Lester's daughter Lucy, now 27, has now spoken out about discovering her dad could be the biological dad of her childhood friend Paris Jackson
She said: "I didn't know dad had donated sperm to him until recently.
''In mine and my family's eyes Michael will always be Paris's dad. Regardless of who the biological dad is, Michael is Paris's real dad."
Despite being close to Paris when they were growing up, Lucy and the rest of the fmaily fell out of touch with Paris and her siblings Prince and Blanket, after Jackson's death in 2009.
The Gloucester-based mum has said she tried to get back in touch with Paris after Jacko was accused of child sex abuse in controversial documentary Leaving Neverland.
She added: "'I reached out to Paris over Instagram when the Neverland documentary came about.
''It's hard because it's not like a normal friend you can track down from Facebook and say 'fancy a cuppa'.
''I said I hoped she remembered me and how sorry I was to see these things in the papers and hoped she
is OK.
'I wanted her to know me and my family are 100 per cent behind her and her dad.''
In recent months Lucy's actor dad, who retired from showbiz to work as an osteopath in Cheltenham, has appeared on TV to loyally defend his pal Jackson
Lucy said: “Dad met Michael when he was 18, long before I was even born so for me it's always been pretty normal.
“It’s only now looking back that it sounds pretty surreal, as if you are describing someone else’s life not your own. But it was just normal at the time.”
