Twitter's chief executive Jack Dorsey has unfollowed Donald Trump's personal account just a few weeks ahead of the inauguration of president-elect Joe Biden.
The social media platform has said it handled Mr Trump's account far more leniently than that of any other Twitter user, because it was in the public interest to see what the president of the United States was saying.
However, Twitter has said he will be treated like any other user when he leaves the White House, leading many to speculate he faces being banned for repeatedly tweeting false claims.
Despite this, the unfollowing is not likely to be connected to any such ban. Mr Dorsey has also unfollowed Ivanka Trump, Joe Biden, and even Kamala Harris according to @bigtechalert, an account that tracks Silicon Valley executives.
She showed off 11 Playstation 5 gaming console on Monday, an item that has been sold out since mid-November with sparse restocks.
And on Tuesday, her husband Offset showed off their extravagant Christmas set up.
The rapper, 29, shared a video to his Instagram story featuring their five Christmas trees at their home.
Offset, who was not pictured in the video, was heard saying: 'How you like Christmas trees going crazy? Five piece.'
The center tree was the tallest with medium ones next to it and smaller ones on the end; they all had similar decorations - featuring pastel hues.
The decorated trees on the end had more lights than the middle ones, with the ground near them covered in rocks and beautiful flowers.
The set up was done in an atrium area of their home, which had enormously high vaulted ceilings.
Fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on the extravagant idea, with one writing: 'Christmas forest,' while another pointed out there were no gifts.
Another wrote: 'That's so pretty... like a mini enchanted forest.'

A wealthy haulage boss who ran a Europe-wide drug ring from his living room using an encrypted phone network has been jailed for 14 years.
Irishman Thomas Maher helped transport £1.5million worth of cocaine from the Netherlands to Ireland from his suburban home in Warrington during lockdown.
He appeared at Liverpool Crown Court today after previously admitting to four counts of conspiracy to commit a crime abroad.
The court heard the 40-year-old played a role in conspiracies to traffic around £1.5million worth of cocaine to Ireland via the UK and launder about £1million in cash.
The father-of-three, of Warrington, Cheshire, used encrypted phone network Encrochat - which was accessed by law enforcement agencies across Europe earlier this year - to plan the transportation, the court heard.
Sentencing him, Judge David Aubrey QC said: 'You were an extremely important cog in the wheel of a sophisticated network of distribution of class A controlled drugs which had an international element.
'You were a trusted organiser, playing a part in where goods were to be exchanged, how parties would be able to identify each other when drugs were to be conveyed and how.
'Drugs cause desperation and misery, they are a cancer in our midst, but for those like you it matters not as long as financial profit is being achieved.'
Maher, who used the Encrochat handles Satirical and Snacker for his messages, was arrested in October last year after the deaths of 39 Vietnamese people found in a shipping container in Essex, but was never charged in connection with the deaths.
A spokesman for the National Crime Agency said officers seized vehicles including a high-end Range Rover, Land Rover Discovery and an imported Corvette worth £70,000 following his arrest.

Explicit n*de pictures of the King of Thailand’s mistress have been sent to anti-monarchy activists in a bid to “sabotage” the Royal consort.
More than 1,400 snaps of Thai king Maha Vajiralongkorn's mistress – many of them n.a.k.e.d or semi-n.a.k.e.d – have been sent to detractors of the Royal family.
The leak of the “very explicit” photos of Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi – also known as Koi – is thought to be connected to a bitter rivalry between the King’s mistress and his wife.
The revelation of the saucy snaps, some of which show Koi naked or semi-n.a.k.e.d posing provocatively for the camera, comes after she rejoined the royal harem after being dramatically expelled and imprisoned last year.
The stunning army hospital nurse was given back her royal and military titles after she was previously accused of seeking to undermine the king's official wife and former consort, Queen Suthida.
The pictures – thought to have been taken by Sineenat herself – were sent to British journalist Andrew MacGregor Marshall, who has written critical articles about the Thai monarchy, reported The Times.
