by being selfless, unassuming and not feeling self-entitled. Respect boundaries, don’t be a user, be humble, accountable and have integrity. Have respect, more for yourself than the one you latch on to, because it is self-respect that restrains you from behaving in ways that put you in bad light.”

The Duke of York, Prince Andrew has been accused in court documents of touching a young woman’s breast at a Manhattan mansion.
It is believed the incident took place at the mansion of Jeffrey Epstein, a wealthy financier who is facing federal s-x trafficking charges in New York.
The allegation surfaced in a cache of legal papers unsealed by a US judge in a defamation case involving a British socialite, who is alleged to have supplied Epstein with underage girls.
Ghislaine Maxwell, a British socialite and media heiress is accused of procuring underage girls for Epstein and his circle of ‘rich and powerful friends.’
Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre sued Maxwell in 2015, after she alleged he defamed her by claiming she was a liar.
She also claimed that Epstein coerced her into s-xual encounters with Prince Andrew.
In the legal documents, released on Friday, Johanna Sjoberg, another alleged Epstein victim, said Andrew touched her breast while sitting on a couch inside the billionaire’s Manhattan apartment in 2001. Buckingham Palace denied the allegations, calling them ‘categorically untrue’.
In the court documents, Ms Sjoberg said: ‘I just remember someone suggesting a photo, and they told us to go get on the couch. And so Andrew and Virginia sat on the couch, and they put the puppet, the puppet on her lap.
‘And so then I sat on Andrew’s lap, and I believe on my own volition, and they took the puppet’s hands and put it on Virginia’s breast, and so Andrew put his on mine.’
The legal documents go on to claim that Ms Sjoberg was a ‘young college student’ who was approached by ‘perfect stranger’ Ms Maxwell, who ‘lured’ her to Epstein’s home with the promise of a ‘legitimate job’.

National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) on Saturday shutdown South Africa’s grocery chain, Shoprite at Ota in Ogun State.
A News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent in Ota reports that the students picketed the shopping mall to protest what they described as unrestrained xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
Scores of young Nigerians residing in South Africa have been brought home in body bags in recent years, having been killed in apparent xenophobic attacks in the former apartheid nation.
The Shoprite mall was shut down around 11:10 a.m. in the presence of policemen with shoppers horridly ordered out of the mall.
The students carried placards with inscriptions: “South Africans must go. Enough of the killing of our brothers, sisters and relatives in South Africa. You can’t continue to kill our people and still feed fat on us.’’
Speaking with reporters, the National Public Relations Officer of NANS, Mr Azeez Adeyemi, said that “NANS’ leadership under its President, Mr Danielson Bamidele, has resolved to champion the struggle of putting sense back into lawless South Africans.
“It seems the government of South Africa derives pleasure from the senseless killings and sees the continuous xenophobic attacks on Nigerians residents in South Africa as a norm.
“NANS’ struggle against xenophobia has moved beyond ordinary street protests.
“Our target now is to mobilise Nigerian students and Nigerians towards truncating the smooth running of South African businesses in Nigeria.
“We shall resume here at Shoprite, Stanbic IBTC, MTN and Multichoice on Aug. 14 for a total shut down.
“This is a struggle that will continue until victory of purpose is achieved,” Adeyemi said.
Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a male Nigerian national over the alleged swindle of a man in Setagaya Ward earlier this year.
In April and May, the suspect, 36, allegedly defrauded the man, aged in his 50s, out of a total of 3 million yen.
The suspect denies the allegations, telling police he collected the “money to buy a car on behalf of an acquaintance.”
In carrying out the ruse, the suspect posed as an employee of a foreign bank in calling the victim on the telephone. “You can legally collect 400 million yen in an inheritance from a Japanese person with your same surname who died in Libya,” he falsely told the victim.
The victim then sent the money to the bank account of the suspect to cover the preparation of documents necessary to receive the claimed inheritance which inturn was used for his own personal expenses.
Neymar has released a statement after a judge in Brazil ordered the closure of the investigation into claims the football star raped a model in a Paris hotel room in May.
The Brazil and Paris Saint-Germain forward was accused of raping model Najila Trindade Mendes de Souza in the French capital on May 15.
However, this week Brazilian prosecutors followed the police recommendation that the case be dropped due to a lack of evidence.
Neymar, 27, had repeatedly rejected the accusations and released a statement on his Instagram account of Friday saying that his “world had come crashing down” but that he was “relieved” the case was now closed.
"This has been a stage in my life I'll never forget for many reasons. Mainly for the damage it has caused me, my family and the people who really know me. If I'm being honest, I can't say I'm happy, more relieved. This scar will remind me that human beings can do good things, but also the worst.
"Yes, my world has come crashing down and hit the ground. But as a jiu-jitsu legend once said: the ground is the final of everything, but for us it's just the beginning," he wrote in Portuguese.
Amidst the hostility of Nigerian students to South African companies in Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted an invitation to visit his South African counterpart in October.
According to a statement by Garba Shehu, SSA to President Buhari, Buhari and President Cyril Ramaphosa, will seize the visit to discuss issues relating to wellbeing of citizens and ways to further strengthen trade relations between the two largest African economies.
In a telephone conversation with the South African leader at his country home in Daura, Katsina State, President Buhari accepted an invitation to visit the country to further “consider recurrent issues concerning wellbeing of the Nigerian community in South Africa, and the need to promote trade and investment.’’
The statement was vague on the main issues concerning Nigerians and the South African people and police authorities, over the issue of xenophobia and the rampant killings of Nigerians in the country.
In an earlier letter of invitation, the South African President said:
“Your visit will provide an excellent opportunity for our sister countries to further consolidate and advance our strategic partnership and cooperation on matters of peace, security and socio-economic development in our continent.
“We will discuss issues of mutual interest and concern in global governance.’’
President Ramaphosa said the meeting will provide an opportunity to inaugurate a Bi-national commission for both countries to “effect the strategic decisions taken in 2016 to elevate it to the level of Heads of State.’’

It was gathered that immediately the woman was shot, a mob seized one of the policemen and attempted to lynch him after beating him mercilessly.
The mob was said to have taken the policeman to a traditional ruler in Ijegun.
An eye witness, Adesina Ayodele said the woman “was in her shop at Ijegun junction, Ijagemo road while some member of the SARS were chasing some yahoo boys, spraying bullets and a stray bullet eventually caught her. The members of the SARS had to run for their lives while youth were on the street trying to bring them out.
“The boys caught two of them in the swamp and took them to the Palace of Oba Ijegun.”
According to a resident in the area, the road in front of the King’s palace was impassable at the moment, while vehicle movements had been diverted into a nearby street to access Ijegun bus stop.
But Elkana disclosed that a policeman was killed while two others were injured during the fracas, adding that the police had deployed more men to the area to maintain peace.
“They were Anti-Kidnap, not SARS operatives. We don’t have the details of what happened for now. But the mob has killed one policeman and injured two. The area is still tense. But we are handling it,” he said.
