Toke Makinwa, Yvonne Jegede agree with Alibaba's post that says men feel insecure about women who wants to be successful

Alibaba has shared a post talking about how young women now take their lives seriously and trying to be the best at what they do and in reality. it has made some men 'weak' and not supporting. After the comedian dropped the post, Yvonne Jegede admitted it's the story of her life in one post , while Toke also said these are the ''issues''.

Alibaba's post below....

''And when the young ladies decide to pocket the achievements and advantages they have, so they can submit to a man in that their age bracket, many of these men have been sooo beaten by the tides of life, that they are too busy fighting the wife they should work with.
_
Any attempt by the wife to suggest to him to get up and do something to succeed, is treated as disrespect, nagging, pressure and sometimes stress.
_
One guy was so broken by the frustration of not having made it since he graduated in 2010, and still without a job, that he wanted his Assistant Manager fiance, to move to his father's house in Magodo, from the Oniru 2 bedroom, she presently occupied.
_
Why don't you move in with her and make your great moves from there? "Never. I can't marry and move into my wife's house." That is from a 32 year old guy, who still lives in his parents house.
_
Don't get me wrong ooo. The economy is messed up. Our politicians have not done much to drag us out of the down turn. After elections, they start working toward the next election.
_
The problem has left many young men, not ready to be married. They are not prepared or do not have what it takes to be a man that can take a woman as wife. And not just as wife, to even be able to provide as the head of the house.
_
So the few men who are loaded and ready, are few and in very high demand. Many ladies can hurt any other lady who tries to take any rare find, of such a man. Especially if he has a house, good job, good car, looks good, dresses well and has very few defects.
_
So what's the issue? The issue now, is that, even when these kind of young men, meet young ladies, who (by any reason) had a headstart, the young men are too faaaaaar behind, ill equipped and unprepared in the sourcing for opportunities and management of the relationship.
_
They are now slaves to ego, frustration, pride, peer pressure, poverty of mind and sometimes total disillusionment.
_
Look around. Don't say I told you. Everywhere. There are many, who don't know what to do, how to do it, where to do it, when to do it... Even with a Masters Degree in Bus Admin, LL''

Yomi Fabiyi wades into Lizzy Anjorin and Toyin Abraham's fight

Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has wadded into the war between Nollywood actresses, Liz Anjorin and Toyin Abraham. Yomi Fabiyi appealed to Liz Anjorin to 'cease fire'. In a lengthy instagram post, Yomi wrote;

''Dear Liz Anjorin, I want to humbly appeal to you to cease fire and find a means to officially channel your grieviancies to the leaders in our industry. I have no right to rubbish your plights or condemn your approach entirely, I don't know where your shoe hurts'.

Just for the sake of the industry, peace and posterity, find alternate means of registering your displeasure(s), since it is obvious something is hurting you and if not carefully done, the narratives may twist against you and your stand point.

The President, Mr Latin and his executives has listening ears and I am optimistic will ensure your plights are listened and attended to no matter whose ox is gored, please trust them on this. None of us is bigger than the industry. Do not join any in thinking otherwise.

Allowing the public and the fans be the judge in cases they have no clear understanding of or even the true personalities of most of us is unfair and unkind on them. We must conduct ourselves that we do not indulge or hoodwink the innocent followers into becoming agents of criminality in our names, that is not fanship, control your fans. Every sane person in a society will not accept that from anybody. You cannot exonerate yourself when the effect is full blown. Anybody can be the victim, even the fans, be guided.

However, I am in no position to judge or condemn you on this matter, but whatever you do, please leave room for reconciliation and peace, at least to the best of your ability before God and before man.

You already apologized to your folks yesterday, that is lovely and mature. Hopefully appropiate corrections and steps are taken to guarantee peace on and offline in this industry. Any over stretched negativity from any of us, the major casuality is the INDUSTRY, think twice dear.

I wish you well in your endeavours and send to my regards to your daughter.

Thanks for reading mate.

NB: Apologies for making this public, some things are better done this way. No malice is intended. I care for you and every of our colleagues. LET US FIND PEACE AND IN THE RIGHT WAY''.