“The photographs are clearly from Koi's personal phones,” he wrote in a Facebook post.
“Most of the images are photographs she took of herself, and dozens of them are very explicit. It seems probable that she had taken these explicit photographs of herself to send to Vajiralongkorn.”
The 1,443 snaps were taken between 2012 and 2014 and include revealing shots of Koi topless and in skimpy nightwear.
The pictures were also sent to Thai academic Pavin Chachavalpongpun, who lives in Japan and who faces criminal prosecution in Thailand for his criticism of the monarchy.
The photos were delivered with a fake return address and a letter claiming they had been obtained by “pro-democracy Thai hackers”.
“However this is almost certainly untrue,” added Mr Marshall.
“Koi's return was bitterly opposed by palace factions supporting Queen Suthida and Princess Bajrakitiyabha and it is highly probable the images of Koi were leaked in an effort to sabotage her return as Vajiralongkorn's consort.”
Sineenat was handed the title of “chao khun phra”, meaning royal noble consort, during a ceremony to mark the king's 67th birthday last July.
It was the first time in nearly a century that a Thai monarch had taken a consort, after the 68-year-old king married his fourth wife Queen Suthida, 41, just three months earlier.
Sineenat also received four medals, including the "most noble order of the crown of Thailand" and the "most exalted order of the white elephant, special class".
But last October, less than three months after making Sineenat his royal consort, the king issued a command rescinding the appointment and sending her to prison.
The official statement accused his mistress of being “dishonourable, lacking gratitude [and of] disobedience against the king and the queen”.
In a bizarre twist at the end of August this year, the Thai Royal Gazette newspaper reported that not only was Sineenat back, but she had never done anything wrong and records should not show she had ever lost her privileges.
The Department of State Services (DSS) has raised the alarm that it had uncovered plots by some criminal elements to carry out violent attacks on public places, including key and vulnerable points during the yuletide seasons.
The intelligence agency also said the criminals were planning to carry out the dastardly acts by using the explosives, suicide bombing and other dangerous weapons.
According to a statement made available on Tuesday night by the spokesperson of the agency, Peter Afunaya, the objective is to create a general sense of fear among the people and subsequently undermine the government.
The statement added: “Against this backdrop, citizens are called upon to be extra vigilant and report strange movements and indeed, all suspicions around them to security and law enforcement agencies.
“On its part, the Service is collaborating with other sister agencies to ensure that adequate measures are put in place for protection of lives and property.
“To further achieve this purpose, the Service has provided these emergency response numbers 08132222105 and 09030002189 for urgent contacts.
“It is also using this opportunity to unveil its interactive website www.dss.gov.ng for public communication support.
“Everyone is encouraged to take advantage of these platforms and similar ones provided by related agencies to timely reach and avail them (security agencies) of required information.
“However, the Service advises those planning to cause chaos and damage to public peace to desist from such as it will stop at nothing to apprehend and bring them to justice.

The Senate has commenced a legislative work to enact a law that would legalise the activities of various hunter groups in Nigeria.
The bill, titled “The Nigerian Hunter’s Council of Nigeria Bill, 2020 (SB. 477), was sponsored by Senator Biodun Olujimi (PDP, Ekiti).
The proposed legislation, which has passed second reading in the Senate would put to rest the notion that the groups lacked the constitutional powers to operate.
Olujimi told journalists on Tuesday that the law when enacted would also empower the hunters to provide community policing, maintain law and order and offer community service to Nigerians.
General Overseer of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Elijah Ayodele has prophesied that president Muhammadu Buhari, will suffer health complications in 2021.
Primate Ayodele made this revelation in a tablet of prophecies delivered to the media where he spoke about the National Assembly, Aso Villa, Buhari and several other things.
According to him, the Lord told him, the rich and poor will cry and the Buhari led administration will fail to deliver its promises to the people.
