The actor was killed last Monday in a car accident in San Bernardino County, California.
According to TMZ, his identity was not confirmed until now and the accident occurred when his Toyota Camry struck a pole.
Lorenzo was said to have been the only person in the vehicle and was pronounced dead.
Stephen Dulay, a friend of the actor, paid tribute to Lorenzo with a YouTube video featuring clips of them working out together, taking hikes in Runyon Canyon Park and preparing healthy meals.
In the description, Dulay said: ‘From September 21st-March 9th 2020 we were blessed to have Lorenzo Brino’s Beautiful soul in our lives.
‘The amount of people he touched with his character and charm was unbelievable. He was a loyal friend and an amazing brother. He would always get my back no matter what. Rest In Peace Brother.’
Lorenzo’s aunt Janet Brino is also said to have paid tribute to Lorenzo and said: ‘To my dear sweet nephew, your loss left a hole in my heart.
‘God needed another Angel and he took you. Please watch over your mom and dad.
‘You sister Mimi, brothers, Antonio, Zachary and Nicholas … You got a big job up there.’
Lorenzo was one of a quadruplet of siblings who all appeared on 7th Heaven when they were small children. The late actor starred as Sam Camden in 139 episodes of the show from 1999 to 2007.
His character made his debut when Annie Camden gave birth and it was reportedly one of the most-watched episodes of the series.
