Nengi lamented to Biggie during her diary session that she wished Ozo was with her to the final of the competition as she narrated how Ozo held on to his word since the first day they met.
According to Nengi:
I’m just somehow because most of my friends left yesterday.
“Ozo is a real guy and such people are hard to find, from the first day he said I like this girl and he stayed true till the last day.
“Such guys are hard to find, I really wished he was with me in the finale.”
The 39-year-old multi-award winning singer burst on to the music scene with her American chart topping single Fallin’ back in 2001.
And while she has gone on to sell over 30 million albums worldwide, the critically acclaimed musician says she may have found herself succumbing to a lifestyle of drug taking and prostitution if music hadn’t taken her out of her native Hell’s Kitchen in New York City.
Reflecting on her career as she released her latest album, titled Alicia, the Grammy award winning star reflected on what could have been.
She told the Guardian: “I am that person [the underdog] The one that wasn’t supposed to make it out of Hell's Kitchen, who was supposed to end up being a prostitute, a young mother at 16 years old, or addicted to drugs.
“I am the one who was supposed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and got injured or killed.”
Thinking back to how Hell’s Kitchen was in 1980s New York, the star described it as: “It was all porno places, with hookers on every corner.”
She went on to explain that the rough neighbourhood had an affect on her dress sense and style.
Alicia explained: “I had to always wear something very baggy, very dark, always had my hair back; I felt like if people saw me, they might try to touch me. That’s why I’ve always been such a tomboy.”
Meanwhile, in another interview, the star reflected on working with a fellow singer in the early 2000s.
Alicia planned to give her 2004 hit single If I Ain’t Got You to Christina Aguilera – but was urged not to by someone in her own team.
She explained to Stereogum: “[Christina] reached out and was like, ‘Would you write something for me?’ And then it came through so many emails. What a voice! I know I could write something fire for her.
“So time passed and I hadn’t written the song yet. And [the label] was like, ‘Do you have anything for Christina?’ I remember I had just recently written ‘If I Ain’t Got You.'
“[But my A&R team said]: ‘Are you fucking crazy? We’re not giving her that song. Are you out of your mind?’
“It was such a cool vibe for us to be able to work together during those times. But I will never forget that I would have given away ‘If I Ain’t Got You’. Isn’t that crazy?”
Alicia instead penned the song Impossible for Christina – which featured on the 2002 album, Stripped.
Desiree Mariottini, 16, from Cisterna di Latina, Italy, was found dead after being drugged and r*ped in the construction site in the district of San Lorenzo .
A witness claims that the 16-year-old girl went to the abandoned site used by homeless people to buy drugs from the four men.
Narcisa Leon, an Ecuadorian woman who squatted in the abandoned site, told the court that she found the victim lying motionless on a dirty mattress.
She had seen the schoolgirl with the four defendants earlier in the day.
The four men, Yusif Salia, Mamadou Gara, Brian Minteh, and Chima Alinno, are on trial for the r*pe and death of the 16-year-old.
HORRID DEATH
They are accused of giving the victim a cocktail of drugs before raping her in turn and leaving her to die.
According to Leon, one of the defendants said “better she is dead than us be in prison”.
Other people who were apparently squatting at the site knew that the girl was badly hurt, but did nothing after hearing what the suspected drug dealers had said.
Leon claimed that the suspects wanted the teenage girl to die to escape possible jail time.
She also said that one of the suspects, Mamadou Gara, confirmed in a conversation with her that they had given the victim a strong tranquiliser and that he had then had “s.e.x with her”.
The case is ongoing.

Stephen Dunford, 26, sped past the youngster who was standing with some pals when he opened fire and struck the boy.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported the boy to hospital, where he had surgery for leg injuries before he was discharged.
He was also found guilty of an additional count of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life in connection to a firearms discharge on January 10 on Northcote Avenue.
Dunford was charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life after the tragic incident on January 12 in Sheffield, South Yorks.
Sheffield Crown Court found Dunford guilty on both charges following a six-week-long trial.
He was also found guilty of an additional count of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life in connection to a firearms discharge on January 10.
The court heard how Dunford recited a rap that he had written himself during a phone call in prison, where he said a “youth was hit by a stray” in reference to a bullet.
The group was intending to go to the cinema that afternoon, but around 3.45pm their plan was dramatically interrupted.
Detective Chief Inspector Jade Brice, investigating, said: “This was an atrocious act, which resulted in the shooting of a young, innocent boy.
“The victim that day was not Dunford’s intended target, but the incident has had a profound impact on him and his family.
“CCTV footage from that afternoon shows a white car drive past the group and witnesses described shots being fired. The boys immediately ran away from the car, clearly terrified.
“One of the boys, 12 years of age at the time, was shot in the leg. He bravely managed to run home where his father, understandably traumatised, called emergency services to the scene.
“A second boy had a miraculous escape as one of the bullets struck the hood of his jacket, narrowly missing his neck and head.
