The presenter, 57, returned to the daily ITV programme today and was spotted still proudly wearing his wedding ring as he joined his co-star and friend Holly Willoughby.
Phillip bravely returned to work for the first time since coming out as gay on Friday where he joined Holly for an emotional interview on the sofa before sharing a heartfelt statement on Instagram.
As he returned to his day job today, eagle-eyed viewers noticed that Phillip was still wearing his wedding ring after it was revealed he is still living with his wife Steph Lowe.
Having been married to wife Stephanie for 27 years and having two daughters together, Phil used his official statement on Friday to thank his wife for supporting him.
Phillip's return on Monday morning with his wedding ring comes after recent reports suggested he spent the weekend having heart-to-hearts with his wife, with the pair continuing to live together, in Henley, Oxon.
A source said: “It’s somewhat unconventional but they are still living together and very much a united front. Of course it’s been terribly hard but they are trying to work through their problems together.
"You can’t just erase 27 years of marriage.”