His words;
“I foresee that it is a year in which the people will express their grievances through aggression. I am not seeing a very peaceful atmosphere in the nation. The problems will be fluctuating and the rich will be most affected,”
“The spirit of God says the rich and the poor will cry. I foresee that the year will be the year of the Lord in which the people will humble themselves before the Almighty God this will be consequent upon the so many adversities that will happen.
“I foresee that many things considered unexpected will happen; it is a year of tears and happiness. I foresee certain conflicts in which God will help His people out. I recommend that by January 14, 7 days of fasting be declared for us to scale through so many things that will happen.
“There will be cases of collapsed bridges in Nigeria. The 4th Mainland Bridge and 2nd Niger Bridge will come into actualization.
“The International community will assist Nigeria in combating Boko Haram. But there will be politics; the Government will be paying the Boko Haram.h
“The Buhari Government will face so many challenges and the people will criticize them. The people will not like the Government.
“The Buhari Government will not be popular towards the end of his tenure. There will be several deaths in Nigeria, which will make people point an accusing finger at Buhari’s government.
“The government will fail to deliver on most of its campaign promises. There will be corruption in the Nigerian Population Commission.
“The people will protest against Buhari and call him different names. Buhari will disappoint many people as he will not be able to steer the ship of his government appropriately.=
“The Buhari Government will witness a lot of setbacks in terms of security, economy and unfulfilled promises. These will cause divisions in the ruling party. Buhari will disappoint a lot of his followers. The cabals will take over the Buhari Government
“I foresee kidnappings in Aso Rock. The Villa needs cleansing because there will be fights in the villa. I foresee that some important documents will leak out of the Villa.
“There will be Classified Official leakages from the Villa. Let’s pray not to lose anybody in the Villa. Aso Villa must be fortified against attacks. There will be speculations of attacks in the villa.
“Protests will be directed at the Aso Villa because protocols will be broken.
I foresee a lot of loopholes in the Buhari Government that will disqualify all efforts the government might have been making for the past years.
“There will be clashes in the house. I foresee senators engaging in physical combat. A mace will be stolen in the House of Assembly in one of the states in Nigeria.
“The Buhari Government will lose focus and Buhari himself will not understand the rules and how to steer the reins of the government. Buhari will be sick. But they will be shielding it from public knowledge to protect him.
“Buhari will be incapable of so many things. Buhari will be unfit; the cause of the sickness will be his inability to direct the affairs of the country that is what the Lord reveals to me.”
Vladimir Putin has signed legislation that will grant former Russian presidents lifetime immunity once they leave office.
The bill, which was published online Tuesday, gives former presidents and their families immunity from prosecution for crimes committed during their lifetime.
They will also be exempt from questioning by police or investigators, as well as searches or arrests.
The legislation was part of constitutional amendments that were approved this summer in a nationwide vote that allow Putin, 68, to remain president until 2036.
Prior to the bill becoming law, former presidents were immune from prosecution only for crimes committed while in office.
Now a former president can still be stripped of immunity if accused of treason or other grave crimes and the charges are confirmed by the Supreme and Constitutional courts.
But the legislation Putin signed on Tuesday will additionally grant former presidents a lifetime seat in the Federation Council or senate, a position that assures immunity from prosecution upon leaving the presidency.
A woman, 29, who faked she had cancer and even shaved her head to convince her friends she was terminally ill so they would pay for her £8,500 dream wedding has been jailed for five months.
Toni Standen of Widnes, Cheshire, made up a story that she had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and had just two months to live.
Friends launched a GoFundMe page to help her and her partner James have a 'wedding they deserve'.
She has been jailed for five months and ordered to to repay a donation of £2,000 made by a local businessman.
The Crown Prosecution Service said that in June 2015 Standen told two of her friends, Ashlea Rowson and Jennifer Douglas, that she had been diagnosed with terminal vaginal cancer.
Ms Standen provided regular updates on her treatment to her friends with such clarity and detail that the condition was never questioned.
She also shaved her head to appear as though she was undergoing treatment and shared pictures of this on social media.
