Gay dad welcomes baby girl with his daughter's ex boyfriend

One of the UK's first gay dads has announced he has welcomed a baby girl with his boyfriend - who used to date his daughter.

Barrie Drewitt-Barlow, 55, announced the news on his Instagram about his child with Scott Hutchinson, 25, the ex of his oldest daughter Saffron, 20.

The couple announced they were expecting back in March.

They have now confirmed in an Instagram post their baby daughter, Valentina, has been brought into the world.

"Welcome to the world our beautiful daughter - Valentina Willow Drewitt-Barlow x our girl is almost a month early but she is perfect," Barrie said in a video.

He added: "We feel totally blessed x I love you Scott."

Barrie split from his husband Tony, 55, after falling in love with Scott.

Last year he expressed his desire to have daughters with his new partner through a surrogate mother.

Scott was previously in a relationship with his partner's 20-year-old daughter Saffron.

In a bizarre twist, the Drewitt-Barlows and Scott all live under the same roof.
