Passengers Flee As Fire Breaks Out At Arrival Section Of Imo Airport

There was panic this afternoon as fire broke out at the arrival section of the Sam Mbakwe international cargo airport in Owerri, Imo State.

The cause of the inferno was not immediately ascertained, but it was connected to the ongoing renovation at the arrival section, which was affected.

The inferno raged for about 50 minutes. It was however put out by men of the fire service and airport workers.
