MTN Reduce Night Plan Volume 125MB For #25 , 250MB For #50 Full Details

I don't really know what is wrong with MTN Nigeria with the way they are revisiting their data plans. Just after increasing the price of their SME data share, they have finally reduced their Pulse Night data volume.

Below is the official text message MTN sent to all subscribers;

Y'ello! when you buy the Pulse Night plan at N25 from 16/08/2018, you now get 125MB. You also get 250MB for N50 and can make multiple purchases. Dial *406# to buy.

 From the text message above, you will start seeing the newly updated list from 16th of August, 2018. You will now buy 125MB for N25 and 250MB for N50 and can make multiple purchases, i.e; you can subscribe as many times as you want.

How To Subscribe To MTN Night Plan

The activation method hasn't changed. The same method you use previously, is also the same method used for the activation. On the offchance you don't know the activation code, kindly migrate to MTN Pulse Tariff by dialing *406#. After that, sms NIGHT to 131 to activate MTN night data plan.

MTN NG To Increase Price of SME Data Plans by August 21, 2018

MTN is at it again. They are planning to increase the price of their SME data share for the second time. Recall, late last year 2017, MTN increased the price of SME data plans, and now, they are planning to increase the price for the second time.

According to the official text message sent to all SME data sellers, it reads;

Dear Customer, from August 21, 2018, the following prices will apply to MTN SME Data Share: 10GB at N7,500; 20GB at N14,000; 50GB at N30,000. Thank you.

 New price to come

1. 10GB will be sold for N7,500, (N6,500 old price)
2. 20GB will be sold for N14,000 (N13,000 old price)
3. 50GB still remains at old price N30,000.

So, from 21st of August 2018, the new prices would take effect, and this would really kick some resellers out of the business while some will drastically increase their data prices which at the same time will leave customers with options to either buy directly from MTN or go with the new price.

This is really a sad news to all SME data resellers out there. I just hope their new prices would be fair enough to still retain their customers. Be that as it may, this would really make some resellers quit the business with MTN.

Data calculator seems to be the newest thing in town as millions of people now spend their time on the internet. With Data calculator, you can now run an estimate of data volume that can be used in a month.

MTN Data calculator is a free service that lets you calculate the amount of data you need in a month for surfing the web, streaming HD and non-HD videos, streaming music, downloads and many more online activities.

According to MTN, they estimated that Surfing the web for 1 minute equals to 1 MB, using social media for 1 minute and posting to social media equals to 4 MB, sending & receiving emails - 1 email (with no attachments) equals to 20 KB, while 1 email (with standard attachments) equals to 300 KB, streaming music for 1 minute equals to 2 MB, streaming non-HD video for 1 minute equals to 4 MB, streaming HD video for 1 minute equals to 15 MB.
