Female rioters defecate, urinate at feet of UK policemen during ‘Kill the Bill’ riot [photos]

Shocking footage shows two female rioters squatting down to defecate at the feet of a line of British cops -- pausing to take selfies as a mob cheers them on.

Photos from the “Kill the Bill” riot that raged in Bristol shows the pair walking up to the line of shield-holding riot cops and pulling down their pants and underwear.

As they squatted down at the feet of the officers, other rioters let out huge cheers -- many shouting “f–k you!” at the officers who remained in place despite the disgusting act.

The women then lifted phones to take selfies, seemingly only pausing to flip off the officers they were rioting against getting new powers.

Another female rioter was also photographed urinating on the foot of another officer during the violence that left 21 cops injured.

The riot was supposedly against the government’s Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill.

“What do you say to that? It’s pathetic,” Bristol Mayor Marvin Rees told TalkRADIO when asked about the video of the women “pulling down their trousers and defecating.”

“Well, it’s worse than pathetic. It’s also politically illiterate,” Rees said.

“It’s just selfish, self-indulgent and self-centered behavior that’s all about them living out their fantasy of being revolutionaries,” he insisted of the rioters who also torched police vehicles and trashed a precinct.

The riot was supposedly against the government’s Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill -- currently going through Parliament -- that would give police new powers to impose time and noise limits on protests.

Four Kenyan policemen on trial over custody death of 28-year old British aristocrat

Four Kenyan policemen will stand trial for the murder of a British aristocrat who died in police custody in 2012, a judge ruled this week.

Alex Monson the 28-year-old son and heir to the 12th Baron Monson was found dead in his cell in Diani after being arrested for allegedly possessing cannabis.

Police said he died of an overdose, but reports by government pathologists said he suffered a traumatic blow to the head. An inquest later said there had been a cover-up and threats to witnesses.

This week, High Court Judge Erick Ogolla ruled that four officers -- Naftali Chege, Charles Wangombe Munyiri, Baraka Bulima and John Pamba -- must stand trial in Mombasa on murder charges.

“The accused should tell the court what happened since the deceased was arrested in good health,” Ogolla ruled.

Lord Nicholas Monson told The Telegraph that the decision over his son’s death was “certainly a relief.”

“I think we are all exhausted -- the process has been so enervating -- but we have to soldier on,” he said. “It is hard on all the family.”

Akintoye lambasts Akeredolu for rejecting Yoruba nation

Professor Banji Akintoye’s led Ilana Omo Oodua has berated the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, for rejecting the agitation for the creation of a Yoruba nation.

Akeredolu had during the swearing-in of Princess Oladunni Odu as the new Secretary to the State Government and other Special Advisers in Akure, the state capital, on Monday, said, “No part of the entire state, known and delineated as Ondo State, shall permit any Yoruba nation gathering or agitation“.

Reacting to Akeredolu’s position, Akintoye’s Ilana Omo Oodua said Akeredolu spoke for himself, and not the people of Ondo State.

The group made this known in a statement titled, ‘Our Agitation Shall be Bloodless, Intellectually Rooted, Legally Grounded’ on Tuesday.

It stated that the agitation for the Yoruba nation “is not that of a plot for secession as erroneously branded by Akeredolu, but a struggle for self-determination”.

The statement added, “We wish to say very clearly that Akeredolu is entitled to his opinion. He has only spoken for himself. If he is sure he speaks for the classical masses of Ondo State, he should ensure that his army of state-induced terrorists allow us to stage our one million march peacefully in Akure, Ondo State capital to prove whether he spoke for Ondo state people or for himself.

“Akeredolu feeds 100 per cent on the commonwealth of Ondo State people. He is a member of the tiny neo-liberal and neo-classical elites who will never support the wishes and aspirations of the masses.

“We saw how he grandstands on the terrorists and murderous herdsmen illegally occupying the forest reserves in his state and we saw how he chickened out to the chagrine of all of us who staked our reputation to defend him.