"Later that night, officers were called to a vehicle fire on Clough Road. It was a white Ford Focus, the same car used in the shooting. Checks revealed the vehicle had been stolen from West Yorkshire in November 2019.”
Vanguard gathered that the incident occurred at about 9:00 pm at Sunnytex near Lion’s park when three unidentified gunmen stormed the shop to rob but luck ran out on them as people in the neighbourhood who noticed them during the operation raised an alarm and went after them immediately they came out from their victims’ Supermarket.
An eyewitness, Who simply identified himself as Olayinka told Vanguard that when they noticed the boys numbering about three were robbing at Sunnytex supermarket they alerted people in the neighbourhood and they laid siege on them.
“When we noticed that the boys were robbing, we decided to lay siege and accost them, we were not afraid because we discovered they had locally-made gun.
“Immediately they came out from the supermarket the mob went after them, and raised the alarm, funny enough, one of them too joined the mob in shouting “thief ooo” not knowing that he has been marked already.
“Two ran through a nearby street while the one who joined us in raising alarm wanted to escape via Rabana roundabout , he was apprehended and lynched.
“While the other was also lynched and set ablaze, the people in the area have suffered a lot in the hands of these boys and when you look at them, you will see they are just teenagers, but it’s unfortunate they are involved in armed robbery, I believe there are charms around their neck and waist.
“The third person is still at large as some people have already gone after him and I believe he will be apprehended too because everyone around at alert as we speak,” he said.

As many as 100 people are feared to be stuck in the building in Bhiwandi, Satya Pradhan, the chief of the National Disaster Response Force said in a tweet.
A child - among several people rescued - has been rushed to hospital after being pulled him from under the debris, local media have said.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), fire brigade and police teams are all at the scene following the collapse at around 3.40am on Monday.
It is understood the building - in the Patel Compound area - contained at least 21 flats and was over 30 years old, with many residents asleep during the collapse.
TV coverage showed pictures of rubble and a rescue dog running through the scene.
Reuters partner ANI quoted the spokesman of Bhiwandi municipal corporation as saying eight people were dead.
The news agency quoted a Thane Municipal Corporation spokesperson as saying: "The number of deaths have risen to eight in Bhiwandi building collapse incident. Five more people have been rescued."
Daniel Spong, 26, made his 24-year-old victim meet him at a pub to apologise for causing his sister 'distress' before driving him to Toft's Hill cemetery, Stathern, in the Vale of Belvoir.
After plunging a knife into the victim, Spong chillingly announced: "If you die from this you deserve it."
Leicester Crown Court was told the defenceless 24-year-old was left lying in a pool of blood at night.
Despite a lacerated liver, he managed to stagger down a hill searching for help, until he encountered a couple who alerted the emergency sercies.
The victim, who also bled into his chest cavity, underwent an operation and has been left with ongoing medical difficulties and psychological trauma.
The court heard that Spong also carried out a smoke grenade attack at a house in an unconnected incident, for which he was also sentenced, Leicestershire Live reports
Philip Gibbs, prosecuting, said Spong had learnt that the victim had caused 'distress' to his sister and he messaged a friend saying the man was "dead."
He then spent days tracking him down, sending repeated messages and making 17 phone calls.
They eventually met at a pub in Melton, to discuss the matter.
The victim agreed to accompany Spong, and a man who was with him, on a car journey to apologise to the defendant's sister for whatever problem he had caused previous week.
He was the taken on a daunting 15 minute journey in Spong's car to the isolated cemetery in Stathern at 8pm on Friday March 13, where he feared something terrible was going to happen.
When they arrived, Spong's associate punched the man to the ground and stamped on him.
The defendant was "clearly in charge" and told his friend to return to the car, said Mr Gibbs.
Spong told the victim: "There's no way out for you now."
The prosecutor said: "He produced a five-inch long knife, bent down and stabbed him once in the stomach."
Spong said it was in retaliation for "violating" his sister and added: "If you die you deserve it."
The victim's phone rang and the defendant took it from him before driving off.
However, Spong dropped his own mobile, recovered at the scene by the police who found his incriminating text messages.
Identified only as Pannalal, the man was arrested following the alleged attack which left his victim with serious injuries, according to a senior police official.
An investigation into the incident on Saturday in Nekpur village, in the Indian northern state of Uttar Pradesh, is continuing, Superintendent Pravin Singh Chauhan told local media.
Police are said to be still determining the motivation behind the crime and it is currently unclear what was used to cut open the victim.
The expectant mum's parents claimed the man carried out the bloody attack because he was desperate for a boy, having already fathered multiple girls.
The woman, aged 35, is understood to have been seven months pregnant and remains in a Bareilly Hospital in a critical condition.
Family and neighbours are understood to have taken the woman to a district hospital before she was transferred.
The condition of the baby is currently unclear.
The alleged incident reflects a continuing stigma towards baby girls in certain sections of India.
