Willow Smith speaks about mum Jada Smith having an affair.... says i'm "so proud" of her

Willow Smith has spoken out about her mum Jada Pinkett Smith having an affair with singer August Alsina and said that she is "so proud" of her.

The 19-year-old daughter of Jada, 49, and Hollywood star Will Smith. 52, sat down for a Red Table Talk session on Facebook Watch and revealed her thoughts on her parents' marriage almost crumbling.

The teenager said that they were "the real deal" when they spoke about Jada having an "entanglement" with August and how Will felt about his wife being with another man.

Will and Jada said they were amid a private separation at the time, so it wasn't viewed as 'cheating' as their marriage was effectively over when Jada hooked up with 28-year-old August.

Willow sat down with her mum, grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Jones, and their guest Brene Brown to discuss vulnerability in an episode of the talk show that aired on September 28.

Willow wasted no time in sharing her thoughts on her parents speaking openly about their marriage and how they have now repaired their differences.

She said: "I’m so proud of you, to be able to see you and Dad do that, for me, that was like, OK that was the real deal."

Willow continued: "That’s real love. When you can be like, ‘I’m with you, I’m gonna stand by you, and I’m gonna hold your hand because I love you’, that’s what we do and that’s really important."

What was initially seen as an explosive reveal all about the state of Will and Jada's marriage has now become an example of how couples can overcome challenging situations.

They have been married since 1997 and Will told Jada during their showdown on RTT: "I really felt like we could be over."

He continued: “We came together young and we were both broken in our own ways, and to be able to make mistakes without the fear of losing your family is so critical."

Jada replied at the time: "One of the things that I’m deeply grateful in this whole process between you and I is that we have really gotten to that new place of unconditional love.”

Will hit back: “Cause’ I wasn’t sure I was ever going to speak to you again. The fact that I’m speaking to you again is a miracle.”

Jada said near the end of their chat: "You gotta go through some s*** to get the answers. I’m just happy because I definitely believe you and I never ever, ever thought we’d make it back.”

UN Secretary General warns 'there is no end in sight to coronavirus, loss of jobs and disruption of education'

The head of the UN has warned 'there is no end in sight' to coronavirus after the number of global fatalities hit the 'mind-numbing' level of one million.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called it 'an agonising milestone,' in a statement released after the world - with more than 33 million cases - reached a million deaths.

He warned 'there is no end in sight to the spread of the virus, the loss of jobs, the disruption of education, the upheaval to our lives.'

The United States has recorded the most deaths with more than 200,000, followed by Brazil, more than 142,000; India, 96,000; Mexico, 76,000; and the United Kingdom, 42,090.

Guterres added: 'It's a mind-numbing figure. Yet we must never lose sight of each and every individual life. They were fathers and mothers, wives and husbands, brothers and sisters, friends and colleagues.

'The pain has been multiplied by the savageness of this disease. Risks of infection kept families from bedsides. And the process of mourning and celebrating a life was often made impossible.'

Still he said he said the pandemic could be overcome with responsible leadership, cooperation and science, as well as precautions such as social distancing and wearing face masks. He said any vaccine must be 'available and affordable to all.'

Covid-19: Some passengers with negative PCR tests, still test positive on arrival - PTF

The Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 on Tuesday justified the repeat Covid-19 test being conducted on international travellers after seven days of their arrival to the country.

The National Coordinator of the PTF, Dr Sani Aliyu, said at the taskforce’s briefing in Abuja that a significant number of 80 out of the 2,403 tests carried out when the exercise began turned out to be positive.

He said this was despite the fact that the travelers who tested positive arrived in the country with a negative PCR test.

“Of the 2,403 passengers that were tested in Lagos when we started the exercise, 80 were positive. Meanwhile, they had negative Covid-19 PCR test,” he said.

He said the repeat test would have been unnecessary if the country had “a system of enforcement of isolation such that everybody coming into the country self-isolated effectively for two weeks.”

Aliyu also warned foreign travelers to pay to only laboratories on the travel portal of the government for their repeat tests.