The fraudster later claimed to have two months to live and said her wish was to have her 57-year-old father Derek, who was dying of cancer, walk her down the aisle.
Her friends began fundraising to help fund the wedding - which was held after the death of her father - at St Bede's Catholic Church in Widnes.
Her father Derek died before the wedding but a video he recorded was played on the big day.
One guest said: 'After hearing her father's laboured words she got up and gave a faultless speech, even cracking a few jokes.
'Her mother and brother were in bits. We'd all just listened to a father of the bride message from beyond the grave.
'Toni even received a video message from Everton FC, delivered by one of the top players. She laughed throughout.'
Touched by her seemingly heartbreaking story, her friends raised £8,500, which helped her have her dream wedding.
Standen and her newly-wed husband James reportedly flew off to a honeymoon in Turkey after the wedding.
The pair also reportedly had a holiday in March in which they visited Germany, Austria, Hungry, Czech Republic and Italy.
Suspicion grew surrounding Standen's condition after the wedding.
Eventually she admitted what she had done in a three-way phone call with her friends which they recorded.
In the call she admitted that she did not have cancer and never had.
In a text to friends after she admitted her scam, she said: 'I love you both, I am thankful for everything over the last couple of years.
'I am very sorry for all of this, I am embarrassed and heartbroken and right now I am struggling.

A female staff of Delydad Quarry, Damilola Agboola, has been abducted on Tuesday in broad day along the old Oyo – Ibadan expressway in Akinyele local government area of Oyo state.

The Police Public Relations Officers of the Command, Fadeyi Olugbenga confirmed the abduction in a press release made available to newsmen in Ibadan, adding that a coordinated search has commenced.

More than 300 Nigerian schoolboys were reunited with their families last weekend, days after they had been abducted by kidnappers from their dormitory in the country’s north-west. The kidnapping revived memories of the 276 Chibok schoolgirls abducted in Borno state in 2014. Just as then, Boko Haram, the militant Islamist group, claimed responsibility.
The government insists no ransom was paid. Scepticism is warranted. In a country going backwards economically, carjacking, kidnapping and banditry are among Nigeria’s rare growth industries. Just as the boys were going home, Nigerian pirates abducted six Ukrainian sailors off the coast.
The definition of a failed state is one where the government is no longer in control. By this yardstick, Africa’s most populous country is teetering on the brink.
President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 pronounced Boko Haram “technically defeated”. That has proved fanciful. Boko Haram has remained an ever-present threat. If the latest kidnapping turns out to be its work, it would mark the spread of the terrorist group from its north-eastern base. Even if the mass abduction was carried out by “ordinary” bandits — as now looks possible — it underlines the fact of chronic criminality and violence. Deadly clashes between herders and settled farmers have spread to most parts of Nigeria. In the oil-rich, but impoverished, Delta region, extortion through the sabotage of pipelines is legendary.
Extortion is a potent symbol for a state whose modus operandi is the extraction of oil revenue from central coffers to pay for a bloated, ruinously inefficient, political elite. Security is not the only area where the state is failing. Nigeria has more poor people, defined as those living on less than $1.90 a day, than any other country, including India. In non-Covid-19 years, one of every five children in the world out of school lives in Nigeria, many of them girls.
The population, already above 200m, is growing at a breakneck 3.2 per cent a year. The economy has stalled since 2015 and real living standards are declining. This year, the economy will shrink 4 per cent after Covid-19 dealt a further blow to oil prices. In any case, as the world turns greener, the elite’s scramble for oil revenue will become a game of diminishing returns. The country desperately needs to put its finances, propped up by foreign borrowing, on a sounder footing.
In its three remaining years, the government of Mr Buhari must seek to draw a line in the sand. It must redouble efforts to get a grip on security. It also needs to restore trust in key institutions, among them the judiciary, the security services and the electoral commission, which will preside over the 2023 elections.
More than that, Nigeria needs a generational shift. The broad coalition that found political expression this year in the EndSARS movement against police brutality provides a shard of optimism. At least Nigeria has a relatively stable democracy. Now Nigeria’s youth — creative, entrepreneurial and less tainted by the politics of extraction — should use that system to reset the country’s narrative.
