Pamela Anderson's ex-husband engaged to another woman just 3-weeks after their 12-day marriage crashed

Pamela Anderson’s ex-husband Jon Peters is ‘engaged again’ to another woman, a month after he married the model.

The Baywatch star shocked fans when she confirmed her marriage to the A Star Is Born producer on 20 January, following a secret wedding.

Sadly it wasn’t to last, and they called it quits just 12 days later – but it hasn’t put the 74-year-old off love, as he reportedly got down on one knee again. According to Us Weekly, he popped the question to new fiancée Julia Bernheim, with their happy news announced as he attended the NASDAQ Closing Bell on Thursday.

The publication states the producer is an investor in Neptune Wellness, and was a guest of CEO Michael Cammarata. Jon’s new engagement may come as a shock as he only split with Pammy days ago.

Mexico extradites son of powerful cartel leader to United States

Mexico extradited the son of one of its most wanted drug lords to the United States on Thursday, a source in the attorney general’s office said.

It is the latest sign of Mexico’s commitment to step up extraditions after U.S. President Donald Trump backed off from his threat to designate Mexican cartels as terrorist groups.

Ruben Oseguera, who was captured in 2015, was believed to be an important figure in his father’s gang, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. His father, Nemesio “El Mencho” Oseguera, remains at large.

“He was extradited today in the afternoon from the state of Sonora on a direct flight to Washington,” the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Reuters, referring to the son.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has come under criticism for his security strategy and, in particular, the bungled arrest of the son of another powerful kingpin.

In October, Mexican officials let go Ovidio Guzman, the son of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, after shootouts with drug gangs broke out in the streets of Culiacan, a major city.

13-year old boy commits suicide in Lagos after he was accused of touching a girl's buttocks and was suspended

It has been reported that the Police at Ikotun Division, Lagos, have started investigation to uncover the circumstances that led to the death of a 13-year old SS1 student, who reportedly committed suicide by drinking popular insecticide, Sniper, after he was suspended from school for two weeks.

According to a report by P.M. Express, the late Juwon was a student of Foldemi Private School located at Ola Farm area of Abaranje, Ikotun, Lagos.

It was gathered that one of the female classmates went to the School Management and reported that the deceased touched the buttocks of another female classmate which he reportedly denied.

However, the School Management found him culpable and subsequently punished him by suspending from the school as a disciplinary measure to serve as deterrent to other students despite his denial.

The boy was very angry and felt humiliated for nothing he did not commit in school. When he got home, he took the insecticide, Sniper, which was kept at home and drank it.

Few minutes after, he became unconscious and died in the process before help would come to him as his parents were not at home.

When his parents returned home and found him in that condition with a bottle of Sniper insecticide beside him, he was taken to an undisclosed hospital where the doctors certified him dead. His corpse was taken to the cemetery and buried immediately.

The death of the student, Juwon, sparked a serious protest in the area and the school to the extent that his classmates mobilised and stormed the home of their female classmate, identified as Chinaza, who was behind the suspension in order to attack her. But sensing danger, her parents managed to sneak her away from the compound and since then Chinaza is said to be in hiding.

When P.M.Express visited the school, it was under lock and key. It was said that the School Management directed the students to embark on midterm break to calm down the tension generated by the death of Juwon.

Daddy Freeze reacts to Pete Edochie's 'no kneeling' proposal.. says African men who don't do that, do this instead (pictorial illustration)

Daddy Freeze has reacted to Pete Edochie's 'no kneeling' proposal, saying most African men who won't go public by kneeling to propose to their girls will use their two legs in private to do what you see in the above photo.

Daddy Freeze made this known two hours ago on IG writing; ''Disappearing post.... goes down in 30 mins... - Many of those men who refuse to kneel on one knee to propose to their wives to be, ofttimes end up kneeling on two knees anyway....🙄. Must we be hypocritical about everything?🤔''

Recall Pete Edochie had said any African man who kneels to propose to his girl is a compound buffoon because it's a white thing and not in anyway African. What about this photo sir? Compound buffoon too?

Donald Trump MOCKS Oscar-winning film Parasite, Brad Pitt

Donald Trump has mocked the South Korean film Parasite after it scooped the best picture prize at the Oscars - telling a crowd he wished for the return of Hollywood classics like Gone With The Wind.

