Badoo Boys resurface in Ibadan, Kill six people

Serial ritual killers suspected to be Badoo boys have stormed different parts of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, killing six persons at three different locations within the past one month.

Daily Sun exclusively gathered that the three incidents followed the same pattern as the assailants were said to have been striking their targets around 10am, operating like Badoo boys that terrorised Ikorodu in Lagos State recently.

The three incidents occurred in Akinyele Local Government Area of the state. There is an apprehension, however, that the serial ritual killers may actually move to other suburbs of Ibadan to kill for money ritual.

The Badoo boys resurfaced in Oyo State, many months after they were conquered in Lagos State.

Khloe Kardashian praises ex-husband Lamar Odom for sharing addiction struggles in new memoir

Today marks ten years that she met her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, before marrying him one month and one day later, on September 27, 2009.

And while the couple went through their ups and downs very publicly before making their separate ways in 2013, Khloe Kardashian proved she had nothing but nice things to say about her ex.

In a Keeping Up With The Kardashians promo, the 35-year-old is seen talking to sister Kim about Lamar's new memoir that details behind-the-scenes of their lives, including his struggles with alcohol and drugs.

'The article came out today about what Lamar wrote about,' Khloe began, revealing momager, Kris Jenner, had sent it to her.


When Kim asked about how she felt about the press the NBA star was doing, she said she was 'fine' with it.

'It's his truth, he's allowed to tell his version. Him and I each played a significant role in each other's lives so I think it's natural, like, if I talk about my past, I would hope that my marriage would be a chapter that I would talk about and for him, the same thing.'

Khloe continued praising her ex for telling his truth, revealing that there was a lot of topics she never felt she had the right to open up about, despite being married to Lamar.

'If this is his story to tell - a lot of this stuff was never my place to ever talk about, but, it's definitely his place, it's happened to him.'

The Good American went on to call the professional athlete 'courageous' for sharing his dark past.

'If this is a form of his healing or therapy then I actually think it's really courageous to talk about the amount of addiction he's had, like the depths of it.'

She continued: 'So it doesn't bother me, I appreciate that it's so honest.

Khloe also praised her ex for admitting he liked filming the Keeping Up With The Kardashians and their spin-off, Khloe and Lamar - revealing it was him who pushed for the show.

Lamar's biography, Darkness to Light: A Memoir, was released at the end of May 2019.

Prince Harry is left devastated after his heroic friend 'killed himself' aged 37

The Duke of Sussex has been left devastated after a friend who trained him for his tough trek to the South Pole in 2013 died aged just 37.

Jules Roberts was found dead on August 5 and later cremated in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. It is thought he took his own life, according to the Sunday Mirror.

Prince Harry, 34, and the charity chief executive were said to have 'hit it off from the moment they met' and the royal sent a private note to the funeral.

A source said Harry was 'very upset' and the death of his friend had 'come as a real shock.'

As well as a thoughtful note, Harry also sent flowers to the funeral for Jules' wife Francesca and their two-year-old daughter.

Emmanuel Macron furious after Brazil's president mocks his wife’s looks

Emmanuel Macron has condemned his Brazilian counterpart Jair Bolsonaro for "extraordinarily disrespectful comments" about his wife as a clash between the two over the Amazon turned personal.

In a post on Jair Bolsonaro's Facebook page, a user insulted the French first lady, Brigitte, by comparing her appearance with that of the Brazilian president's wife, Michelle, implying that the younger woman was more attractive.

The supporter suggested Mr Macron was jealous, and that that was why he was “persecuting” the Brazilian leader.

Mr Bolsonaro hit “like” on the post, writing: "Don't humiliate the guy... ha ha."


When asked for his response by reporters at the G7 summit in Biarritz, Mr Macron said: “He has made some extraordinarily rude comments about my wife.

"What can I tell you? It's sad. It's sad for him and for Brazilians. I think that Brazilian women are probably ashamed to read that their president has done that."

"I think that Brazilians, a great people, are a bit ashamed of this behaviour," the French president added. "As I have a lot of friendship and respect for the Brazilian people, I hope that they will quickly have a president who is up to the job."

Serena dominates Sharapova in US Open 1st round

Serena Williams made the perfect return to the US Open after last year's controversial final by thrashing her long-time rival Maria Sharapova.

Williams, 37, won 6-1 6-1 in a first-round meeting which ended up lasting just 59 minutes.