“Akeredolu has now surrendered the farmlands in Ondo State to the government of Fulani herdsmen while masquerading to be participating in National Livestock Programme.

“We are saying for the sake of clarity that what we declared is the sovereignty of Yoruba Nation from Nigeria, and not a secession from Nigeria. We want an autonomous Yoruba Nation.

“We want to determine how we want to govern our people. We want to control and manage our resources. We want to police and secure the lives and properties of our people.

“We have made our position known. Our agitation for autonomous Yoruba Nation is legally grounded, intellectually rooted and it shall be executed without shedding of blood.

“Akeredolu cannot sit inside the comfort of his office and claimed to be speaking for the people of Ondo State that he has failed to regularly pay their monthly salary, pension and gratuities.”

NBA protests over Magistrate's order to jail lawyer in Abuja

There was drama at an Abuja Magistrate’s Court as the magistrate, Ibrahim Mohammed, ordered policemen to arrest and handcuff a lawyer, Eburu Barth, for challenging him on the summary of the case before the court.

Mohammed of Magistrate Court 2, Wuse Zone 6, thereafter sentenced Barth to two months’ imprisonment for contempt of court.

It was gathered that the lawyer was thereafter handcuffed and led out of the courtroom.

The lawyer was said to have been taken to Suleja Correctional Centre.

However, the Nigerian Bar Association, Unity Bar, Abuja, on Tuesday protested what it called arbitrary use of power by  the magistrate, , against Barth.

The association’s position was contained in a statement by its secretary, Adebiyi Adetosoye, titled “Press release on the arbitrary use of judicial power by Magisterate Ibrahim Mohammed of Zone 6 Magisterate Court, Abuja.”

The association said while it condemns every unruly act or disrespect to the court, it finds it “extremely offensive and the highest level of abuse of power” to summarily sentence a lawyer to jail without giving him a fair hearing.

According to the statement, the association has filed an application to review the order of court sentencing the lawyer to jail without fair hearing and that over 20 lawyers have offered to take on the matter.

The statement read in part, “We have also reached out to the necessary authorities to ensure that this order of court is reversed immediately.

“We are also going to be submitting a petition against the magistrate and ensure this trend is permanently put to a final stop.”

Vengeance: Obaseki bulldozes homes of Oshiomhole’s allies

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state Tuesday evening demolished buildings belonging to three close allies of his predecessor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

The victims include former Deputy Governor, Dr. Pius Odubu, a member of the House of Representatives Prof. Julius Ihonvbere and Mr. Mike Etemuagbon.

Ihonvbere also served as secretary to the state government in the second term of Oshiomhole.

Odubu’s property, located at Dennis Osadebe Avenue, GRA, in Benin, was occupied by his younger brother and his family at the time it was demolished.

Ihonvbere’s property (under construction), is located along Edo Osagie street, GRA, Benin.

Odubu described the development as unfortunate, adding that the matter was already before the court.

He said he had read on pages of Nigerian Observer newspaper in January, this year, that his Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), to the property, had been revoked.

“The information came to me this afternoon, March 23, that my property situated at Dennis Osadebe avenue has been brought down by agents of the government on the directive of the governor.

“Before now, my attention was brought to a publication in the Observer newspaper in January, that the C of O of my property has been revoked without prior notice given to me.

“I went to court in the matter and I am surprised that after they have been served, the government still went ahead to bring down my house with a bulldozer.

“My younger one was in the house when it was brought down and they did not give them notice nor allowed to remove any of their properties before destroying the place.”

Precious Odubu, wife of the former Deputy Governor’s brother, said at about 4 p.m., she noticed some policemen came into the compound and she accosted them to inquire about their mission.

“The way they came in, not through the main gate, I was afraid and asked about their mission, and they told me that they want to demolish the house and if there are children in the building, they should be brought out.

“Without even waiting for my response, they just brought in their bulldozers and started destroying the house without allowing us to remove our properties,” she stated.