Director Bong Joon-ho's commentary on class struggle made history when it became the first foreign language film to win the top prize at the Academy Awards this month.

The film is shown with English subtitles.

Parasite also earned Bong best director and won both best original screenplay and best international feature.

Neon, the North American distributor of the film, responded to Mr Trump's comments by saying they were "understandable" because he "can't read".

The US president had bemoaned the film's success during a rally in Colorado.

The president asked the crowd: "How bad were the Academy Awards this year?"

Imitating an Academy Awards presenter, he said: "And the winner is a movie from South Korea! What the hell was that all about?

"We got enough problems with South Korea with trade. On top of that, they give him best movie of the year? Was it good? I don't know. Let's get Gone With The Wind. Can we get Gone With The Wind back, please?

"Sunset Boulevard? So many great movies."

Mr Trump added: "Did this ever happen before?"

Gone With The Wind is a film about the Civil War-era South that won best picture 80 years ago.

The president also took aim at Brad Pitt.

The Hollywood actor said when accepting an award that he got more time to speak, 45 seconds, than former national security adviser John Bolton received at Mr Trump's Senate impeachment trial.

Mr Trump said: "And then you have Brad Pitt.

"I was never a big fan of his. He got up, said a little wise guy thing. He's a little wise guy."

Parasite is one of the most acclaimed films of recent years.

Girl with Down syndrome who doctors wanted put in institution becomes top model

A girl with Down syndrome who doctors wanted to be committed to an institution has thrived to become a top model.

Kennedy Garcia’s mother Renee was distraught when doctors told her the newborn wouldn’t have any quality of life, would still be in nappies into adulthood and would be better off in a specialist institution.

One medic even suggested she ‘just give her up for adoption.’ Renee, from Colorado Springs in Colorado, kicked them all out of her hospital room and refused to give up on her child.

And 15 years later Kennedy has defied their gloomy predictions in spectacular style. The youngster recently attended homecoming prom with her devoted boyfriend Matthew, has competed in state-wide dance competitions and models for top brands across the US.

Renee, 40, says, ‘The night Kennedy arrived, I was heartbroken to learn she had the condition because I was being fed nothing but a negative, bleak picture painted by doctors and nurses who really had no idea what my child‘s future really held. ‘It was only the next night when a kind midwife told me Kennedy was beautiful and just like her daughter, who also had the condition, that I felt a glimmer of hope.

‘The first thing I asked was if her daughter could walk, because I really didn’t know what having the condition meant, and she just laughed.

Her daughter was 16 and of course she could walk.’ As the mum-of-four listened to the nurse’s stories about her daughter, she realized the girl sounded much like other teenagers Renee knew. ‘It gave me hope for the future,’ Renee recalls. ‘Now, Kennedy is like most girls her age. She has a posse of friends who adore her, she loves to dance, sing and experiment with her hair and makeup.

She goes to the cinema with her brother and their friends and sometimes breaks the rules.

‘She has brought so much joy and laughter into our lives and has grown into a gorgeous, funny young woman with the world at her feet.’

Kennedy, who has modeled for American Girl, Justice Clothing and recently appeared on a nation-wide US census television advert first began dancing aged five. She was only able to do so after dangerous surgery to stabilize her neck and spine was a success.

‘She’d just recovered from leukaemia when we learnt the top of Kennedy’s cervical spine was separating from the base of her skull. It was a miracle she hadn’t been paralyzed already,’ Renee added.

Widow Awarded $6m from police following suicide of husband, who had been accused of murder

For Rebecca Brown, it was never about the money. It was about clearing her husband Kevin’s name after the San Diego Police Department issued a press release days after he committed suicide in 2014 claiming he had killed a child in 1984.

Last Friday, the 66-year-old widow spent a bittersweet Valentine’s Day in a San Diego courthouse, where a jury awarded her $6 million, including $3 million for “the loss of her husband’s companionship.”

And on Tuesday, now-retired SDPD detective Michael Lambert, who Rebecca alleged had misled a judge to secure a warrant to search her husband’s property was ordered to personally pay her $50,000 in punitive damages.

“I’m sure they will appeal the decision, but now it’s on the record,” Rebecca tells PEOPLE.