Aliyu said, “No Federal Government agency is receiving these funds. The negotiation for the cost is between the state governments and the private labs themselves.

“The charges range between N35,600 for the Kano portal which we are just about to operationalise to N50,400 for Lagos.”

Khloe Kardashian accused of changing looks to mimic Beyonce with 'new face'

Khloe Kardashian has come under scrutiny yet again after looking wildly different from her old self in new snaps.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 36, has been announced as the face of beauty subscription service Ipsy and appears in new promotional shots for the brand.

But the campaign has drawn attention for the wrong reasons, as many have said she looks "unrecognisable" in the photos.

Some have even accused her of trying to look like Beyonce, with one saying she looks like a "drag" version of the Crazy In Love singer.

In the photos Khloe wears dark fake tan and a bright pink outfit.

The styling looks eerily similar to Beyonce's look in the music video for Destiny's Child track Bootylicious.

And the comparison was made by plenty of Twitter users.

One tweeted: "Somebody PLEASE tell me why Khloe Kardashian is doing Beyonce cosplay?"

"Khloe is in full-on Beyonce drag now," another posted.

A third said: "Not Khloe Kardashian trying to be Beyonce ?!! New month, new face."

Another agreed: "Help I was looking at this for 30 seconds and didn't even realise it was Khloe Kardashian.

"Genuinely thought it was Beyonce."

Khloe has been accused of changing up her face with surgery, which she has never commented on.

Chinese county declares emergency over Black Death plague

China has declared a PLAGUE emergency after a three-year-old boy was struck down by the Black Death.

The child, from a remote village in Menghai county, Yunnan, in the south west of the country, was confirmed to be infected by the killer disease yesterday, state media reports.

Chinese authorities in the region have started a level IV emergency response to prevent another epidemic following the Covid-19 outbreak, reported Global Times.

This follows the discovery of three dead disease-ridden rats in a village in Menghai which sparked a national screening programme.

Bubonic plague is a bacterial disease spread by fleas living on wild rodents and can kill an adult in less than 24 hours if not treated in time.

Also known as the 'Black Death', the illness killed up to 200 million people in the 14 century.

Authorities said a severe rat infection has broken out in Yunnan earlier this month.

This comes after a plague outbreak in neighbouring Mongolia which has seen 22 reported cases - six of which have been confirmed.

The latest is a 25-year-old woman who has been hospitalised with the disease after eating an infected rodent called a marmot.

She is held in isolation in Khovd province along with 19 people she contacted.

FFK pours encomium on his wife, Regina amidst marital crisis

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode took to his instagram page to celebrate his Ghanaian wife, Regina amidst reports of his marital crisis with the mother of his sons and ex-beauty queen, Precious Chikwendu.

In a lengthy post, he praised Regina for loving him unconditionally and not objecting when he took a second wife.

He wrote;

''O Daughter of Zion, how great thou art and how mighty is our God! My wife yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever: utterly fearless and ever so strong. God bless you for your love, honesty and loyalty.

From 1993 when we first met you have always been candid, honest and true with me even when I refused to listen and from 1997 when we got married you have always been kind, loyal, faithful, forgiving, patient, understanding, gentle, long-suffering and loving.

I guess that is why you have always been the strongest and most powerful force in my life.

I took a second wife who I also loved and you did not object.

I had other children and you welcomed them with love, understanding and kindness. Such selflessness is rare and utterly astounding.

Your courage and resilience is second to none and your faith in our God is inspiring and exempelary.

Without you I would have been nothing today, I would not know God and neither would He have been so kind and good to me.

Thank you for your constant prayers, for your comforting words and for always standing by me even in the most trying and challenging times.

The enemy sold a lie and you stood on truth. This has been your disposition and practice for the last 27 years ever since I have known you and from the very first day I set my eyes on you.

That day you were a sight to be seen: so filled with wisdom, knowledge, passion and love, so beautiful and so dedicated to the work of God and the spreading of the gospel.

You are a Daughter of Light and a Handmaiden of the Living God. You are divinely empowered and your endless compassion and powers of perception, insight, foresight, oratory and understanding are simply extraordinary.

