Family members of the deceased ex-president confirmed the development. According to Mugabe’s nephew, Leo Mugabe, Mugabe was a chief and he would be given a traditional burial.
He said, “Mugabe was a chief and he will be buried in accordance with tradition. The chiefs have not told us where he will be buried, so it is not clear yet. I also don’t know” .

Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, on Tuesday disclosed that six bandits had been released from the government’s custody, saying that the bandits in the state would in turn release 20 kidnapped persons.
He made the disclosure in a chat with newsmen shortly before he went into a closed-door meeting to perfect the release of the bandits.
Four repentant bandits had earlier on Monday night handed over two AK 47 rifles and ammunition to the governor at Shinfida village in the Jibia Local Government Area of the state.
They are Abdullahi Mairafi, Audu Danda, Ardo Nashawali and Sale Dangote. The repentant bandits also renounced banditry and promised to work for peace in the state.
New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection and one of the NFL’s biggest stars, has been accused of raping a woman who formerly worked as his physical trainer, according to a federal lawsuit.
The civil complaint filed on Tuesday in US district court for the southern district of Florida alleges Brown sexually assaulted Britney Taylor, a gymnast he met while they attended Central Michigan University together.
The lawsuit, a copy of which has been obtained by the Guardian, accuses Brown of assaulting Taylor on three separate occasions, twice in June 2017 and a third in May 2018, saying he “preyed on [her] kindness and her religious devotion, casting himself as a person equally dedicated to his religious faith and someone she could trust”.
Brown’s attorney, Darren Heitner, said in a statement issued Tuesday night the receiver “denies each and every allegation in the lawsuit” and that he and Taylor were involved in an “entirely consensual” personal relationship, describing the allegations as a “money grab”.
Heitner said they will pursue “all legal remedies to not only clear [Brown’s] name, but to also protect other professional athletes against false accusations”, and later added the wide receiver “will leave no stone unturned and will aggressively defend himself, including exercising all of his rights in countersuits”.

His good friend Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson said Monday that Kevin Hart is 'doing very well' after injuring his back in a solo car crash September 1.
And on Tuesday, TMZ reported that the comedian and actor is set to leave hospital today or tomorrow.

Police in Sao Paulo said Tuesday they will bring extortion and slander charges against a Brazilian model who accused football star Neymar of rape.
Najila Trindade filed a rape complaint with Sao Paulo police upon her return from a trip to Paris in May in which she said she was assaulted by Neymar following a pre-arranged meeting.
A final decision on whether to prosecute Trindade will be left to a judge. Neymar, the world’s most expensive footballer, has always protested his innocence, saying their relations were consensual.
The case complicated an already tumultuous year for the 27-year-old Brazil star, who has yet to play for his club Paris Saint-Germain this season following injury and reports of an aborted return to previous club Barcelona.
A 20-year-old man, Mustapha Aliyu has been arrested for throwing his four months old son into river Uti in Borgu local government area of Niger state.
The Corpse of the baby is yet to be found. The Suspect, who was arrested by the Niger state Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), said he took the step because the mother of the baby refused to accept the baby and left him in his custody.
Mustapha, an indigene of Kebbi state who resides in Tamaniya village near Kainji in Borgu local government of the state was paraded by the NSCDC on Tuesday in Minna.
Confessing to the crime to newsmen in Minna, Mustapha said the baby was his son but he was not married to the mother.
He attributed his reason for throwing his son into the river as due to depression saying it was the work of the devil.
“I couldn’t take care of the baby alone. I was not happy that the mother left him with me. I do not even know what got into me. It is the devil handwork.”
A 24-year-old man, Ebenezer Olorunleke, said on Tuesday that his four-man gang killed his brother, Sunday Olorunleke, in his residence at the Abe Cocoa area of Ado Ekiti and stole his motorcycle on August 29, 2019, for being stingy.
Ebenezer said he and members of the gang invaded his brother’s residence, where they attacked Sunday with a knife and long screwdriver.
The suspect, who spoke at the Ekiti State Police Command headquarters, Ado Ekiti, where he was paraded, said his friends, who killed his brother, wanted to help him collect money from him because of his stinginess.
He stated, “I did not follow them inside the room, but upon realising that my brother had been stabbed and was shouting, I rushed in and wanted to rescue him, but he bit me and chopped off my finger.
“The guys later came to my house to attack me. They wanted to sell the motorcycle but I resisted it. I was thinking of coming to the police to report them when I was arrested with the motorcycle.”
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Asuquo Amba, said Ebenezer, who hails from Jege in Kogi State, killed his brother with a knife and screwdriver on August 29, 2019, and fled the scene.
“The suspect and three others invaded his brother’s home at the Abe Cocoa area of Okeila and stabbed him to death and stole his red Bajaj motorcycle with number plate ADK 100 UJ,” Amba stated.
The police boss, who noted that law enforcement agents were on the trail of Ebenezer’s accomplices, said items recovered from the suspect were a long screwdriver, knife and the motorcycle.
“The suspect and his accomplices stabbed Sunday in the stomach and pierced his intestine when his wife and children were not at home. Ebenezer has confessed to the crime,” the CP added.
A police source said the attackers drove a long nail into the deceased’s skull while struggling to rob him.
US President Donald Trump on Tuesday forced out John Bolton, his hawkish national security adviser with whom he had significant disagreements on Iran, Afghanistan and a cascade of other global challenges.
The two men offered opposing accounts on Bolton's less than friendly departure, a leave-taking example of what had been a fractious relationship almost from the start.
"I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House. I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the Administration," Trump tweeted.