Both Rebecca and her attorney were willing to limit the punitive damages to $1 if Lambert had apologized. He didn’t.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that in Tuesday’s hearing, Lambert testified that the verdict was a “gut punch for me. I believed I did the best I could on this case.”

Lambert added the verdict is “forever going to hurt my reputation as a cop.”

Rebecca says Lambert smeared the reputation of Kevin, a former forensic criminologist in the department and Lambert’s former colleague.

In her lawsuit, she alleged the department drove Kevin, who suffered from depression and anxiety, to suicide with their allegation that he killed a 14-year-old girl.

“When the unanimous judgment came down, it meant the detective was wrong and it was total vindication for Kevin,” Rebecca tells PEOPLE.

“The San Diego Police department issued that press release and thought, ‘Case closed!’ But I was not going to let that happen.”

It was a victory in Rebecca’s quest to clear her husband’s name, but small comfort for the Catholic school teacher who thought she would spend her retirement with her beloved husband she described as a “gentle person who would never hurt anyone.”

Leah Sharibu’s mother meets Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby in London

The mother of the abducted Nigerian schoolgirl Leah Sharibu Thursday met with the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby in London.

Rebecca Sharibu is in London to mark the second anniversary of her daughter’s abduction by a faction of Boko Haram.

“We were honoured to share the Eucharist with Rebecca Sharibu today,” Welby said in a tweet. “A woman of profound courage and faith, Rebecca is mother of 16-year-old Christian Leah Sharibu, kidnapped by #BokoHaram two years ago.

“We pray for you, and for Leah to be released free from harm.”

Sharibu told a rally in Westminster, London on Wednesday that she was in “great pain” over her daughter’s abduction.

“My daughter, my only daughter, is already two years in captivity, and President Buhari promised me that she would be released but she has not been released. I need Leah back home and I need him to set Leah free, just like the other girls were set free,” Rebecca Sharibu said in Hausa.

“The students who were taken along with Leah have been brought back to their parents but we have been going through pain for two years, pains that cannot be described.

“On a daily basis, we hear Leah this, Leah that. We are in great pains. At times, when the stories come out, we feel so pained, we feel so terrible. We are constantly in pain, all we desire is to have Leah back with us.”

Late Nipsey Hussle's girlfriend, Lauren denies dating Diddy

Late Nipsey Hussle's girlfriend, Lauren London has denied dating Diddy

People began to speculate that Lauren is dating the rapper after he posted a photo of him and Lauren at the Roc Nation brunch from this February. "More Lost Files... Me & My Sister @LaurenLondon @rocnation brunch," he shared to his Instagram and his Story.

The pictures were innocent enough, with Lauren and Diddy simply walking through the venue, alongside a blue heart. Nonetheless, social media users began to wonder if London was ready to date less than a year after the death of Nipsey Hussle.

And to add further fuel to the flame, some tabloids reported they're actually dating.

But Lauren London has now made it clear she's not dating Diddy or anybody else for that matter. "I'm all love and peace but never forget... I'm a woman in grief and I don't play about Nip, my family, my character and code," she states on Instagram.

She added, "Stop f--kin playing with me and my name. Now let me get back to healing."

A man that has all the time for you is jobless – Alibaba

Comedian Alibaba has said a man that has all the time for you is a jobless man. He was talking about relationships and how a man who doesn’t have time does not necessarily mean he doesn’t love you. A lot of people however agreed with him. What he wrote on his instagram page;

''Choose who you want to be with. Don't let all these people come online to confuse you.
_
Any man who is available 24/7... is not the kind of man you want.
_
And if your lady is busy, appreciate her efforts to make it up. Don't burn out the few moments you have, quarrelling over the times she wasn't available.
_
Our jobs and time required differ. An actor may have all the time in the world for you. But a 9-5 worker can only be available at weekends.
_
Some Naval officers can be away for months. Dont compare them with that photographer that covers weddings and sees you all week.
_
Because he sees you every day doesnt mean he loves you more than the one who works hard and sees you once in a week...

Be guided''

FG demands reversal of visa restriction policy by US

The Federal Government has called on the United States of America to consider the long standing relationship between the two countries and reverse its Visa restrictions on Nigeria.

The call was contained in a statement issued by the Director, Press and Public Relations of in the Ministry of Interior, Mohammed Manga yesterday in Abuja.