Such fortitude! Such resilience! Such faith! Such love! Such loyalty! Such gallantry! Such courage!

You are a rare gift from God and the truth is that, right from the outset, I never deserved you.

God bless you, our beautiful daughter Oluwaremilekun and all our other children. I shall cherish you and love you until the day that I die. I shall never forget how you called me your poet/warrior.

I shall always remember how you gave all and sacrificed all just for me. (CONTINUED👇👇👇)

I shall never forget how you saw in me what others refused to see.

I shall never forget your love, your agape love, and how you always forgave me when I got it wrong.

I shall never forget how we weathered every storm together and how you always proudly stood with me in the fray.

My love for you is unquestionable, unimpeachable and irrepressible and it stands forever.

The Lord guard and guide you, O servant of the Living God! The Lord be with you now and always, O faithful one! The Lord watch over you forever, O Daughter of Zion! ❤❤❤💋💋💋👄👄👄''

A.I. robot serves customers at Seoul restaurant

“Aglio Kim”, a trolley-like robot which uses artificial intelligence (A.I.), is delivering food to customers at a restaurant in Seoul, in order to minimise human contact and help ensure social distancing.

Shortly after customers order through a touch-screen on the table, the 1.25-meter-tall robot, developed by South Korean telecoms company KT Corp, brings the food and uses its visual SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) capabilities to avoid obstacles and navigate around customers.

The robot can deliver food to up to four tables at once, KT’s AI Platform Business Team leader Lee Young-jin told Reuters.

The A.I. robot is equipped with food trays which can carry up to 30 kilograms and an LCD screen and speaker that communicate in both Korean and English.

“Customers found the robot serving quite unique and interesting, and also felt safe from the coronavirus,” said Lee Young-ho, a manager at the Mad for Garlic restaurant which has tested the robot this month.

From Monday, restaurants and cafes in the densely populated Seoul metropolitan area are allowed to open after 9 p.m., but must leave two metres between tables and record patrons’ names and contact details.

The Ogun State Internal Revenue Service (OGIRS) has engaged the Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) in a tussle for the tax of Laycon, winner of this year’s edition of BBNaija.

Ondo election: Many injured, over 20 vehicles, motorcycles destroyed as APC, PDP supporters clash in Owo [Photos]

Political violence rocked Ipele community in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State on Tuesday as supporters of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Eyitayo Jegede and that of the All Progressives Congress, APC, clashed.

The clash was said to have occurred when the campaign train of the PDP arrived in the community.

Following the incident, Jegede alleged that policemen supervised the attack on his campaign train by thugs.

According to Jegede, who spoke through his campaign’s Head of Media Research, Kayode Fasua, the political thugs suspected to be from the camp of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC attacked supporters of the PDP upon their entry into Ipele.

Specifically, the Divisional Police Officer, DPO of Ipele was alleged to have backed the thugs all through the attack.

Meanwhile, the camp of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has accused the PDP candidate of instigating the attack in the community.

While emphasizing the PDP is crying more than the bereaved, the Spokesperson of the Akeredolu/Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization, Olabode Richard Olatunde stated that “Eyiyato Jegede SAN, ordered his thugs to unleash coordinated attacks on the innocent people of Ipele and Ijebu in Owo local government area. Our people were traumatized with the sound of gunshots sporadically by Eyiyato Jegede thugs in Owo today.

“Sensing that the PDP might be in the main town, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, ordered his campaign convoy to take another route out of the town.

“Despite this, Eyitayo Jegede and the PDP still went ahead to cause mayhem in Owo by attacking innocent members of the public and anyone with APC or Akeredolu branded caps or T-Shirt.

“No fewer than 20 cars were destroyed and many innocent people of Ipele and Ijebu Owo injured. Motorcycles were burnt and the streets of Ipele littered with shells of bullets.

“This intimidation to scare the people of Owo from coming out to vote massively for their son will not work. The people are resolved to support Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

“We must also note that the PDP went berserk when no one received them into Owo. They obviously prepared to come into the ancient town for attacks and violence not to campaign.”
