Youtube stars end their open marriage just FIVE MONTHS after tying the knot

Youtube stars, Tana Mongeau and Jake Paul have ended their 'open marriage' just five months after tying the knot in Las Vegas.

The social media stars, aged 21 and 22 respectively, announced they had called time on their eight-month relationship via their Instagram pages on Thursday, insisting they will remain friends and 'always love' each other.

The split comes just days after Tana admitted she was 'so unhappy' about certain aspects of the marriage and said 'so many things keep hurting her'.

'OK i don't rly know how to do a 'we're taking a break' post & this is weird as f***... i'm happy to still be able to sit with Jake and laugh as we do this- but for right now we both are taking a break to focus on our own very crazy lives,' Mongeau began.


'I'll never know what the future holds and i will always love Jake and everything we did. I'm grateful to know throughout this I've made a best friend for life & found someone to do life with when no one understood me,' she added.

'Here's to 2020, working on us, and my new Lamborghini since i get half of everything! No need for crazy speculations- this is coming from a place of nothing but love. I love u Jakey. thank u for this past year,' she concluded.
Paul took to Instagram to share the same photo with his own caption about the divorce, saying he would get custody of their golden retriever Thor, while Tana will get their Lamborghini.

'As Tana and I sit next to each other writing captions about taking a break we're literally laughing at how crazy and stupid the past couple months have been and cracking jokes at how silly this all seems,' he began.

'I'm keeping custody of Thor but Tana unfortunately gets my Lamborghini. I wouldn't change anything that happened.. we're best friends and right now it's best for us to focus on our lives & see what the future holds,' he said.
Paul added: 'our friends started playing sad music while we were writing these captions and we all started laughing our a**es off.. this is bitter sweet but it's what's best for us right now).'

Like Mongeau stated in her post, Paul said, 'the last thing we wanna see is fan pages speculating 'what happened' we truly just need a second to focus on our own lives and ourselves. luv u mongeau. (sic)'.


In July, Tana made headlines for her shotgun wedding to Jake, which was later revealed to not be legally binding.

People accused the couple of getting married for views and money, but they claimed their love was real. The wedding was livestreamed and fans could pay $50 to watch the nuptials.

Captain America actress accused of killing her mother

An actress who had a small role in Captain America: The First Avenger has been arrested after she allegedly fatally stabbed her own mother.

Mollie Fitzgerald, a 38-year-old actress and director, is accused of attacking her mother in her own house. Patricia “Tee” Fitzgerald, 68, was found dead on Dec. 20 inside her home in Olathe, Kansas.

Mollie Fitzgerald has been charged with second-degree murder, PEOPLE confirms. She is being held on $500,000 bond at the Johnson County Jail.

According to the Kansas City Star, the victim was in the process of moving back to Kansas City from Texas when she was killed. Police have not released a motive for the killing.


According to the IMDb, Mollie Fitzgerald has worked as a director and producer, mostly on independent short films. In 2011, she played Stark Girl in Captain America: The First Avenger.
Tee Fitzgerald’s family plans a funeral on Friday, according to an online obituary.

“Tee was one of the kindest people you could ever meet, she was always helping people and animals in need,” the family wrote in her obituary. “She loved sports and was an avid tennis player and was a huge fan of the Rockets and the NBA.”

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Terry Fitzgerald.

Her brother Gary Hunziker told the Kansas City Star that he knew few details about the circumstances surrounding his sister’s death.

“We were shocked,” he told the newspaper. “It doesn’t matter the circumstances — the loss of a sister is what it’s all about.”

Dad beats man after 'finding him n.a.k.e.d from waist down in his toddlers' bedroom'

A father battered a 60-year-old man after allegedly finding him n.a.k.e.d from the waist down in his toddlers' room.

Mark Stanley was left with horrific facial injuries after the fight and was arrested by police in Spotsylvania, Virginia.

Officers said the suspect, who is related to the two children he was allegedly in the room with, had suffered 'severe injuries' to his face.

The dad reportedly went to check on his two children and found Stanley, a visiting relative, in the bedroom with his kids, aged two and three.


It is said Stanley pushed him out of the room and then locked the door, although the dad was able to break into the room.

He then beat the suspect to a pulp and threatened to shoot him with a handgun, according to police.

Stanley had been charged with indecent liberties and domestic assault, while the father has not been charged although an investigation is underway.

Six tigers left to die in own excrement after owner moved abroad without them

Six tigers have been rescued from horrible conditions after being left to starve to death by their owner.

Animal rights activists in Ukraine were tipped off about the tigers on December 30 and discovered the beasts kept in a makeshift cage on Vodnikov Island in Kiev.

Evgheniya Prokopenko, one of the activists who joined the operation, shared video and pictures of the rescue operation.

According to local media, the tigers were locked in a private club that had apparently fallen into disuse.