A new, slimmed-down state — ideally one with fewer, bankrupt regional assemblies — must concentrate on the basics: security, health, education, power and roads. With those public goods in place, Nigeria’s young people are more than capable of turning the country round. At the present trajectory, the population will double to 400m by 2050. If nothing is done, long before then, Nigeria will become a problem far too big for the world to ignore.
The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested 43 people for prostitution and illegal sales of alcohol substance at Kwanar Gafan vegetables market, in Garun Malam Local Government Area of the state.
Harun Ibn-Syna, the Commander General of Hisbah ,who paraded the suspects on Monday, in Sharada quarters, confirmed the arrest.
“Out of the 43, 34 are females while the remaining nine are males, aged between 15 and 18.
“The investigation conducted on the suspects also revealed that, out of the male number, eight were found selling hard drugs and one person found in possession of 80 cartons of different bottles of beer,’’ Mr ’Ibn-Syna said.
He said 14 were HIV positive, 10 knew their status while four do not know, and that three rolls of male and female condoms were also recovered at the market.
He said the arrest was jointly organised between Hisbah board and the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency.

A 300-level student of the Department of Agriculture, University of Ilorin, Gbenga Favour Olaoye-Akanbi, has committed suicide after he was allegedly duped by a forex trader, Eseka Chuckwutem Gospel (ESG).
Family sources told SaharaReporters that Olaoye-Akanbi was discovered dead on Sunday after drinking poison.
The 19-year-old student was said to have invested over N300 million belonging to his colleagues and friends in a business run by ESG.
Speaking to SaharaReporters, a friend of the deceased and an investor with the firm explained how they were duped.
He said, "The investment is forex. The guy's name is Eseka Chuckwutem Gospel. We started the investment together this year. It seems he stopped trading, so he turned indirectly to a Ponzi scheme without the knowledge of those investing.
"He has a particular group. Most people in that group collected money from other people to invest in his business. The late Gbenga collected money from different people to invest with ESG at a certain percentage.
"Later on, the investment crashed, and the guy was arrested. With the help of some senior police officials, he was released. So over time, people that were with ESG as investors( they had borrowed money to invest) were now being pressurized to repay the loan they took. I am one of the investors, too; we were under a lot of pressure to pay up. So I think because of this guy's age, he is just 19-year-old, he couldn't withstand the pressure and committed suicide."
A course mate of the deceased said he assured them that forex is not a Ponzi scheme and that he had back up funds, much enough to pay every one of his investors their capital and profits even if things went wrong.
"It's so sad; I have over N5m investment deal with him. He claimed to be the one doing the trading initially, but when the problem started around June, he started mentioning one Eseka Chuckwutem Gospel as his boss. He told us they were arrested together, but that our money was safe with him.
He later promised to pay everyone's capital before December. I was surprised when I saw people posting his pictures with RIP today," he told SaharaReporters.
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has called on the Nigerian government to immediately halt flights to and from the UK now in view of outbreak of new strain of COVID-19 in their land.
A fast-spreading variant of COVID-19 in the UK has raised fear as some countries have already banned flights to and from the UK.
However, Atiku in series of tweets said the reason Nigeria took a harder than necessary hit during the first wave of the COVID-19 virus was that the Federal Government failed to heed the warnings of well-meaning Nigerians, like himself and others, to shut down the nation’s borders once the virus became a pandemic.
“Nevertheless, we must learn from history, or we stand the risk of repeating it.
”The new strain of COVID19 that has erupted in the United Kingdom, and specifically, London, can add to Nigeria’s health emergency if we do not act with an abundance of caution and temporarily halt all flights to and from the UK until this new strain is brought under control,” he said.
According to him, some nations had already taken prompt action by halting flights to and from UK.
He said Nigeria must take necessary precautions due to the volume of air traffic between her and the UK.