Kenya Moore splits from husband after two years

Kenya Moore is calling it quits with her husband, Marc Daly, after just over 2 years of marriage.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star says it's with "profound sadness" that she is divorcing Daly. She adds ... "Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage."

Kenya added, in a statement to People, her daughter, Brooklyn, is and will always be her sole focus and concern.

Daly reportedly says he made the decision to split from Kenya, but they will continue to co-parent their daughter in a loving way. He also issued a thinly-veiled legal threat, saying ... "Rumors, innuendo or false accusations only serve to hurt our family and will be addressed through counsel as the law permits."

Kenya and Marc tied the knot in a surprise ceremony in St. Lucia in June 2017. After struggling to get pregnant for months, Kenya posted an ultrasound in June 2018 to prove she was expecting at age 49. She gave birth to Brooklyn -- who she calls her "miracle baby" -- in November.

Kevin Hart is back home and can't believe he's alive

Kevin Hart has checked out of his in-patient rehab facility and is back home where he's receiving intensive physical therapy, but the big takeaway ... he's "grateful" and "shocked" he's alive.

Sources very close to Kevin tells TMZ, he's looked at the photos of the car crash and can't believe anyone walked out alive.

The comedian messed up his back -- 3 spinal fractures that required fusion. He spent 10 days in the hospital under heavy pain meds and was then transferred to the in-patient facility, but he's home now.

He has a physical therapist coming to his house most days ... and he's doing lots of stretching and exercises with therapy bands. He's still in a lot of pain but says he's handling it without all the meds.

CAN raises alarm over govt’s quit notice order on Kaduna’s 110-year church

The Kaduna State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria has raised the alarm over a purported quit notice handed to one of its churches in Zaria, Kaduna State.

The Kaduna State Urban Planning Development Agency allegedly served the 110-year St. George Anglican Church, Sabon Gari, Zaria, a seven-day quit notice.

The notice also claimed that compensation had been duly paid to the church.

The quit notice, which was not dated, was addressed to House No. 27, Church House, Sabon Gari Market, Zaria which is St George’s Church.

It reads, “Reference to the directive given by the Executive Governor on the issue of market development which compensation has been duly paid.

“You are hereby directed to vacate your residence within seven (7) days from now, failure to comply will leave the Agency with no option than to evict you at your own expense. (from 19h – 24  September).”

The signatory of the notice did not include his name, but it was signed by the “Zonal head” of KASUPDA on behalf of the “Zonal Manager.”

It was gathered that the Agency planned to pull down the structure to pave the way for the expansion of the Sabon Gari Market.

The State CAN Chairman, Rev. Joseph Hayab in a statement on Thursday in Kaduna, faulted the quit notice.

Hayab noted that the quit notice smacks of foul play as according to him, such an order wouldn’t have emanated from the Governor of the State, Nasir El-Rufai.

Though in 2016, the Chairman claimed that the state had made such moves to relocate the church to pave ways for the expansion of the market but later realized that the Church had all valid documents.

The chairman in the statement entitled, ‘Governor Nasir El-Rufai should call KASUPDA to order,” partly stated, “We are alarmed and apprehensive about this if it is true that it is a directive from the governor. But we doubt much if the governor issued the directive.

“This is because in February  2016, the government made moves to relocate the church to pave way for the expansion of the market, but later realized that the Church has all valid documents and that even some parts of the market are on the church land.

“Following the presentation of the necessary documents by the church, the matter was resolved amicably.  We wish to state categorically that no compensation was paid to the church.

“Where did the KASUPDA officials get this false information that compensation had been paid?

“It should be noted that the church which was founded about 110 years ago, was liberal enough to allow the market in question to operate in some parts of its land. Is it now a crime to be liberal and accommodating?

“How could the governor revisit the issue which was resolved amicably in 2016, by issuing a 7-day quit?”

The CAN leader also called on the governor to immediately investigate the purported quit notice from KASUPDA and take prompt action.

“This will go a long way in allaying fears and apprehension among Christians in the state and the nation at large.

