A Nigerian woman has been reportedly arrested in Italy after she allegedly attacked a police officer in the city of Trevisto. The woman who was apprehended at the Canova Airport in Trevisto, had allegedly ingested drugs and was taken by the officials to the hospital in a bid to evacuate them.
It was gathered that when the Nigerian woman reached the hospital, she asked to use the bathroom and was escorted by a police officer to watch her.
Moments later, the woman allegedly attacked the police officer and took the gun from the holster.
According to the police, the Nigerian suspect tried to shoot the gun but it was on safety and didn't fire. The police officer struggled to collect the gun back with the help of other security agents.
The woman is currently in police custody, awaiting necessary action.