According to the statement, the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, made the call while receiving the American Ambassador to Nigeria, Her Excellency, Mary Beth Leonard and her team.

He said; “the Government of Nigeria believes that the cooperation with the United States of America will help address Immigration and Consular issues in control of persons seeking to enter both countries through issuance of visa, passport and other travel documents.”

The Minister said as the Chairman, Presidential Committee on the Citizen Data Management and Harmonization, he was bold to say that Nigeria has complied with most of the issues of concern raised by America, including, but not limited to the uploading of over 700 Stolen/Lost Passports on the Nigeria Immigration Service’s Database,’ saying Nigeria is not a pariah nation.

He said he believed Nigeria is too important an ally of America to deserve such a sanction, adding that the country should be commended rather than sanctioned.

Ogbeni Aregbesola further appealed to the US to review its Visa Validity to Nigerians from two years limit to at least five years as well as establish a third office in Nigeria in reciprocity with the country which has establishments in Atlanta, New York and Washington DC.

He emphasized the need for both countries to strengthen the Security Governance Initiative between his Ministry and American Embassy through proper enlightenment and awareness creation, adding that the relationship between both nations must be mutually beneficial.

The Minister assured that the President Muhammadu Buhari Administration is not only committed to ensuring internal security and citizenship integrity of Nigerians and foreigners alike, but also to the fight against terrorism and transnational crimes and criminalities.

‘We are positive that visa restriction is a temporary one, it will soon be put behind us,’ the Minister reiterated.

Two passengers who tested positive to Coronavirus on quarantined Diamond Princess ship die

Two Japanese passengers who contracted the new coronavirus on board a cruise ship quarantined in Japan have died, officials say.

At least 621 people on the ship tested positive for the virus, named Covid-19, the biggest cluster outside China.

Banned keke napep replaced with mini buses (Photos)

Following the ban on motorcycles and tricycles from five local government areas and major highways in Lagos by the state government, new mini-cars with the shape of tricycles have been spotted on some highways in the state.

The ban on Okada and Keke as they are fondly called became effective on February 1, 2020, amidst outcry from residents and operators.

The decision forced many commuters to resort to trekking several kilometers to major bus stops where they would get buses.

Well, it seems some residents have decided to devise other means to solve the transport woes that have bedeviled the state in the past few weeks.

Some new tricycle-shaped cars painted in the yellow and black Lagos commercial vehicles colours have been spotted on Lagos road

A Twitter user shared photos of the new cars on the microblogging site.

Computer scientist behind cut, copy and paste dies aged 74

Larry Tesler, an icon of early computing, has died at the age of 74.

Mr Tesler started working in Silicon Valley in the early 1960s, at a time when computers were inaccessible to the vast majority of people.

It was thanks to his innovations - which included the "cut", "copy" and "paste" commands - that the personal computer became simple to learn and use.

Xerox, where Mr Tesler spent part of his career, paid tribute to him.

"The inventor of cut/copy & paste, find & replace, and more, was former Xerox researcher Larry Tesler," the company tweeted. "Your workday is easier thanks to his revolutionary ideas."

Private jet business booming over coronavirus fears

Wealthy travelers are clamoring to fly private jets amid the rapid spread of the highly contagious coronavirus, according to a report.

Private jet operators have seen a recent boom in business since the late December outbreak of the virus in China.

“While a large portion of the increase can be related to Chinese New Year travel, we also attribute the growth to customers preferring a private flight rather than a commercial option during a delicate time affected by the coronavirus outbreak,” said Ian Moore, chief commercial officer of VistaJet.

Darin Voyles with Paramount Business Jets said there’s been a “considerable uptick” in prospective clients, including those looking to return to China.

But the Australia-based firm can’t take on the majority of the requests, he said.

“Aside from the risk of exposure for the crews, the operational and business concern is that when they return from mainland China, they will essentially be unable to work for two weeks as they will have to go into quarantine immediately,” Voyles told the BBC.

Some of the clients are people stranded as several airlines have grounded flights in China in addition to authorities restricting travel in high-risk areas of the epidemic.

American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and China Eastern Airlines are among the carriers that have suspended flights over the virus, which has spread to more than 73,000 people across the world.