It's understood that the owner, who has not been named, is a well-known Ukrainian but has moved abroad.

Evgheniya explained: "Almost half of the staff of the Holosiivskyi police department visited the site of the 'Tiger Club' together with rescue workers where we found six tigers in terrible conditions.

"We got a call saying they are being kept in a tiny aviary and that they are keeping people awake by roaring day and night.

"The aviaries where they are being housed were made of improvised materials.

"The conditions were shocking, three tigers lived in an 86-square-foot aviary in mud and their own waste, with no possibility to find a dry place."

According to the lawyer, the animals were so thirsty they were even drinking the liquid from the floor.

She added: "Another mature tiger lived in a 32-square-foot aviary while another two stayed in another one just a little larger."

When police arrived they found security guards looking after the place but nobody caring for the tigers.

Lawyer Prokopenko added: "We have launched criminal proceedings according to the first part of Article 299 (Cruelty to animals) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Poor oral hygiene can lead to birthing premature babies – Dentist

Dr Albert Akhidenor, a dentist says it is proven that poor hygiene of pregnant mothers can lead to delivering of premature babies and to low weight baby.

Akhidenor, who is the Chief Executive Officer, Community Oral Health Initiative, an NGO, disclosed this in Abuja.

He said that mothers with poor hygiene could easily transfer diseases to their babies through kisses.

According to him, the oral health of mothers will directly improve the health of their newborn babies.


In addition, Akhidenor said poor nutrition could also cause poor oral hygiene.

“For the teeth to develop very well, you need a balance diet.

“Diet filled with refined sugar and sweet is not healthy for the teeth. With poor diet, the whole formation of teeth is affected,’’ he said.

Akhidenor, however, expressed optimism that the 2020 National Oral Health Policy, formulated by the Federal Ministry of Health would address the burden of oral diseases in the country.

“An oral health policy helps to harness political, economic and socio-cultural factors at the individual, family, community, national and international levels.’’
He said that the policy would address poor access to oral care service if well implemented.

“By 2025, at least 50 per cent of the population should be able to have access to oral care.

“We are looking at a situation where all the Primary Health Care Centres in the country will have a dentist at that time.

“We are looking at all women having ante-natal clinic, have access to oral care information.

“We are also looking at the situation where oral health education is included in the science curriculum in schools so that children can be educated.’’

US announces countrywide ban on flavoured e-cigs

The US has announced a countrywide ban on some e-cigarette flavours amid concerns about vaping among teens. The ban applies to mint and fruit flavours that are offered in cartridge-based e-cigarettes, like the popular pods sold by Juul. The US will continue to allow menthol and tobacco flavours, as well as fruit flavours delivered in other ways. The action has been under consideration for more than a year, with several states passing similar rules. South Korea, India, Brazil are among the dozens of countries that have announced sweeping vaping bans. Others, like China, have announced restrictions.

Rapper DaBaby arrested in connection to robbery investigation

Miami police detained Charlotte rapper DaBaby Thursday for questioning in connection with a robbery earlier in the day, according to a statement.

The Miami Police Department said DaBaby has not been arrested. The case is “open and ongoing” but could not confirm the rapper’s involvement in the robbery, police said.

The 28-year-old Grammy-nominated rapper, whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, was in Miami Beach to perform with rappers Diddy and DJ Khaled on New Year’s Eve, NBC Miami reported.

Coachella 2020: Rage Against The Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean headline

Rage Against The Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean will headline Coachella festival this year.

It's the first time since 2016 without a female headliner - Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Ariana Grande have each had a slot in the past three years.

The Californian festival is held over two weekends each April with the same line-up appearing over both of them.

Lana Del Rey and Megan Thee Stallion and Summer Walker are among the female performers.
The line-up features a lot of British artists - from FKA Twigs and Lewis Capaldi to Calvin Harris, Slowthai, Dave and Yungblud.


Thom Yorke will be performing but without Radiohead, who headlined the festival in 2017. Next to his name is "Tomorrow's Modern Boxes" - a solo album from 2014.

Run The Jewels, Rex Orange County, DaBaby and Flume are just a few of the other acts performing.

Headliner Frank Ocean hasn't performed at Coachella since 2012, before the release of debut album Channel Orange.

Things are slightly different for him now - he's one of the 2010s' biggest acts and so popular that after rumours of an appearance at Camp Flog Gnaw festival, Drake was booed off stage when he came out instead of him.
The singer hasn't toured since the release of 2017's Blonde.

Rage Against The Machine meanwhile are headlining for the third time after doing the honours for the first-ever Coachella in 1999, and reuniting to do it again in 2007.

Childish Gambino, Tame Impala and Ariana Grande were the top names for last year's festival, with Kanye West bringing his gospel Sunday Service sound on the Sunday as well.

