Two More Nigerians - A Man and A Lady - Die Of Coronavirus

Two new deaths have been recorded from the dreaded Coronavirus in Akwa Ibom state and Borno state, in the south-south and north-east of Nigeria.

The two deaths reportedly occured on Sunday.

According to data from Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), with the two new fatalities, 21 persons have so far died from coronavirus-related complications in Nigeria.

Other states that have recorded fatalities from COVID-19 are Lagos – 13, one each in Edo, Katsina, Kano, and Delta, with two in the FCT, Abuja.

The NCDC added, “A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre, activated at Level three, continues to coordinate the national response activities.”
