Having shared a photo of the constellation-inspired ring on social media, it wasn't long before it was posted to the 'You Said Yes But Your Finger Said No' Facebook page where it became the subject of some cruel comments.
While those in the group were initially preoccupied with its snug fit, with some suggesting it needed an alteration, others then turned their attention to the state of her nails, as reported by The Sun.
The image shows a ring with nine small stones in a scattered pattern on a thin band.
One of the group's 25,000 strong members commented: "She should get it resized though if she can. I feel bad for her fingers. But the nails are giving me anxiety."
A second said: "OMG clean your nails. So many germs. I'm gagging."
Another wrote: "Why don't people feel ashamed of their dirty nails??"
Considering the state of our nails are often a lot worse, we are in absolutely no place to judge. As long as she is happy with the ring, that's all that should matter.