The first weekend of Coachella is already sold out, with presale registration for the second weekend now open.

Coachella takes place on the weekends of 10 and 17 April.

US kills top Iranian general in Baghdad air strike

Iran's most powerful military commander, General Qasem Soleimani, has been killed by a US air strike in Iraq.

The 62-year old spearheaded Iranian military operations in the Middle East as head of Iran's elite Quds Force.

He was killed at Baghdad airport, alongside local Iran-backed militias, early on Friday in a strike ordered by US President Donald Trump.

Gen Soleimani's killing marks a major escalation in tensions between Washington and Tehran.


Under his leadership, Iran had bolstered Hezbollah in Lebanon and other pro-Iranian militant groups, expanded Iran's military presence in Iraq and Syria and orchestrated Syria's offensive against rebel groups in the country's long civil war.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said "severe revenge awaits the criminals" behind the attack. He also announced three days of national mourning.

Cross River issues 7-day ultimatum to traders on illegal structures

The Cross River Government has given a 7-day ultimatum to traders on illegal structures along major streets in Calabar to relocate their businesses to Watt or Marian markets or face demolition.

The state Commissioner for Environment, Mr Mfon Bassey, gave the ultimatum on Friday in Calabar during an inspection tour from the Nipost office in Calabar down to Watt Market in view of clearing the hawking activities on the pedestrian way that impeded the free flow of persons and vehicles.

While addressing the hawkers at different points, Bassey said that the state government was committed to a clean and green environment, hence the need to relocate all roadside sellers back to the markets.


He told the hawkers that the ministry had earlier issued an ultimatum on Dec. 27, 2019, asking them to remove all illegal structures, shanties and containers from the roadside.

He said structures on drainages should be removed also to allow for a free flow of water when the rains come.

Bassey said the exercise was to ensure a more organised Calabar and prevent flooding during the rainy season.

He added that defaulters of the notice given would face stiffer sanctions and demolition of their structures.

Police arrest 4 cultists, recover gun in Enugu

The Police Command in Enugu State has arrested four suspected cultists for alleged unlawful possession of firearm at Agbogugu in Mbanabor community of Awgu Local Government Area.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Ebere Amaraizu, said in a statement on Friday in Enugu, and which was obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), that the suspects were arrested on Dec. 27.

Amaraizu said that one cut to size locally-made gun and one live cartridge was recovered from the suspects.

He noted that the feat was achieved by the Anti-Cult Unit of the command through intelligence information.

The police spokesman said that the suspects included Chidera Okafor, 20; Sochima Stanley, 25; Ekene Okoye, 18, and Christian Okeke, 34.

“The suspects were arrested on information following their cult activities where one member of Vikings confraternity group sustained axe cut inflicted on him by the arrested suspects,’’ he said.

Amaraizu said police operatives had commenced investigation on the matter.

In a related development, police operatives had arrested one Nonso Udeagu, 25, of Udi Road, Asata in Ogui within Enugu for unlawful possession of substance suspected to be cocaine.

Amaraizu said that five wraps of substance suspected to be cocaine were recovered from Udeagu, adding that the suspect was arrested on Dec. 19 at 11.30 p.m. along Udi Road by police operatives of Ogui Division.

According to him, investigation had commenced into the matter.

Demolition of Saraki’s property wicked – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned Thursday’s demolition of a property belonging to former Senate President Bukola Saraki by Kwara state government, describing it as vindictive and wicked.

It also regards the demolition as a recipe for crisis in the state.

In a press release signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, the party said “it is clear that the action of the state government is borne out of hatred and political intolerance, in furtherance of the larger plot by the APC and its administration to intimidate, suppress, hound, crush and silence opposition and dissenting voices in our country, in the bid to foist a siege mentality on the citizenry.


“The PDP dismisses the reasons being spewed by the APC administration for this New Year dastardly act as baseless, false and incongruous, as they fail to add up, to justify the ferocious invasion, harassment of citizens and demolition of the said property.

“The demolition is a complete subversion of rule of law as the matter is already in court. The APC-led Kwara state government could not wait for the outcome of the court process apparently because it knows that it is pursuing an illegal agenda.

“Nigerians know how the APC and its government have been hounding, harassing and dragging Senator Saraki around over trumped-up charges, for daring to be among compatriots at the forefront of the quest to rescue our nation from misrule and strangleholds of the APC and its cabal.”

The party, therefore, cautioned “the APC, its administration, and in this particular case, the Kwara state government, against crossing the boundaries and stretching the forbearance of the people, which is already causing a tension that could trigger serious unrest in our country.

“It is also instructive to note that in the years the PDP governed Kwara state, there was no case of government demolishing the property of opposition members or supporters under any guise whatsoever.

“Our party therefore stands with Senator Saraki and cautions the Kwara state government to henceforth steer clear of the property.”
