Few weeks ago, I talked about Nigerian banks trying to introduce WhatsApp banking service, and now, Access Bank has just officially launched its first WhatsApp digital banking service.
Banks like UBA, First Bank, and GTBank are set to bring their digital banking service to WhatsApp, to serve as a self-service platform too, which was scheduled to go official this September 2018, but it seems Access Bank was the first.

However, Access Bank WhatsApp banking is now official and already live for customers to start using. As a customer, you'll be able to perform some simple banking services like opening of account, check account balance, request Payday Loan and BVN display.
How To Start Using WhatsApp Banking Service
1. To start using Access Bank on WhatsApp, you have to add their official mobile number- +2349090901901, as a contact on your phone and save it with “Access WhatsApp Bankin
2. After that, message them with “Hi” to activate the service on WhatsApp.