Nigeria seeks fresh $2.5bn loan from World Bank

The World Bank has said that it is in talks with Nigeria for a fresh loan of $2.5bn.

This is despite a $2.4bn loan obtained by Nigeria in 2018.

The Vice-President for the African division of the World Bank, Hafez Ghanem, said this during an interview with Bloomberg on Wednesday.

Ghanem said, “We’re talking about a new set of programs of about the same amount, it should be around $2.5bn.”

Faced with revenue shortfalls as the output and price of oil, Nigeria’s main export, fell in the past five years, President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has increased borrowing to finance government spending, with domestic debt at $55.6bn and foreign loans at $25.6bn.

To ease the mounting debt burden, Nigeria has sought more credit with low interest and long repayment periods from institutions including the World Bank and the African Development Bank, Punch reports.

10,000 living with HIV in Imo - Government

Imo State Government on Wednesday said about 10,000 yet-to-be people were living with HIV in the state.

The state Commissioner for Health, Dr Vin Udokwu, who spoke at the inauguration of the state HIV surge consortium in Owerri, the state capital, said the government was working hard to identify the 10,000 people living with HIV in the state.

Referring to the report of the 2018 Nigeria HIV/AIDS indicator and impact survey, the commissioner said the state would soon achieve the elusive epidemic control.

He said, “According to the survey, Imo State HIV prevalence has dropped. This means that out of every 100 Imo State residents, aged 15- 64 years, we have less than two people infected with HIV virus.

“This also implies that Imo State with a projected population of approximately 5.6 million has about 10,000 people living with HIV that are unidentified.  So, our collective responsibility as a state is to among other things identify these people, provide comprehensive care to them, halt the transmission of new infections and be among the first to reach the epidemic control target of September 2020.”

Tell Buhari to release Sowore, Kanu urges UN

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has asked the United Nations to prevail on President Muhammadu Buhari to release the convener of #Revolution now#, Omoyele Sowore and the Shiites leader, Sheikh El-Zakzaky.

IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said the demand formed part of the issues Kanu raised in a meeting with UN agencies recently.

Powerful added that the issue of rural grazing area, otherwise known as RUGA, was also raised in the meeting.

He said Kanu’s struggle to liberate his people had grown beyond Nigeria, adding that the issues were before the various arms and agencies of the United Nations.

He said, “Biafra’s case will no longer be ignored; it has been internationalised.”

He said Kanu demanded urgent action against the numerous rights abuses inflicted on his people and the need to support the undeniable right of the Biafran people to self-determination as enshrined in laws, statutes and UN conventions.

The statement read in part, “Every issue concerning our people is now before the various arms and agencies of the United Nations. Our case will no longer be ignored.

“The case of RUGA settlement was also raised in the meeting.

“Incessant killing of Biafrans in their own land by terrorist Fulani herdsmen, extortion and killing of Biafran motorcyclists and commercial drivers by Nigerian army and police over refusal to give N50 bribery.”

Man injects petroleum jelly into his pen!s to make it bigger but it attracted a flesh-eating bug instead

A man's pen!s rotted after he injected it with petroleum jelly to try and make his member bigger, doctors have revealed.

The unnamed man, from the South Pacific islands, visited A&E feeling unwell and suffering from itchiness on his pen!s for five days.

He recalled injecting himself with petroleum jelly - the main ingredient in Vaseline - two years ago after his doctors quizzed him on his s-xual behaviour.

The penile shaft was 'grossly deformed' due to gangrene, with rotting flesh and a build-up of pus.

The man was rushed into emergency surgery, and endured two more operations to save the remains of his genitals.

After multiple skin grafts, the 45-year-old was able to return home a month later.

Dr Amer Amin, St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney, published the tale in the journal Urology Case Reports.

He recalled treating an 'unwell looking man', who was feeling weak and suffering fevers when he sought help.

Upon examination, doctors found his penis was tender, had a severe build-up of fluids, and patches of visible rotting flesh.

He was diagnosed with Fournier's gangrene, a life-threatening and rapidly progressing 'flesh-eating bug' of the genitals.

Dr Amin said the patient reported the practice was fairly common where he lived.