‘Commercial s.e.x worker’ found dead in hotel

A suspected commercial s.e.x worker in her mid-20s has been found dead in a hotel at Amukpe in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.

The woman’s remains were allegedly discovered underneath a bed in a room at the hotel.

The incident is happening barely two weeks after another sex worker, Miss Miracle, also died in a similar circumstance in a hotel room.

The Nation gathered that prior to the discovery, other customers had lodged in the hotel, but unknowing to them a body was under the bed.


A senior police officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed the incident.

Police Commissioner Mr. Adeyinka Adeleke, who confirmed the incident, said the deceased was not a commercial sex worker.

He said: “The woman in question was not a prostitute. The police are on the trail of the culprits.”

Johansson tops Forbes highest-paid actresses list

Scarlett Johansson has topped Forbes' list of best-paid actresses for a second year - but is only the eighth highest paid actor overall.

The 34-year-old's income of $56m (£45.7m) lands her below seventh-placed male actor Adam Sandler.

She earned $15.5m (£12.6m) more than she did in 2018, thanks largely to the success of Avengers: Endgame. Modern family actor Sofia Vergara is the only other woman to break into the overall top 10.

Housewife kills husband to remarry ex-husband in Kebbi

A housewife in Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State has reportedly killed her husband so that she could go back to her former hubby.

According to the police, the suspect, Auta Singe, conspired with one Garba Hassan and Sahabi Garba at Sabon Gari Village, Illo district area of Bagudo to kill her husband, Abdullahi Shaho, to remarry her ex-spouse.

Commissioner of Police in the state, Garba Danjuma, confirmed the incident during a briefing with journalists.

He said the housewife and the two men conspired with have been arrested.

FBI-wanted suspect didn’t sponsor my election – Ihedioha

The Special Assistant to Governor Emeka Ihedioha on New Media, Izuchukwu Akwarandu, on Monday said Chika Odionyenma did not sponsor the election of his principal in Imo State

Odionyenma is one of the 77 suspected Nigerian fraudsters based on a recent list released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Akwarandu in a statement in Owerri said those who were linking Odionyenma’s alleged fraud dealings to the governor were being “mischievous.”

The governor’s aide said as of the time the governor appointed him into the committee that oversaw his inauguration, there was no fraud case hanging on his neck anywhere in the world.


He explained that Odionyenma’s alleged fraud case was a personal issue and that it had nothing to do with the governor or the Imo State Government.

He said Ihedioha attended some of the programmes that Odionyenma organised because they were meant to empower the people.

Akwarandu also noted that Ihedioha attended the programmes based on the consideration that Odionyenma is an indigene of the state.

He said, “He (Akwarandu) is an Imo State son and it was in that capacity that the governor attended the programmes that he organised. Moreover, those programmes were meant to empower the people and you know that the governor is a man of the people.

 “It is important to note that as of the time the governor appointed him into the inauguration committee, there was no fraud case hanging around his (Odionyenma) neck anywhere in the world.”

Chris Brown is expecting a baby boy with ex-girlfriend

It appears that singer Chris Brown is going to be a proud new papa once again, and this time, it's a boy.

Court okays indirect primary for Kogi APC

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday dismissed a suit challenging the decision of the All Progressives Congress to adopt indirect primary for nominating its candidate for the forthcoming November 16, 2019 Governorship Election in Kogi State.

The judge, Justice Taiwo Taiwo, upheld the preliminary objections filed by the APC to challenge the suit, in ruling that the suit had been caught by the statute of limitation.

He said it was needless to go into the proprietary of the party’s choice of indirect primary since the court lacked the jurisdiction to hear the case on merit having been statute-barred.

Buhari’s government wants to frame Obasanjo - Atiku

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the February 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar, on Monday raised the alarm that President Muhammadu Buhari’s government was desperately plotting to frame former President Olusegun Obasanjo to stop him from criticising Buhari’s administration.

 Atiku, in a statement by his media office, also alleged that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission was feeding members of the media with deliberate falsehoods in an attempt to cause disaffection between him and Obasanjo on one hand, and between Obasanjo and Nigerians in general.
He said, “The truth is that there is desperation on the part of the current administration to rope in former President Olusegun Obasanjo into a crime as a way of silencing his voice, which they see as the preeminent critical voice against the misrule that they have foisted on Nigerians.”
