The Work singer is reportedly renting an entire island in Essex so she can focus on recording her long-awaited ninth studio album, R9.
According to The Mirror, Rihanna has chosen the picturesque Osea Island, which is located just off the coast of Essex in Blackwater River.
A source claimed: ‘Rihanna has invited family to spend time with her while she works. She’s had a few stints in the studio since her last album, but she’s been really focused on her makeup, clothing and lingerie lines.
‘Since she moved to London, she has had friends and family staying with her so she can work at her own pace, surrounded by the people she loves.’ Osea Island spans 380 acres and is described as a luxury island holiday resort which is available for exclusive hire.
The resort boasts its own cinema, gym, pool, private beaches and an array of small cottages for the friends and family who have reportedly visited RiRi.
