Twitter is currently rolling out an "Audio-only" broadcast feature to its iOS application. I'm quite not happy as they choose to roll out this feature to iOS users first. Hopefully, we expect to see this feature available for Android.
Just like Facebook, Audio-only broadcast works like live video broadcast, but the only difference here is that users can't see you but they can hear you very loud and clear.
This new Twitter audio broadcast would be so useful for Radio stations and podcasters. And as a user, you can have a feel of being an OAP while using this audio broadcast feature on Twitter.
If you don't want to be on Camera, or the place you are is not nice to go live on camera, then you can just talk without being on camera with the new Twitter audio broadcast feature.
Like I said earlier, the feature is currently available for Twitter for iOS. All you have to do is update your Twitter app from your app store, tap on the compose icon, tap “Go Live”, then tap the mic iconon the screen and you are live.
